Haha didnt know that! Though it does make sense. Still, no harm in doing a Lego steamer underground.
-
But those are Creator Expert sets, not the standard train. And I would like a nicely designed Hudson. Tried to make one myself, Kinda failed...

Bjtpro. I actually completely forgot about Penn and Grand Central! How odd..I live close to NYC and am a huge fan of the NYC. Something about steam underground just didnt click for some reason. Haha. I guess Ive just never seen steam there for it to seem possible. :(

Wacky and Weird Locomotive Challenge!
Spitfire2865 replied to Electricsteam's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I mean just train tech people. The ones who didnt participate in each part. Like if you didnt do rolling stock you can vote on those. -
I really dont like the little circle of track in the mountain to be honest. It seems just too short to be useful for a little loco to run around. If the mountain track could connect to something I think it would look a lot better. Maybe the entire layout could have even 3 trains running at one time! All doing a specific job, like freight, passenger and something else!

Collecting just a sub-theme?
Spitfire2865 replied to Paul B Technic's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I believe Divers was its own theme, not a sub-theme of Town. Could be wrong about that one though. -
Mistake in LEGO's minifigure timeline?
Spitfire2865 replied to badbob001's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Isnt the Character Encyclopedia just Star Wars? Im sure Yoda was the first SW fig with short legs. Maybe they were referring just to SW in that? -
Collecting just a sub-theme?
Spitfire2865 replied to Paul B Technic's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Why should he? If he likes his method, why not? I think it would make an amazing collection having all the construction type sets Lego has made over the years on display in one room. Would love to see such a collection to be honest. Haha -
Have you ever questioned why you liked Lego?
Spitfire2865 replied to Geki Brick's topic in Community
I honestly loved this response. I as well feel that I like Lego because I like Lego. -

It just looks..Idk..Its steam and I love steam, but.. it doesnt look it..My heart is confused. Haha. Very nice. Good luck in the contest. -
Please just end this before youre left with the argument "But...but..you all misunderstood me. I didnt mean that, I meant this." Or where you just end up flaming about how Eurobricks is an unfair place when actually, if you are mature about the difference between facts and opinions,it is a VERY nice site to be on. Im sorry but I dont see this having a happy ending. Its a shame though. I would have liked to discus an Ewok Village. Its been so long since I did anything related to Star Wars. Wait..Tereglith. "ILK"? Not familiar with that term. Was it just a typo?

You have been saying this whole time that Star Wars is destroying Lego. Now you admit you like Legos theme? Honestly, Cardinal, All your arguments have been proven to be just your opinions, not actual facts. Im trying to help you, just end this. Each comment you make, you contradict yourself or restate an older argument which was previously proven wrong.

Ok, so for EVERY Lego theme, they are going to make Super realistic figures. So for the Average Joe minifigure for the City line, they will print a wrist watch on his arm because he works in an office and have a very detailed Employee ID card on his belt. Then go on ebay and buy all of them. If thats what you want No one is stopping you from going out and finding them.
-
Ok, Im going to use YOUR example. WWE ALMOST went bankrupt, but came back. Why would Lego not do that if they were going under? And the Lone Ranger sets are Legos reintroduction of western! If they find western sells again, they might bring back an original theme of them. Then stop bashing Galaxy Squad....
-
Lego has teams of market experts whose sole job is to predict what will sell. I dont think a global company would sabotage itself after decades of greatness. Just because YOU wouldnt buy some themes, doesnt mean no one will. I dont see myself buying Galaxy Squad, or Friends, or most of the Licensed themes, but Im still a customer to Lego. And the great thing about Lego is there is something for everyone. If one person doesnt like something, there are bound to be dozens who will.

Ok, I think you are over stressing the issue. Yes Lego should focus on non-licensed themes. But they will not bankrupt the company. The licensed themes are yes trendy, but they are an easy way to get a lot of profit from kids and adults who like those movies. You cant cancel Star Wars ships, as that is one of the major parts of the Star Wars theme, and has been the backbone of the Lego SW sets. Also, You said Lego should cancel Galaxy Squad, while that is one of their original ideas. I dont understand that logic. Lego is meant to have something for everyone, and if someone likes Superheros, Why shouldnt Lego offer that, at least once! And then secondary markets take over after Lego drops that theme. And if Lego is going to go under in the next ten years, Its not going to be by their current themes. If anything, it will be the lowering part quality which so many Lego users have noticed. Also, You talk as if you have knowledge of future events. You dont know what will happen in the future. Maybe superheros will spike again. You NEVER know. And no, I am honestly not feeling what your saying. Please dont take your opinions on a global company and talk as if they are the truth.
