  1. Well, challenge 1 started last November, and we are not quite starting challenge 3 right now. I believe we are having 5 challenges this book, so I would guess you have until about December 2015 before worrying about book 3.
  2. Funny, I just turned 37 last Friday!
  3. Wow ces, just another masterpiece. Not sure what rock you were hiding under before you came to GoH, but based on your fantastic builds I would guess it was a SNOT rock with lots of detail like you show here! What a perfect way to capture that fantasy feel with a build.
  4. Wow, narbilu! You've put a ton of thought and effort into this wonderful layout. great job!
  5. Cross guild building is absolutely prohibited. According to by-lay 17-453.2 that is in clear violation of the Nocturnus Pumpkin treaty of 1947. I know of some others who build cross guilds, and I always enjoy seeing the style of a builder we know with a different feel. For instance, this build is beautiful! I am really liking what you are doing with rockwork. I have honestly been building this style of rock over and over for no reason other than to get this style down. I have not posted anything, because I am literally just trying out your rock styling!
  6. Really nice build sk! the longhouse itself is marvelous, but I really enjoy the contrasting colors of the dragon to the landscape as well.
  7. Very cool TT! The cave that the water comes out of is great, and I think the action is great. But, of course the extra work you put in to make it actually have flowing water is just great!
  8. Really nice! I agree that the water looks wonderful, and to see the Viking style combat and build for Mitgardia is wonderful!
  9. Lovely scene dG! There are so many nice little details in here, I could keep looking at it all day. I will give +1 to all 3 claims
  10. Great job ME! This build is really just stunningly massive. I wish there were more great interior builds in the lego castle world and this is why right here. Those staircases are the highlight for sure, but the balcony, doorway and support beams are just as amazing!
  11. Looks great Gideon! I really need to get back into the Kaliphlin building mode, you are really outpacing me!
  12. Very nice build. You've got clean lines, great colors and good posing, what more could you ask for? One word of advice: if you don't put a rail on that stairway, the FHA won't let you sell that property
  13. I am preety sure that is not digital. Very impressive build LL!
  14. I have really enjoyed watching these as you built and posted them. These really capture each of the characters from the Hobbit so well, and I think that the skill involved in building this style is probably underappreciated by many builders. I have not built in that style, but I imagine it is very different from traditional styles and takes a bit of rework to get the look you want. Great job!
  15. Alright, well this was a nice surprise to wake up to this morning! Very cool build, and a great addition to your storyline going on here. I really like the flow of the story, how it ties together with some of what you've been having going on, but also ties in the current political situation in Nocturnus and some of the recent events with Masa. It really makes the GoH world feel more dynamic that way. As for the build itself, my thoughts are as follows: The landscape out front of the fortress looks very Nocty and I think you did a good job of making it look bleak and dying without it being just a solid dark tan plate. The fortifications look good, especially since they are all black, you added in some textures, etc to make it not a bland wall. My two suggestions on the build would be to maybe make the wall 'thicker' in some spots. It seems to be about 1 brick wide near the door which in reality would be easy to knock down in a siege. Second, would be the door. While the door itself looks nice, I am not a fan of how it fits into the doorframe. The opening mechanism makes it stick out to far into the frame in my opinion and the opening at the top under the arch also seems a bit off. That being said, a great build and very happy to see this from you!
  16. I have some Elven settlements deep in the wither woods, but not on the river there, so I am all good with Behemoth taking that area. I also seem to recall someone being near that small lake on the river, but can't recall who
  17. I see what you did there
  18. Great stuff Sarah! I will give the +1 to both claims
  19. Looks great! Glad you came over here to GoH!
  20. Mike, congratulations! Be careful, I also said 2 was my limit. We had a girl, then a boy......then a boy and then a girl. Not sure how that happened, but my 2 turned into 4 really quick! Sarah, that turned out nice! I can relate to the feeling of being over the build. I started a build right after Challenge 2 and now have not touched it in 3 weeks. I have lost all inspiration. I think I will tear it down and start over with something different to get inspired again.
  21. Oh my gosh! I love the mushroom bikini!
  22. What a great build! I really like the way the tree turned out, but I would say the minifig combos and posing are the absolute highlight here as they are superb.
  23. Very nice! I love the ,Kali temple in Nocty grounds, and the giant Venus Fly Trap(Feed me Seymour!) looks great!
