I have to give the next person on the list a chance to MOC it within the month if the first person falls through. GMT -3.

Calling all Eslandian citizens! The crown has decided to charter an inclusive settlement. > What does that mean? That means that YOU have a chance at part ownership! > How can I participate? Simply apply in this thread. Make up a résumé; if you own any ships, hold any special posts, etc; pull out all the stops! The Eslandian High Council will be evaluating applicants on a case-by-case basis. > What good does part ownership do me? Mayors and other civil servants will be elected out of the inclusive ownership group. These are all salaried positions. Plus, you’ll have the prestige of being part owner of a settlement. You’ll also have a say in the settlement naming process. > How big of a part of the ownership will I have? That depends on the number of successful applicants. If there are three, you’ll have one-third ownership, if there are five, you’ll have one-fifth, etc. Requirements: You must be an Eslandian citizen. Leadership may require you to have already built several quality builds demonstrating your commitment. To solidify your claim, you will be required to build and buy at least one license in this settlement this month (or whatever month you apply). If you are not able to do this, your claim will be lost. Settlement Name: Puerto Alijo Ownership: TBD Location: Torrach Bonn Mayor: None, yet. Who can own property in Puerto Alijo: Anyone, from any faction. Who can freebuild in Puerto Alijo: Anyone, from any faction. Fortifications: None. Check out the Puerto Alijo index. Please post any free-builds that take place in Puerto Alijo in this thread. If you want to license a piece of property in Puerto Alijo, post in this thread and fill out the web form.

Citizens of Eslandola, Corrington, and Oleon! Gather round! (The rest of you can sneak in, if you like.) The Eslandian Crown has a deal for YOU! We are auctioning off two captured vessels: > The Clear Conscience (Class 1A) Starting at 15 DB. > Holder’s Secret (Class 2A) Starting at 25 DB. Auction ends March 12th, 12:00 noon, my time zone. Please note that you will have to MOC your rendition of these vessels before you can use them. If you do not do so by the 25th of the month, the ship will go to the next highest bidder. You will not have to pay any further licensing fees. To bid, post below! Make sure you have the DBs available! __________________Guy K. Wyndzon __________________Secretary of State

Thanks everyone for the comments! Thank you! I was really happy with how the fountain turned out as well! I had a bit of a fence on the other side of the road but had to use it down near the stables. I think if I could have left it there it would really have helped make the road a little less large looking. You may be right about the light blue background, though I sure didn't think about that until you mentioned it. Thank you! Interiors are often rather difficult to get good pictures of, which is a shame as I generally do spend a good deal of time on them! (When I include interiors, which isn't all the time.) Thank you! Oh yes. The problem is that building a to scale house in LEGO is just outrageous; I practically ran out of white bricks as it was! However, this is a bit small even by typical LEGO standards, as I'll be the first to admit! Thank you! Thanks Bregir! That's a good point about the blue, one I will keep in mind next time I use that color background. Well, actually, if you think about the size of a semi for a LEGO minifigure, the road is arguably too small. However, this was way before semis! It's still only a little too big for two carriages to pass each other; but I agree, it dwarfs the rest of the build. I made it that size more because that was the width of the white plates I used underneath than for any other reason.

I've actually been wanting to do a Ninjago themed MOC for a long time... but it keeps getting pushed back... Thanks! Thank you! I'm afraid what you see is about all you'll get of the white building... it was less than photographically presentable from certain angles! Thank you! Yep, I plan on entering! Thank you! Thanks! Thank you!

Another excellent swamp build, the reed houses are fantastic and so are those large bushes!

Quite a tough looking keep, Jakorin, the tudor section looks great and the walls have enough texture without it being too much. Good work!

That minifigure looks very well prepared for anything that might happen to meet him on the way! The ground texture is also really good, looks very bumpy and hard!- 25 replies

That leaves one share which I will buy if no one else wants it, but if anyone else is interested, don't hesitate to speak up! Go ahead and starting making transfers. Pay to MCTC, please. (Just put MCTC, not Merchant's Colonial Trading Company.) Please make sure to comment below and tell me exactly how much you've transferred and do be very careful not to go in the red! -

Really nice build, that exterior is excellent! The colors are great and that large lattice works so perfectly! It would have been nice to see a bit of furniture inside, but nice work nonetheless!
-
Very nice little build, I agree that a slightly bigger wheel would go better with the size of the rest of the building, but the inset bricks look really nice though not quite perfect maybe, but thumbup to you for giving it a go! If you could have used blue instead of tan beneath the water, I think that might have looked a touch better, but still, a very nice build!

Really pretty little cabin, Mike S, especially the way you did that roof but the texture on the walls is great as well.

[ESL - FB2 - ship] The "War Dwarf"
Kai NRG replied to Legostone's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Great ship, the blue looks really good and that brick-built Eslandian flag is excellent! -
Very creative idea with those sails! The rest of the ship really adds to the dragon-like feel as well!

Sorry guys, Phadeout is here to stay now! Looks like MCTC should be able to afford its 5 shares without needing any loans, unless we have a bad month.
