A domesticated yeti is indeed a very rare thing! There are some nice combos in those figs. The Santa beard with the dwarven helmet is nice for sure. No love for the tight-wearing, daffodil-growing Avalonians?

The sloping on the top of the cliffs is fantastic! I'm looking forward to the rest of this series for sure

The peg leg for the staff made me laugh but it's a really good idea, definitely my favorite detail in an excellently detailed MOC.

Very awesome! Great work from both of you. I really like the colors used here, they blend together so well.

I like the dark green for the grass, and of course that's a great use of Kai's design. I do wonder about the "sideways" rocks though. It looks like you've got plenty of bricks to lay them all down sideways--we castle builders don't usually go "swooshing" around our creations like the spacers, so you only need 2-4 SNOT bricks to hold everything in place well enough to move from the build table to the photo setup.

I'm digging those doors a lot. The dark brown/reddish brown works well.

I was thinking the same thing--great re-use of that Roman torso, and the fig still has Mitgardian green arms! -
This is really impressive Gideon. I love how the bridge gives this MOC a very peaceful and almost quaint atmosphere.

You get the strangest looks from the moms and kids in the stores when you do that! Even stranger when you've taken your younger siblings to the store so the work goes faster -

Nice fig! And welcome to GoH -
Definitely digging the use of the Hobbit beard/hair pieces and like I said on C-C, this is the best snow-scaping I've seen from you. That said, I think there ought to be a pile of snow behind the double door's arch on the roof.

[MOC] Submarines: Mantis and Leviathan
mrcp6d replied to Sebeus I's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Both of these subs are great! They look like they could be scouring Earth's oceans right now. -
This is a nice vig! As others have mentioned, the walls are great.

Somebody got a good deal on barrels! It's an interesting technique, I'm not sold on it yet though. I like the sense of action here. The only thing I might do different is to loop the string through the guys hand. Right now I'm not sure who's got who

Looks good SK, always nice to see your interiors!

Simply incredible. I'm going to have to pour over all the pics on Flickr for quite some time.

This will be fun! My idea for my mage's barracks isn't really conducive for this, but I guess I needed something to get me started on the other two....

Is that one of those Christmas tree ornament things? -
Looked good while in progress, looks great now that it's done!

I wanted to do much the same thing with a forge for CCC but didn't get to it. Nice to know it works and works well!
