  1. That bulldozer is an interesting one. Is it another part of the construction crew. H
  2. It's an interesting set but not for the usual reasons. It's not playable and the colour scheme makes no sense to me. I bought it partly out of curiosity it wasn't a must have set. Thanks for your comments. H
  3. It looks good but what happened to the wheels? H
  4. I like the idea of themes. I wonder if in someway the technic sets could mirror the town/city sets. They have trucks, tankers, helicopters and cars etc. An expert theme is a great idea and I would hope a beginner theme would also be welcome. Considering that many have had technic for over twenty years and we're still buying it maybe lego needs to realise they are still selling to us as grown-ups. H
  5. I know what you mean. What I didn't know was the method of steering, which I actually love. H
  6. Greetings, I bought the 42022 Hot Rod a couple of weeks ago and was not happy with the look of it. So I've rebuilt it. I've not changed the chassis, I've rebuilt the body work and turned it into a hot rod pick up. Your thoughts etc are welcome. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=6036547 H
  7. Hi Guys, I've used it before a few years ago and it worked great except for my computer being old and slow. Now though i can't get the pieces to lift off the base plate. I can't build anything up. Help please. I'm using version 4.3. H
  8. That's more like it Balrog. I would buy one of those. H
  9. There are some nice fire trucks around the world and with ladders, skylifts and outriggers there is the opportunity for many functions. The only problem for me would be the colour. I've got tons of red already. However, it's a good opportunity to include more white parts. H
  10. Great idea! One for those with mindstorms. H
  11. I also have a police technic man but from set 8252 H
  12. Welcome back. Your model looks good so far. H
  13. The video was a joy to watch. I love when they switch on all those battery packs. Great model! H
  14. That looks really nice. You've done a good job on the functions too and your engine is very clever. Thanks for sharing. H
  15. Nice engines! Is it possible to add sound effects with mindstorms? H
  16. Interesting! Could be worth something one day. H
  17. A nice job there. Look forward to the completed model and seeing it in action. The green is fine. H
  18. That's great! I didn't get my service truck in 2013 so will try and get the real 42029 when it comes out. The only negative for me is the red. I've got loads of red. I would have liked it to be blue and white. H
  19. Great trucks! Very neatly done. Welcome back to lego and we look forward to your comments and models. H
  20. I'm pleased to hear you are all getting your parts. H
  21. Heat would also be a factor in your models bending or parts becoming warped over time. I would suggest building some sort of stand from studded beams, which are still available from lego. I've known this happen before, not with lego as I don't display much, when a piece of material exposed to a tiny amount of heat over a long period of time finally gave up. Bang! it all came crashing down. Maybe some cooling in the summer months or cover them up in warm weather. Hope that helps. H
  22. I use an M motor and I'm pleased with it's speed, try the AAA battery pack also. H
  23. Ouch! That front grill and those white rims are mean. Quality! You should have a picture printed and put up on your wall. H
  24. That's great looking! It needs wheels on the inside of the landing gear but apart from that it's a good job. I hope you can finish it as you would like. I've discovered i'm rubbish at aircraft but will try a small copter. H
