Very nice little interior scene, the pot of honey is a nice touch and I really like the slightly raised SNOT masonry bricks around the fireplace! -
That water looks fantastic! The ships are really nice too, I especially like the sails!

Thanks Bregir for the detailed critique! I really appreciate it! I'll keep this in mind for my next ship; hopefully I can do a little research and come up with something realistic looking!

Merchant's Colonial Trading Company - General Discussion
Kai NRG replied to Kai NRG's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
No problems! Congratulations, fellow MCTC members - the Heart of Eslandia is licensed! -
I haven't actually started yet... but if prices stay low, I might see a deal that I don't want to let slide!
-
I did look it up... that looks like fun indeed! The Secretary of State will have to keep that in mind! I expect things to pick up around here on Friday or so though... I at least am holding my bids back until then (what's the point of running the price up in the meantime?). For the record, I will stop bidding one minute before I close the topic; otherwise I have a rather unfair advantage.

To the outsiders, the Merchant’s Colonial Trading Company may look like a profit grubbing organization, but in reality, we’re interested in a lot more than just money. And Eslandian culture is one of those things that is high up on our priority list. That’s why, every year, we sponsor a recurring Musician’s Talent Fair. Come on over to Bardo and join in the fun! Rules: Your entry must showcase a musician performing for the Musician’s Talent Fair. Your entry must be located in Bardo (post in the Bardo settlement thread). You must provide a link to your entry below. You must submit your entry by the 25th of March, 12:00 PM, your time zone. Your entry must measure 8 studs in width and length. There is no height restriction. Your entry may only have a minimal (2 stud) overhang. Only one prize maximum will be awarded per entrant. Prizes will be paid in April, not March. We’re looking for quality, not quantity, so you may only submit a maximum of two entries. You must be a BoBS member to participate, but you can belong to any faction. Prizes: A panel of judges, including the leader of MCTC and the mayor of Bardo, will judge all entries and choose a select number of favorites to be exhibited on the front of this year’s Musician’s Talent Fair Paper. One winning entry with be awarded 20 DBs. The best MCTC entry will be awarded 20 DBs as well. Every entry chosen for the newspaper will be awarded 2 DBs.

Great. Elosterion, let us know if you've transferred 50 and then we'll be ready to license! -

50 DBs transferred for my two shares. That's 7 shares paid for. Umbra-Manis and Elosterion, please let me know when you two have transferred the DBs for your shares. (2 shares each, 50DBs each.) Since I'm there anyways, transaction form. -

The Empire of Eslandola: Sign-up and Discussion
Kai NRG replied to kabel's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
That's what I thought (about the two words being two different names); but someone else put them together. Sir Stig's suggestion seems pretty good to me. That is, I think we could come up with something better than Torrach Gruacha (or Gruagach?) (the two don't really go together super well, maybe better just Torrach), but if I can get Ferro Azure, name the other island Pato Muerto, for all I care!- 780 replies

I still prefer Ferro Azure. But we should try to pick a name fairly soon, please - for both islands. We seem to have Island 6: Ferro Azure Torrach Gruacha Island 5: ?- 780 replies

Love those trees! And that vehicle too!

Right. Well, actually, I hadn't meant to exclude Sea Rats, just didn't think they should go on the same line with everyone else and forgot to go back and add another line later. So Sea Rats, you can actually bid, if you feel so inclined.
-
Lovely! The colors here are excellent, very nice sandscape out front and the bits of green add a lot! Those golden doors are great too and I really like the little buildings lining the inside! Great to have you in Kaliphlin!
-
That's the idea. Well, it seems kind of silly to capture a pirate ship and then auction it off to the pirates.
-
Oh, I see. Because I think it's silly for someone to buy a ship and just dry dock it. If you're going to snatch it away from the next highest bidder, you need to use it!
