  1. First sample - tire from this year BMW 1200 set is ok when thickness is an issue, but totaly wrong tire pattern. CLAAS tire fits wheel fituristic. Another way is to stretch CLAAS tire, but it will result in tire with undesired shape which will look like chewed tire... There are sprayers with flotation tires...so CLAAS tires would be fine
  2. Well, well you need roof, I don't think passengers would like to be driven in convertible in any weather. Nice progress. This bus will need licence to be used when finished - it is allready huge even with 62.4 tires...
  3. Also you have topic Gearbox collection tread so you can always scroll through. Good luck
  4. Great moc. It is like baby brother (in orange) of 42069 B model
  5. Jim what to say than great review as we used to get from you, photos are great despite they are from level above and small typing errors (I made them every 5th post, and if it isnt me it is my smartphone outsmarthing me) really doesn't matter. Important is to stick to your principles and to make professional job , but set is not my favorite despite liking tractor tires...
  6. Perhaps it would be good idea to rename previus topic and add this topic first post as some kind of conclusion? Model is very original so it deserves it's own special topic
  7. Thanks Attachment with outriggers is in the box (plastic box for mostly red technic parts) because I can not make it low enough on chassis and want them to be part of attachment and not as a chassis part. So I hope to implement them on another Unimog that I've started few years ago, but did not have enough money for two additional Arocs for outriggers so model's chassis is partly finished... Thankfully now we have 42061 set, so I'll try to use them on U5023 Unimog... This one will have tilting bed and snow plow in future...currently is over 30 degrees celsius and in next days temperature will rise so no need for snow plow
  8. Update time... After some tweaking on axles and chassis, I've ended with this version which will be for longer period of time. I mean longer period because nothing lasts for ever. Chassis is 99% final version, and only thing that I have to finalize is tilting bed, so enjoy in photos (if you have time for this after reading 42070 set review by @Jim)
  9. What to add to this incredible moc? Perhaps LEGO should reconsidder and turn back the clock and make Mercedes Benz Econic like yours as B-model. There is Econic airport model line in Mercedes Benz truck production. I envy you how fast can you make models, I'm still struggling with front axle for my Unimog because there is no liftarm with 8 holes (and I do not want to cut anything...). As I allready said very well done
  10. It looks more like live axle with similar principle like front axles on Arocs with short suspension arms introduced on snowmobile and used 9l links for movement stabilizing like 6l on rock crawler. Jou'll se when @Jim make his famous review...
  11. Good phylisophy. Big model = big responsability and bad playability
  12. Since my Unimog project is at the final stage (need small tweeking on axels and tilting platform), Iveco offroad truck will be interesting because it uses portsl axles like Unimog.
  13. Thanks for info about prizes. As we write about rally car you know that economics always kills creativity, so I'll be more than happy with smaller Tractor tires in size of Unimog or Tumbler tires...but hope dies at last
  14. Jorge, Is your MOC based on tread spocket wheels from (just an example) 42069 set? How big is it? Thanks
  15. A bit offtopic; winner was one completely white model, right? But if there were no prizes (at least in written form) why content?
  16. Unusual idea but realisation is really great. I have never thought about building something like that. Very good work
  17. Hm IMHO to make a car from 42055 set is a bit dull cause of to small tires in set... Perhaps some wehicle with tracks like dozer or so would be better?! I'm not saying that you did a bad work but that set 42055 has to limited parts variety to car in that dimensions...
  18. Perhaps a rally car would be inspired by Lancia Stratos which had v6 but only rear wheel drive. Remember formula offroader set with only rear wheel drive...
  19. Well because (youngest) flying Dutchman is fourth, so review is probably on schedulle later And about your photography - you could make worst LEGO set interesting, so I'll be cautious about 42070 frpm now one, but I'm steal no fan of so many colors... Don't you know that animals have rights. Not to mention if Teddy is male, you'll have LGBT community on your back. Thankfully we are Technic community, what a relief.
  20. And now you only need a gallon of coffee to go with donuts during future reviews like here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sH9iudba8l4
  21. It looks massive, but when compared to 42070 your MOC has decent color combination and chassis is not to colorful. Despite that I found blue and white was nicer... I assume that you "spent" some 3000 parts in it (approximately).
