That is the most realistic outcome for this set. We should appreciate to have another red wheels in new set -

Tire and Rim Compability
1gor replied to jgw's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have made similar thing like @Didumos69, but with BMW motorbike motocross tire (100.6mm) inside 94.8 x 44 R baloon tire and then put them both inside of CLAAS tire on wheel 56 x 34 racing medium. Result is CLAAS tire with some 110-111mm diameter and no deformation but tire is more sturdy which is eventualy good for heavier vehicles -

Yes you are absolutrly right. The thing what I'm waiting are smaller tractor tires, so I'm anxious about them... -

And for other parts, usually when building mocs there are olways few parts missing and to buy a pullback is fastest and cheapest solition to gain those parts... -

I was hoping (based on size) that fire jeep has tires from London bus, but they look to me wider I was hoping (based on size) that fire jeep has tires from London bus, but they look to me wider ...it seems (on blurry image) that truck with hovercraft has orange short curved panels like on Porsche and it looks like red wheel rechnic racing small (43.2 x 26) at the sides of hovercraft deck... -

You have point here, not all sets can be flagships indeed. About Mack licence - this is something what we could expect - company owner is Volvo... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mack_Trucks -

Or you can use emoticons...and designers do not have free hands; there is always cost efficiency in first place, so they put every year few new parts. Just imagine how they would kill creativity with perfect sets - there would be 90% percent less of those great MOCs that you Eurobrickers are posting here... -

I agree but for my project I need tire pattern as similar as possible to this one -
@BrickbyBrickTechnicthis photos are much better. Thank you. Now we can see how good your second C model is

Indeed it could be a set with highest number of 49.5 x 20 tires so far in technic lineup...and a sleeper cab could contain battery box -

Technic 2018 Set Discussion

I know it is not perfect place, but since I cannot load big enough images on my mobile phone, it looks here that we have some city version of CLAAS Xerion, but I can not see f there are tractor tires or ordimary 56 x 26 baloons. here is a link https://www.instagram.com/p/BYEZ3Hbg1Et/ I ask this because it looks like new tire for 30 x 20 wheel. If moderator want they can move it to general parts ... forum Thank you -

Tire and Rim Compability
1gor replied to jgw's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
They need to be flexible to allow tire at least a bit of compression under weight (or change on weight distribution when suspension compresses etc) -
Since your inspiration was Tigercat 610E, I see your point. That is the reason for question and not for critics because I didn't know which make/model influented you. So I can (now) say really good model

From this photos I see two things to ask (not to complain): 1. to me it seems like it would be nice to have photos with lights turned off, can you make them in some time? 2. on photos it looks to me that roof is one or two studs to low Other, very good color distribution and color contrast; very good to see moc with correct width like models on scale models subforum

Medium Size Mining Dumper
1gor replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
IMHO best way is to put blue pump above panel; it is a small truck, but it would be nice at the side of your Challenger tracked tractor (if I recognize it correctly). About small models, I have one phylosophy - small is beautiful; so I'm always trying to make model x with specific functionality as small as possible. It really looks great what you made so far. Again it is just my point of view - it is better to have small number of proper cylinders than bigger number on some kind of omprovised fake engine... -
Tire and Rim Compability
1gor replied to jgw's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I use those additional parts to support tire from inside to prevent tire deformation which is now 65mm instead of 62,4 mm in diameter...
