  1. Yeahhhh Im not too good with techy things. XD Ill probably end up using flickr anyway. But thanks for the link. May still use it.
  2. Hey, In our MOC posts, could we just post a link to something like flickr? Obviously with some description here on EB. Or do I have to put photos into the post. (Which I dont really know how to do. XD )
  3. I own 2 of each, or is it 3 88000's...Anyway, I dont bother screwing back in the screws on the bottom. I usually will have the box easily removable to change batteries and unscrewing screws isnt something I find fun when I want to run a train. But going back to the issue, I find the rechargeable box better in length of good operation and ease of use. I prefer to build a battery box into a loco instead of leaving it to later to fit it somewhere.
  4. Yes, I rather like the look of it going cab forward.
  5. Very nice loco. Its like one of those old steam trams. Feel better!
  6. I dont think the monorail fits in the middle. Id keep it off to the side and try to limit rail-monorail crossing as much as possible. I liked the open field feeling the old updates had. But, thats just me. I dont think the monorail fits in the middle. Id keep it off to the side and try to limit rail-monorail crossing as much as possible. 7. Oh it is multiple entries? Haha. I have a lot of building ahead of me!
  8. Oh yeah, forgot to mention. Nice part usage for the grab irons on the boiler. Haha. Hiding in plain sight!
  9. I want to participate! I just dont have time. XD I have a few ideas already, Is it only one entry per person?
  10. Just saying, as long as you keep the rubber bands in a dark cool place, they should be fine. My old xwings rubber bands are still in amazing condition. I had set 6212 since it came out in 06.
  11. I would try to give it another set of drivers forward of the rest. Its too big of a gap IMO. Cant wait for completion.
  12. Beautiful. The valve gear looks detailed and busy. Must look amazing while running.
  13. The battery box isnt too hard to hide in the tender. I disguised mine as coal. It was easy!
  14. Hrmm...Interesting problem.. Probably something with the batteries. Hard to tell though. Good luck anyway.
  15. You are wrong. 3rd picture from the bottom. Its under the wires.
  16. I found that in my use of BBB wheels, I didnt get much any traction. But I guess the problem isnt the wheels but the wheel arrangement. (It was a 4-6-4) Haha
  17. Very nice. Hope you can build it soon.
  18. They may slip a little, but it would save on friction. You dont want unnecessary friction to slow down the motor.
  19. Why did you quote me? Im just curious.
  20. Nice modification. I always hated the look of 9V steamers with the trucks but you have found a beautiful solution to that.
  21. Some companies do sell pre wired LED assemblies. I have bought some from Radio Shack and they are simple plug and go. Would recommend those to someone who isnt all that knowledgeable in LEDs. But also, bulbs WOULD worl, and would be much easier, but the size is what probably is a problem for Lego sized trains. One reason why LEDs are so great. Hope I can help.
  22. LEDs are very easy to work with. You just need to make sure everythings wired in the right order.
  23. I will try to get it in bricks. But it may take a few days. I dont have much time lately.
  24. Its easy to enlarge the cabin. I started with the roof and had jumper plates reach over the floor to connect with the wall.
