  1. This is gorgeous! Nice integration of the old and new grays.
  2. Fig-less! And I like it! Nice job on the lean. I wish there was a better way to make the seam with the swamp water disappear. I can't come up with one though
  3. This is an epic build. Like I said over on C-C, the dress is inspired--however the water and rock-work are fantastic too! The only thing not working for me is the clear canopy pieces as spray. I think a 1x1 & 1x2 plate solution may have been more organic looking with the lake's surface. A great build all-around. Good luck in the category!
  4. Nifty little tower SK I like how compact the whole build is too--no space is wasted.
  5. Thanks guys! I appreciate the comments. Kayne approved all the credits over PM this morning.
  6. I agree, this is great!
  7. This is one of the prettiest throne rooms I've seen in a while. LOVE the colors and the reliefs in the wall.
  8. Ah, thanks again Gabe!
  9. Excellent detailing on the cart and a fun twist on the category. I can't wait to see where it goes as your MOCs and storytelling are both fantastic! I do have a comment about the photo setup--you can take it or leave it : You might think about getting a piece of poster board (the card-stock stuff, not foam-core). Since it's flexible, you can use one piece for both the 'floor' and the backdrop of your photo setup thus eliminating the line between the horizontal surface and the vertical surface. White is good for quick setups but a crazy color like hot pink will allow you to rapidly edit out the background completely in Photoshop or GIMP. Poster board is like $0.50 a sheet in the States.
  10. Nice start to phase 1!
  11. Wait a day or two. Brickshelf is moderated and the pics get looked at after upload before they are publicly viewable.
  12. The distorted skull is awesome! Glad to see so many of us GoH folks are submitting CCC entries--this is one of the best in the "Dark Age Illumination" category for sure.
  13. Thanks! Yeah, I need to build a building or something. Kinda in a rut! Challenge 1 should pull me out
  14. Nice use of limited parts! I like the red plumes on the front of the siege tower--odd, but interesting.
  15. That dragon is epic! The gold belly really sets it off. The town is well done too, especially the pilings.
  16. Chopping wood at the base of the Heavenly Mountains near the Winter Lakes: Fishing off the eastern coast of the Isles of Solitude in the Bay of Seals: The Great Pine Forest in summer:
  17. Yeah, those shadows were nasty. I need to 1.) take pictures when the sun's up to get more ambient light; & 2.) get a diffuser or something for the lower lights I use on the sides. Good tip on the reflections, I never notice them until I've got the pics transferred over to the computer. Hot diggity. Headed over there now...
  18. I like how you buried the engines in the wings. Color scheme is freakin' sweet too!
  19. Hehe - like this a lot, very creative!
  20. Those trees are very, very interesting. They fit in great with how I picture Nocty!
  21. Thanks Torgar! Thank you! Thanks, I like how they look, but not how long it takes me to build them! Oh yeah, I forgot about that! Is that still going on? Thanks Simon - we're missing you in Mitgardia! Thanks Gunman!
  22. Spectacular MOC! I really hope we see more from you in the future!
  23. The lime green is perfect here. My favorite parts are the swords in the walls and the tattered flag. I'll have to work the flag technique in to one of my MOCs in the future.
  24. New build: Thread: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=90099 Hope you're all having a great holiday season!
  25. I'd like to receive credits in Agriculture & Zoology - logging; Anthropology - countryside scene; Anthropology - life in Mitgardia for this: Chopping Wood I'd also like to gently prod a Kaliphlinite to bump these 3 MOCs : Mitgardian Fishing Trip - certifications: Hydrology - waves (3/4 votes), underwater (3/4 votes); Agriculture & Zoology - brick-built animals (3/4 votes) Retrieving the Blue Stinger Wings - certifications: Landscape Design - trees (tree #1) (3/4 votes) Mages' Barracks - Phase II - certifications: Landscape Design - trees (tree #2) (3/4 votes); Architecture - 1x1 walls (2/4 votes, 1/2 against. roof rakes (3/4 votes); Geography - mountains and cliffs (3/4 votes) Thanks!
