  1. This looks fantastic! I really like the wooden structures on top, as they make the stonework pop even more.
  2. Really nice work Garmadon...as Simon said, I really like the way you blended the plates into the wall. It really fits and makes this whole build work great!
  3. Previously: Part 7-A Minute to Think http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=120114 "Enjoying the sun Malek?" Malek sprang up from his rest, his undead heart nearly bursting from his chest. "W-W-Who goes there?" He asked hesitantly. "Don't fear Malek, I'm not here to cause you trouble...rather I can help you. My name is Kha, I once ruled Ras-El-Akhen before the Desert King came. My associates and I have been watching you and we've seen the troubles you have succumbed to based upon the suspicion and tyranny of the Desert King. We represent the High Council and its ultimate return to Kaliphlin's independent state." Malek didn't know what to say, he was a loyal Desert King man....wasn't he? Recent events have certainly clouded that. "Lord Kha, I think I would like to see the High Council as well." Malek smiled an followed Kha. *************************************************************************************** After speaking with Ageven, Kha, Aymeri and Masa, Malek joined with the Resistance. Now, he even joined the A'Shan Daes on a raid against the Desert King's territories... This is the end our To the Ax with the Tax! Collaboration. But stay tuned, as I'm sure The Resistance is not done. Will Malek be a symbol of hope to the rest of the Desert King's oppressed minions? Do Ageven, Masa, Aymeri and Kha have further plans? Who else is in The Resistance? In all seriousness, I just want to thank you all for staying tuned all week as we posted these stories. And I really want to thank Mike S., LittleJohn, SarahJoy and of course Kai NRG for letting me a part of this fun!
  4. Very nice build here....others have said, but I really like the Dark Blue in the landscape..
  5. This is a very cool build here, I really like the look of the house. But, I think the feature you added to "pull back" and see what's happening inside makes it even better!
  6. Excellent vig here! There is so much life happening in this scene, and you did a great job of capturing it!
  7. Wow, this really turned out great! I love the texture you have in those walls.
  8. Great job Mike....Malek just can't catch a break. That seems to be metaphoric of all rule under the Desert King.
  9. Nice job with both of these Kai! Thanks for heading up this collab!
  10. You know, I tried a statue once...it stunk. I could not make it feel natural, but you were able to capture that feel here! Nice shaping and pose
  11. You have really grown as a builder through your time in GoH that I have been around for! Fantastic job, and good luck in the Master Builder running!
  12. Yes, it is fixed on to the roof. It was quite a bit of odd angles for the look and to still be translucent, so I did not want to risk it falling off. And to answer gouniaf's question, the inside is a beautiful array of technic bricks, and monorail supports!
  13. I agree....those Star Wars heads were the best I could to. I though the Chima torsos were perfect for Talons. At some point here I will expiriment with decals and see if I can get halfway talented at at least making some decals for heads/torsos. Thanks for the comments!
  14. Thank you everyone! To answer the question of the size of the church, I did not actually count studs or pieces. It is build on a base of 80 x 96 studs for the overall build however.
  15. NIght of Owls 1 by Jason Hatkowski, on Flickr The Court of Owls is one of the first Arcs in the New 52 Batman by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo and by far on e of my favorite new "villains", This particular scene did not take place in any comic that I have seen, but enough was left open during the Night of the Owls to imagine many other altercations taking place! I am not a customizer, but really need to figure out how to at least make some decals so that I can do a little bit of it. The custom Red Hood is from Joker's Brick Store on Bricklink and looks fantastic. The Arsenal is completely purist, as are the Talons for the Court of Owls. 16. Hello Kaliphlin! Sorry for the looooong absence on my part. I am swamped still and cannot contribute much for this challenge. But, I will be able to get a little bit in, and this is just awesome Ska so I can't sit it out! Assign me wherever needs help. Just remember I probably won'the add a ton.
  17. Very cool Ecc! I really like the the scale of the feas hall, in addition to the "V" walkway that is reminiscent of Gondor.
  18. Marvelous stuff here! Welcome to Kali!
  19. Very cool V! The wall is fantastic, but I think the Inn itself is beautiful!
  20. Nice build here. I really like the underground rocks, and when I saw the elves with War GS...all I said was "Yes!". I think it's perfect
  21. Nice job ME. As usual a great representation of skills are evident here. I like the rockwork, but agree that the explosion doesn't pop as it could. I have had those same moments where I thought everything would come together and it never looked the same as it did in my mind! Still a great build, so be proud!
  22. Looking good Gideon! I really enjoy the rock work and the colors that you've incorporated here. The interior of the build looks a bit dark to me....of course it's underground, so no surprise there! Maybe the umbrellas will help fill in some of the shaded areas when you use them?
  23. Great job DG! I really like the curved portion of the wall and how organically you've made those bricks flow from one direction to the next. Kayne greatly enjoyed his time in Sionnach and will have to have you and the family visit Kaliphlin soon!
