  1. I've never managed to get a lego bargain but I keep looking. H
  2. Those buggy motors should make a comeback. H
  3. Brilliant work. I like what you've done and I like that you've presented it despite the boom not functioning etc, it shows faith that no one is going to be negative about it. This is a very positive forum and website. Could you look to raise the boom in stages or deploy pnuematics on mass. I'm sure between us all we can come up with something. Just had a thought, maybe it needs the help of a smaller crane to build it. Could it be part of a crane team? H
  4. Great job. I hope to build something similar myself. I'm a bit dissapointed though that it only has two wheel drive. H
  5. Superb! Looks like the real thing. I would love to see the internals, motors set up etc. You have done a great job. H
  6. The new sets are in store now (lego store that is). Skip/container truck at £60 and the Hot Rod at £29 ( If I remember correctly). Apologies, I did not look at the other model prices the shop was packed. Happy shopping and building H
  7. I popped into city centre and called into the lego store, I'm glad I did because the new Technic sets for the first part of 2014 are in store. Skip/container truck at £60 Hot Rod at £29 (if I remember correctly) I did not check the prices of the others. H
  8. Merry Christmas fellow forum members and happy building. H
  9. It was the wheels that led to me buying it. I'm using them now on me RC car. Whoopee! I'm a knight! H
  10. Lack of funds again has caught me out but I will try and get the new container/skip truck in the new year. H PS: Empty shoe boxes have their uses.
  11. Welcome Cave Dweller, I can relate to what you see as a problem, but believe me you will adapt to it. Here's a challenge for you, try fitting a new motor and battery pack into your barcode truck. See how you can adapt your barcode truck with studless parts. I'm still adapting to it and having fun at the same time. It might seem scary at first but have a good nose around the forum, examine the many pictures of models and practice building and adpating. I look forward to your input in the future. H
  12. Gee, it takes practice and time to get back into it and you're on track. You're where I was a while ago, making prototype's as we learn the new parts. The look of the model can wait for now. You'll be making trophy trucks and crawlers before you know it. I've made my first RC model purely as an excercise, which I posted before, and am now looking to make a video of it to post. Keep it up. H
  13. I bought this set when it came out and was considering rebuilding it. It's a good set. The studless version is not the same. H
  14. Great alternative model. I love the seats and you have all the functions, I like that you've put the function lever next to the seat. H
  15. That road train is fab. I've not seen it before. H
  16. I look forward to seeing it in action. H
  17. Yes. I have a creative mind but I don't know if lego made me creative or was it my creative mind that attracted me to lego 35yrs ago. This topic is very interesting. H
  18. Very clever. Just shows what you can do with lego. Make you own whatever. H
  19. Nice Jeep. I look forward to the video and more images if you can. I just looked at your images, nice drive train set up. I prefer a differential set up myself but I like what you've done. H
  20. Great work. Looks very challenging. H
  21. I am fascinated by these modules and hope to make one. Good video, man. H
  22. That looks great! I love the track and the colour scheme and I hope those RC motors make a return. Look forward to your video. I'm waiting for th chance to get out on a bright clear day to make a vid of my own. H
  23. I've used lego service for many years and only had one item go astray and they sent me a replacement, only for the original item to arrive three weeks later...from Australia. I contacted lego to let them know and they told me to keep both. H
  24. The UK site is also showing the new technic models. Not in the shop section yet so they are not available to buy yet. H
