  1. @efferman I really dont know, it does not look fat, but what I know Unimog tires look better than Xerion tires on this vehicle
  2. It is to high, but it always depend in which country you live...
  3. @Aventador2004 I did not forgot about sprayer, but I have to make prototype sprayer parts in another colors and then order more green because I do to want to dissasble this one http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=535335 When I was thinking about yellow I meant on other maker JCB.
  4. Good model for first entry here. Wellcome to Eurobricks By my calculations this is some 1:22 model? Real AST 1X has 17.5-25 tires (1375mm in diameter)
  5. Well we both have first letter "I" in nickname on Eurobricks...
  6. Honestly moc is not bad at all, but when I ignore official set this is a year of pale telehandlers. There is only one thing to do - to finish my yellow telehandler asap...
  7. ...since this is topis dedicated to 2017 sets, I must say that 42068 b model is more interesting than official one; specially with 49.5 tires
  8. That is why I prefer classic cabovers
  9. Not a bad start at all, but I admitt cab and front nose are from aerodinamical reasons very complicated to make from LEGO
  10. The only mistake that I see is this [WIP] trial truck axel. Worlds worst at the moment. so IMHO title should be like this [WIP] trial truck axle. Worlds worst at the moment.
  11. It is not unusual that there are spare parts in your set. Problem is when parts are missing. As @Erik Leppen pointed out bricklink is very reliable source for that kind of information. You did the right thing to post your question here. Wellcome to Eurobricks
  12. @IA creations frontal picture shows that front lights look good proortioned, but I'll wait to see how you will "fill" front part of the bodywork so no gaps will be visible and there are 3 smaller air inttakes just above main one ...
  13. So far IMHO only tires are to wide...I wonder which 81.6 tire is narrow with correct (or at least acceptable tire tread pattern)? Hmmmmm perhaps one from 42000 set? Unimog tires are ideal for vehicle of that age, but you got the answer ... It would be nice if you could make flat silver or chrome silver front air intake...
  14. Headlights look ok but best way is to take photo from front and calculate proper diameter...
  15. Perhaps it is a question of prize - gears and gear racks are more expensive than liftarms and another (possible) reason is that steering with gears have more slack
  16. Very nice towbarless aircraft tractor. My favorite creation constructed by ing. Michael Bammel (I've contacted him about this AST-1X several times). My version (with twin V8 engines in scale 1:18) is on wait several years due to expensive tumbler tites. Really nice to see that someone likes the same vehicle like I do. Once again - very pleasent surprise to se AST-1X made by LEGO Technic
  17. When you were describing rear part for extinguishing arm raising/lowering
  18. Nice, perhaps it is a kind of fire plane due to red color, or just an inspiration?
  19. Very nice review @Jim, simple and nice mid size set. Actually B model looks real nice. Just one small thing - I think there is 12 tooth double bevel gear at the rear
  20. Interesting concept for front suspension For HOG steering you can use fake air filters; many mining trucks have air filters air inakes in front so this could be idea, only look after ftont of vehiche that should not be to heavy. Good progress so far
