For 30 dollars it’s ok. They could have gone all out with Naboo guards, shock troopers side builds but then it turns in to a 60-70 dollar set. For what the set is I’m happy with it

I thought a doorway or like a checkpoint similar to what’s in this years battle pack could have been nice

Can’t really complain about the set. For that price in these times it is what it is. May wave is ok, I’m looking forward more to the June wave more and curious about what the August ones look like. depending on May the 4th GWP If it’s good enough I’ll pick these up straight away if not I’ll wait for them to go on sale tbh. got to save up for barad dur and medieval village

I always feel when they do a wave on a film that they need to do something new or different so in a way I’m a little disappointed. A royal cruiser might have been more popular than another infiltrator. An MTT is long overdue (we might still get one maybe if there is an unknown set around the £100 mark) they could have even done an N1 and Vulture droid double pack starfighter double packs seem to be in fashion atm. I don’t want to go in to wishlisting but there is a lot they can do system scale wise with TPM maybe in another 5-7 years we might get something different

Well all of the diorama have a quote in them don’t they? A lot of them are rubbish like the Endor speed chase one. Duel of the fates what quote would they use? But also what does the build look like, which part of the dual do they show. Whilst it’s an iconic scene it think it is more suited to a system scale set just like the one we got a few years ago. But then on the minifigure front dioramas are expensive and Darth Maul is a cheap figure so I don’t think putting them in a set like that would make it sell. I mean cheap as in he has been in so many sets in various forms you can pick him up off eBay or bricklink for a very good price

Is the Barad Dur set the only set LOTR wise on the horizon? I was hoping they might try and bring out something else. There’s definitely a market for it

Nothing/nobody has said the dioramas are getting cancelled. However in the same breath I do feel like they along with the helmets and midi scale ships do take away from system scale sets. For me what these sets are they just aren’t worth the money they are good but to expensive even on sale I wouldn’t get them. Also it is 25th anniversary for TPM realistically what other scenes could they do for a diorama? Most of them are of iconic scenes with dialogue. For me TPM doesn’t have much of that at least not to make a set that would sell. Whereas AOTC and ROTS do kind of have more scenes suitable for a diorama, they aren’t going anywhere.

Damn I was wondering what other figures they could put in the magazines that kind of fit for the magazine. the more I think about the more I like the original droideka minifigure might be nostalgia talking but I know it’s clumsy compared to todays building standards I can’t make my Mind up if I like this new one of not. Definitely needs the official pics to help me decide

I doubt the dioramas are ending we’ve just got a lot of other sets in the theme coming out this year. They’ll be back next year. Unless someone else has confirmed they won’t come back I’d imagine the helmets will come back at some point. droideka looks different glad it’s a new design don’t know if I like it yet. Also kind of hoping they do it in a cheaper set at some point

The trailer for the acolyte looks interesting hoping we get some sets. Don’t know if it’s spoilery but I hope Lego actually do the proper yellow/orange light sabre blades at some point especially if a main character from this show has one

I’d love if they did a corridor scene from the Lucrehulk. Good chance for some droidekas

We only know it could be a droid carrier. Don’t know what figures, how much the threshold is to get one if there are any other promos with it. It’s the only reason I haven’t bought any of the March sets yet as it want to see if it’s worth saving up for May the forth of just get the sets now

I’m quite impressed that the May wave hasn’t leaked yet apart from the Maul and Kelleren figs. Was hoping to see some pics and hear some more about the May promos

Good list I think AOTC id like to see more separatist vehicles. For me id maybe swap obi wans red interceptor for the blue one. ROTS forgive me if I get the wrong legion but are they the galactic marines, they look like clone snow troopers I’d love a battle pack of them

I need to know what figures are coming. I think I could get away with getting one just won’t tell the Mrs how much it’ll cost but I’ve no idea where I’d display it if the dimensions are true it’s massive. That’s why I want to know the figures i might have to just buy them once released off the usual places. I do wish that they would consider a cheaper LOTR set/wave feel like that would sell better than these huge expensive sets as good as Rivendell looks I don’t have the money to buy it and I still got the fellowship from the first 2 waves of the LOTR line 12 years ago.

