    So the May 4th promos if you have to say spend 100 is it just normally on SW or on anything off Lego? part of me wants to hold off on anything in March until May to see what the promo is. also was it always known what set Saw was going to be with? As the usual place there are posts saying he is in the Sith infiltrator set and there are only 4 figures? I don’t know why Lego didn’t just do the Naboo ship instead still have Maul, Qui gon and a padme figure as well. But swap ships give us something unique

    I’m thinking rebel with a cause is Saw. No one can convince me otherwise (until a reveaL obviously) applying some misguided logic from the figs we know they are unique and are extremely unlikely to appear in another set, Saw has had ample opportunity for a cameo but at this point I doubt he will and he’d make perfect sense to be one. I don’t buy it being Ezra, the silhouettes hair Piece doest match Ezra’s Perfect hair for Saw

    I think not including any anniversary figures might hurt their sales but I can also see an argument for why they aren’t included. then again why does the R2 set have an anniversary figure and not all the sets coming.

    The invisible hand looks the best out of the three but midi scale ships aren’t my thing really. They look smaller than I imagined but I think that is because of the price of them.

    Thing is everyone is right but also everyone is wrong. I have never watched the clone wars don’t even know who this guy is I’ve seen the leaks, and the figure looks good to me (a casual fan). It’s also fair to be disappointed if you are more hardcore and into it but what everyone is forgetting and myself included is that it is impossible to know well and truly outside of our subreddits, Twitter pages, eurobricks forums how many like or don’t like these clones and what ever inaccuracies are perceived. I know one fact is that there are more people who don’t care that do. Said it better than when i tried to lol. I swear at this point it’s just the midi scale ships and the icons medeval village left to be revealed for march

    I feel like we are at a point where maybe we need to stop arguing and move on from this point? when will we see the midi scale ships can’t be too long now?

    In 10 years time this will be viewed as the golden age for P2 clones. We’ve lost angry clone head, 501st battle pack (as requested), P2 Cody, as requested, shock troopers, plain troopers even Ahsokas clones. Even the random purple clones. Rex, bad batch as well. I imagine over the next 2-3 years we’ll probably get more from different units maybe even more named clones. LEGO has never done perfect accurate figures if that’s what people want then good luck. It’s the sets/vehicles that Lego does with mostly decent accuracy which is what people should have legitimate complaints with the figures are always a bonus

    If people hate helmet holes and all these new clones why do people still buy the sets that’s what I don’t get. All Lego see is money from the sales. If you lot who hates these new clones actually genuinely hated them you wouldn’t buy the sets. Yet every store is sold out of all of them. you were all moaning about the gunship and the commander figure but you all probably still bought the set. Why? If the figure annoys you so much don’t buy it and Lego might if they see sales drop enough reevaluate p2 helmets. honestly there is no difference at the end of the day there are just a TOY a representation (doesn’t mean it has to be 100% accurate) of a figure from a show.

    There’s different ways to do it and look it at it. Did you like the 20th anniversary wave and figures? I didn’t like them because they were common figures that I already had. I didn’t like Harry Potter anniversary figures either because they were gold. I feel like doing something different with random characters is a good way of doing it. It does also say to me we’ll never get a cal kestis set now. These figures weren’t ever going to be in a set for those who want them then it’s great. but what do you do for an anniversary? Do you remake the classics like they did before or do You try something new? it’s never perfect but I’m just glad that they haven’t done a landspeeder or snow speeder they are trying diffeeent things. next year normal service will resume until we get to 30 years in 2029

    I know it’s speculation at this point about whether the Tantive could join another set in the future, but do I remember correctly that the Mando sets the bunker battle and bp were rumoured to be linked or suggested they could? Maybe it something Lego is looking to do to keep things fresh with some sets

    I too was hoping for slightly different face prints on the troopers. Am I right in thinking they are new prints not the same from Yavin?

    It’s the Kind of set I will wait for a big sale on I think. It’s good but when you throw in what else is coming out this year not only in SW but other themes got to prioritise

    The Hd pics for the tantive actually show play feature of Vader choking out Antilles. wonder if that’ll be replicated in the Death Star set …

    Wonder how long it’ll be until someone will turn this set in to a Rogue One moc. I like this set, it’s so bright considering most Star Wars sets are very grey I’ve seen it on a retail website but I think you can’t get any detailed pictures so o think someone’s has jumped the gun but I expect we’ll be getting an official picturessoon

    Don’t know if it’s just me does the clone trooper look like he’s got a backpack? Don’t know if it was confirmed or not. I will pick this up don’t know whether I want to wait for May the 4th promo though the fleet troopers have got printing of the chin strap on the head don’t know if the old ones had that but at least I’ll have enough fleet troopers for my Yavin yet

    No sorry meant as in Disney do a Lego Star Wars themed show every year that where the palpetine Christmas jumper and the Vader with the sand castle came from the past couple of years

    OMG haha what a typo. Definitely not Palestine. Not even going to say anything about anything about that whole conflict. i think the last two years were figures that were in a Disney plus show. So if/when we get one this year chances are could be someone from that.

    Odds are if we ever got him again it would be if he had a random role in Andor S2 or maybe if they did a remake of some rogue 1 sets but that could be years and years away (if it ever did happen)

    I’m so glad more F1 cars are getting done. just need an updated Williams and Red Bull and Torro Rosso (I’m not going to call them by their new name) im surprised it has taken so long for the Aston Martin to be done. also kind of surprised they haven’t done like a “race set” where two or three different team cars racing against each other. I am gutted I missed the last McLaren with the pit stop set so I hope one day they could update that maybe with another team

    Thrawn head on Santa body. I don’t want to debate about character popularity/prominence but the casual fan (ie those who have just watched the films) probably wouldn’t know who Ahsoka is either. it was just an innocent suggestion to who could be a villain figure to even out the calendar a bit. It’s normally a figure that has featured in a recent series/show unless there is another Lego/disney Star Wars Xmas special we don’t know of yet could be anyone. I doubt it would be Vader or Palestine as I think they’ve featured in the last 3/4 calendars

    I’m still surprised nothing has leaked yet from the March wave (except for the anniversary figures). When I saw others themes March releases getting announced/revealed at the start of the month I though SW wouldn’t be too long. I wonder if they are going to do a big reveal with these sets at one of the toy fairs that go on this time year, seeing as they are all anniversary sets. Just want to see what the Tantive boarding set looks like

    Both TBB sets were bad on a money making front. Could have done a V wing chase set for example with 2-3 members for half the price and another random vehicle encounter with the other half of the team and they would have sold more maybe. The ships were always on sale, I picked up the figures off eBay for about a third of rrp. could have subbed at least one of last years battle packs for one that was bad batched themed, but Lego went safe with 501st but they must know they are at a point where any clone bp will sell so why not go for something different like something from TBB
