    An intersting topic. Build them, have some fun with them, you can always sell them on later and buy newer sets. I'm a builder myself so I don't always understand why some keep their lego in the sealed boxes. H

    Guys, Your collections are fantastic. I've noticed though how the construction sets all seem to be within the same scale. Great pictures, thanks for sharing. I will post my own collection at some point. H

    It would seem red (as used in 8258) and yellow (as used in 42024) panels are out of stock at the moment. Red have been out of stock for a while now, I wonder if they will be coming back. H

    It might be better to put the wheels on the inside of the beam. They do look a bit weak. Apart from that it's coming along nicely. H

    The Shuttle Carrier is a brilliant idea. Looks like you know what you are doing. Once you've completed that one, can you build one from technic. PS: Will it have minifigs in? H

    Something that started as a bit of fun has become a massive project. I know the feeling and I want to see you complete it. It will be heavy using the parts you have used. if you can, rebuild the main body with technic beams and panels. If you can't, or don't want to, then continue as you are and let us see the finished model. It looks huge and if you can get all your functions to work well then it will be worth it. Good luck. H

    Can you shop online with you Debit Card? If you can then they will accept it if you ring them up. Maybe it's a protection thing so kids can't buy lots of lego using their parents cards (as happened with the apple app store). I must admit, if I were a 11yr old now and could get hold of my parents debit cards I would splash out and suffer the consequences. I've never had a problem when calling and paying the my card. H JTS, You are welcome. I kept an eye on the lego website waiting to see if the parts for the new sets were going to be available so I could share it with you all. For those who want to buy parts and not sets it's a great system. I'm glad they did it and I have a feeling this website played a part in lego creating a "buy a piece" section. Happy building! H

    I'd like to add that I feel we are lacking in certain colours (i.e.: white and blue). I have in my mind models I would like to see and build but could not get the parts in the colours. I do think lego technic has moved on but at the same time I get what this topic is about. H

    The lego service has always been very good. I will be ordering some white and blue panels etc asap. H

    I've not had one break on me yet, but then I've not built a large moc as yet, but I have known them to crack as you insert an axle. This topic will serve as a good reference in the future. H

    I'm liking the idea of tags. Could they be dated, ie: MoM, Jan 2014. Or am I asking too much. What do you think? H

    Great! We used to make things like that in my school days but not with lego. H

    Personally I like the idea of a medal or some sort of award. I don't mind cash prizes but maybe they could be reserved for something bigger towards the end of the year with a small entry fee. That way people have time to decide if they will compete or not, and any younger ones have time to save up an entry fee if they so wish. H

    That's a great crawler. Watching the video I began to think " will it go up stairs", then it did! I wonder if you could build a shorter wheelbase version as I noticed the chassis hit the stairs as it climbed down. A minor negative but I would build one if I had four XL motors, a clever design. H

    I'm liking the cargo plane a lot. Those white parts will come in handy and i'm sure we'll be seeing mocs made with those white parts in the near future. H