So I’m looking far off here. this year TPM and LSW 25th anniversary’s. safe money would be on AOTC having a 25th anniversary when that comes in a few years and safer money on a LSW 30th anniversary. so with that in mind what form does these waves take? AOTC - I hope for a remake of Yoda vs dooku duel as well as remakes for the bounty hunter pursuit and a jangle fett slave 1 (hopefully at the same scale of the recent Mando slave 1) LSW 30 - I hope they go more the 20th anniversary route. There’s a guy on instagram who has been remaking and modernising some of the original sets and I think it’d be good to get like a corridor set from the TPM when they are on the trade federation ship with the droids and droidekas surrounding them. We’re five years away so anything could happen.

It still feels early to know 95% of the years sets. The only thing we don’t know is about 1-2 sets and a few minfigueres that might appear in some. I think your timeline is right for info but it’s normally for the May/june wave we’ve been getting recently. This is why I’m a little bit cautious still with the summer sets because April was early for leaks last year which is why we were so sceptical and of course it being April fools as well, but even after being confirmed by leakers there were a lot of us who were still skeptical because of how early it was. dont get me wrong i like the sound of the sets just taking with a pinch of salt until more info comes. i want to know when we might see/hear more about the may and June waves before we get to August one. I’m strangely curious about the Droideka. I don’t know if it was speculation but I swear someone said the moff Gideon bunker and the Mando S3 bp could link up. I can’t really imagine the build for the bp at this point vehicles would make no sense so it has to be location surely.

Imo most imperial officers are generic white men, the fact they’ve got a name makes little difference to me. Most of them have the same uniform and grey cap. It might just be different head on them all and I would not be able to tell the difference between them. This is my most anticipated set of the year (Jedi bob a close 2nd only as I have a thing for Jedi starfighters). Gutted that they can’t give Cal his own set but maybe one day.

I had an issue with misprint on a clone helmet, tbf they were very good with replacing but in the same breath there shouldn't be this issue in the first place. The efficiency of it also makes me think that it is a bigger problem than i thought it was. But saying that that was my first issue in 20 years with Lego so maybe I’ve been lucky compared to others Thanks I’ve just been to shop and they are out picked up one.

Really I thought they were end of last month been looking all week no wonder there wasn’t any. Just thought they were trying to get rid of the emperor magazines before selling the new one. I looked at it right now shock trooper is still quite high imo about 8/9 on average on eBay magazine is less so I might buy a couple. Just so then I’ve got enough to fill up my gunship. Eventually when it does go on sale they might be cheaper but right now they aren’t. Even the plain troopers I’ve found are quite expensive at the moment my fingers are crossed they might come in the magazine later this year or next.

UK based people where is the best place to get the new Lego Sw magazine. I thought the shock trooper was out now but all there is in the supermarkets is still the emperor

I get that but considering I can still find the tie and x wing in some shops in my area still it’s not like there isn’t one already on sale for kids. Let’s face it there has been some form of x wing/tie fighter on the shelves since the force awakens released so it’s not like any kids haven’t had a chance to get one. Where I’m from the cost of living is ridiculous a lot of kids aren’t getting a 110 set for birthday/christmas they’ll more likely be getting a battle pack or maybe anything up to 50 price range. If kids are lucky enough to have that kind of money for Lego pretty sure some might lean more towards the Death Star playset rather than x wing/tie. that’s why I think this set has to have some top exclusive minifigures to try and boost it because considering the rest of the wave we are getting I can see this one not being popular. Well unlike a lot of the other themes we still have 2 waves of sets to come before we get to the summer wave. Tbh we haven’t had any pics from May yet just the maul figure. Still got 4/5 sets in June as well I’d rather be getting more news and pics about those before August

This tie/xwing set is what rumoured to be around 90 they do need the minifigures to be exclusive and desirable to kind of justify the price. It will have to be the rebel pilots that sell it, because we’ve got generic tie pilots, we’ve got loads of vaders in the past few years and we got enough pilot lukes. It needs something to stand out. I’ve only just got the x wing and tie that came out last couple of years so I’m not going to get the set of the figures are unique then i may pick them up off eBay or brick link
