  1. Wow, first of all I must give major credit to your mom! What an incredible gift, and so professionally done....amazing. Second, I must say that your builds look great all over again in the book! Merry Christmas!
  2. I also vote for #3
  3. Very cool BP! The action in here really brings the build to life
  4. This was quite a treat! the build is fantastic as is the story. i must say that some of your details are what I enjoy the most. the dead tree lying next to the swamp is but one great example of that.
  5. Very cool Mike! These are great...I really enjoy the Dwarven Canoneer, Drow Warrior and Desert Warrior. But the Avalonian descriptions almost made me fall out of my chair!
  6. Excellent build here. As others have said, that roofing technique is top notch and the round tower looks fantastic
  7. Great entries SK! I must say that I really like the Kaliphlin Royal Guard and Mitgardian Clan Leader. They both really capture the feel of the guilds to me
  8. A great addition to Sionnach! I really enjoy these builds you have, as they truly give me the feel of Avalonia. On a side note, what piece are you using for the water? Looks like an 8x8 trans light blue plate, but according to brick link those don't exist!
  9. I wondered about that. I have never used the rubber band arm trick myself. Now I know, thanks!
  10. Fantastic build here Vitreolum! I will gladly give the +1 to UoP credits. I really like the rock arches, if I had one complaint it would be that the drow's torso looks loose from the legs. ALso, congrats on the TBB Blog!
  11. Very nice entry! I agree that the rafters inside the attic look marvelous. Overall, I think the presentation here is great, both in color and in quality.
  12. This is dead on! I love the face, and the way you've made it really seem to have been around forever.
  13. My Cat. B for the Dwarves is done http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102020
  14. Getting into Avalonia was not going to be easy, but dwarves are resourceful....and a brainstorm session can yield some great ideas! Raven Darksight was contemplating how to lead a group of his Dwarven Army into Avalonia, but those elves seem to notice everything. There has to be a way in to get past those elves! Ibun, son Mim spoke up, "I got it! We all know how Elves love the forest and the trees right?" "Aye!" "Well, all we need to do is have Rowyn and Bowyn dress up like a tree. They wander over near those Elves and start yelling 'Oi, Me leaves hurt, me branches hurt! Please help!' We know that those Elves won't be able to resist helping out a tree." "Stupid Elves, they'll probably still be munching on their croissants and sniffing their flowers while rush over to help the tree too!" "Yeah, then we sneak by and we can hold some leaves to hide us!" "Yeah, stupid elves!" They all laughed as they pictured those stupid elves sniffing flowers and helping out the tree in distress. If this doesn't work, nothing will!
  15. Not sure how I missed this 2 weeks ago! Nice job, we have room for you here in Kali....my only critique would be those ugly yellow heads :)
  16. I second this! You are again putting as all to shame....glad you're on my side in this one!
  17. Simon, it is a shame for the community to lose a builder of your caliber. However, your country made a gain today for sure! I hope to see you back here again soon, because you have always been a positive member of the community who pushes others to their best with your constructive comments, and was always respectful. I know that personally, you have given me some great feedback that helped me to improve, and I've stared long and hard at many of your MOC's for inspiration. Stay safe and see you soon
  18. Very nice Vlad! I know I've said it before, but you're always welcome to a longer stay in Kali
  19. Welcome cookiesdad! Glad to have you on board here! We have so many varying climates here in Kali that any build style will do. I have far more bley than tan so I do a lot of bley building myself. I was thinking that, so I slowed down on mine a bit! I have it about 50% done, but moved it off to the side for the next month or so as I do some Challenge 3 builds.
  20. So....not sure there is anything that I would change in this! The clean build is great, it really looks like a majestic newly built throne room. The windows, the furniture it is all great. The only question I would have is also what Wat brought up...was there something else that was supposed to go there? Not that it looks bad, but just not as clean as the rest of the build. I love it, great job!
  21. Gabe, I was thinking the same thing when I looked at those sets. There are some great new color availabilities for staple parts. The purple leaf pieces may be my personal favorite!
  22. Another stunner! Out of curiosity, what is that light yellow color you have on the ground as an accent to the olive?
  23. You've been missed here DC! What a great and triumphant return today! I must say that I had given up hope on the Dark Isale Saga ever reaching completion.
  24. Great job Ces! I think the roof steals the show here with both color and style! +1 UoP!
