It’s true, also one of the few downsides of having so much SW content being released these days. I can only imagine what a full Jedi fallen order, full TBB, full Andor and even a full TBOBF waves would look like. If anyone from Lego is reading this all series need the film wave treatment that new releases get. I don’t who you guys need to talk to but sort it out :)

I’m surprised there hasn’t been more TBB sets especially as we seem to be in a boom time for P2 clones. I’m partial to a V-wing, and I don’t have a turbo tank and I had my hopes on one being the big summer set this year. Maybe next year we might get a couple as remakes of v wings and turbo tanks but based on different characters like the last lot of clone related sets we’ve had in the past 3 years. honestly though I think if Lego ever intended to release anymore TBB sets for the final series March/May waves would have been the perfect logical time to release them and as we know most sets until August now I think we’ve missed an opportunity with these series for some good sets

I get it it’s a good chance to get characters not done but for me 90% of imperial officers are generic white guy in grey uniform which vast majority of casual fans would not know who’s who. I wouldn’t/ couldn’t care to tell them apart at least with Yularen he’s appeared in TCW, rebels and Andor and his white uniform is again unique to add something different to the set

Considering the new piece count for the Death Star play set im certain we are going to get a ship (certainly the same scale as the Y wing from Yavin) I reckon it’ll be Vaders Tie, as it’s the only mainstream tie variant we haven’t had in the past few years and as we are also getting a new tie in the same wave wouldn’t make sense to have a normal tie in this. I do hope this is a full on imperial set to balance the full on rebel set from last year. So realistically 12 figures max, 2-3 will be droids, Vader, Tarkin, Tie Pilot, DS gunner, 3 Stormtroopers, an imperial crew and maybe a named/unarmed officer to round it off. If Lego are feeling generous they would do Yularen but I’m not sure. the build is what I’m struggling to imagine. Is it purely internal, is it all on one level or multiple levels. Love the sound of it and I like the Yavin set. We need more of these playsets on locations/bases there is so much potential in them

I’d also put money on Ahsoka as well making an appearance at some point as well. Not sure what other figures could come for the rest of the year. Maybe a Morgan figure and probably one of the clones from one of both of last years battlepacks

I’m surprised it is 3 in a row for the magazine although didn’t we have 3 builds in a row before Christmas? Obviously the magazines are for children but I wonder if they prefer figures or those small builds. it would be the ultimate troll by Lego to out anniversary figures in magazines like that, you know considering they are putting the UCS Rex in a micro fighter this year I’d say it’s not impossible

I doubt they’d do two clones in a year so you might be safe haha. Good news is they will only ever get more expensive ( unless they come in the magazine)

That’s good, I had had my hopes on the purple clones making an appearance in the magazine but maybe might be lucky later in the year

All these random anniversary figures and our boy Saw Gerrera still can’t get a figure what else has he got to do, he’s appeared in more SW media than anyone else at this point. If we’ve got the 25th anniversary of TPM this year then AOTC must be coming in a couple of years so we might get a few sets dedicated and that may be the time we get one. If we did I would love It to be at the same scale as the one from the Mandolorian.

It’s a strange one because technically we’ll have two falcons on the shelves as we got a midi scale and the weird one. if I was a betting man I would put more money on a slave 1 from AOTC with Jango rather than another different version with Boba. I am kind of hoping these odd sets are literally a one off wave and we go back to “normal” for winter 2025

Just can’t figure out what an $80 set would look like especially just based on the Death Star. It might look silly but they could put a tie advanced the size of the one from vaders castle or one to a similar scale as the y wing. Off the top of my head I feel like there isn’t a lot of kind of rooms/locations on a Death Star that just features imperials in the film, unless there is a obi wan or Luke that hasn’t been revealed with this set

I would say our last chance of a Uwing could be with Andor S2 if they release sets to go with it. I just can’t see Lego with the amount of content that’s get made and revisiting eps I-IX every couple of years I just don’t see room for a new rogue one wave. Unless U wings appear in a future Ahsoka series or in Filonis film as like a new republic u wing otherwise I don’t know

I am warming up to the idea that this set could be an imperial counterpart to the Yavin set. What I imagined it could be like Home one set from year ago, where you have a ship (probably a Tie advanced as that’s the only one we haven’t had recently) and then a little hangar bay and maybe couple of other areas. It’s hard to think what else they could include on a Death Star set that supposedly or as far as we know doesn’t have any heroes in just Imperials. It’s such a strange price point that I am just wondering what the features are and to me the theory of having a ship of some sort is starting to make a bit of sense

I think the conference room came from someone’s wish list which turned in to a rumour was debunked then turned in to a rumour again. Think it’s just like you say Cal and Vader could literally be anything. At this point though a conference room set would sell poorly

I feel like you could do a “I hate sand” diorama to go along with the joke wave. Consisting of a few hundred yellow 1x1 studs.

Re March images it’s strange because we got images for some March sets released ages ago in other themes. so I thought we would have had everything by now. I know people say Lego are getting better at keeping leaks out but then we have just found out news about the summer wave 3 months earlier than last year I just want to see the tantive hallway set and the medieval village set as well in the icons theme

I had my hopes on a blue crossguard for his sabre just because we can kind of customise the rest. I’m glad it is that outfit (and poncho?)

What do we think Cal will have as a weapon? From the second game technically he could have 4/5 Just a lightsabre, dual wield, double bladed, cross guard or sabre and blaster I know we had the choice but I don’t know if there is a canon way now that he fights. Do you think there is any chance we might get bd1. I know there is the buildable bd already but it’s only one piece surely they could include that?

Am I the only one who thinks Mallak looks a bit silly? the accessory under his head just make the figure look goofy to me. The last figure he has was a lot better if I remember right. the clone looks good, I’m not one to get my knickers in a twist about cloths and helmet holes and dual moulding and all that so for both figures probably in the minority but oh well. I was going to buy the tantive 4 hallway even without the extra figure so it’s a bonus

A broken clock is right twice a day also you know when we were all guessing who that anniversary figure who would drive a Honda civic and beat this person in a fight. So now we know most the sets/figures who actually was the figure they were hinting at? Was it Jedi Bob?

I don’t think the Death Star is a conference room I think this has come around from Chinese whispers from someone wishing and speculating. could the buildabke creature be a rancor? It’d fit in with the barge being out and would make the most sense as a buildable creature set

I respect doing something different it does sound cool, but I do hope it’s for the anniversary of LSW and that it’s a one off, as I do feel there is so much existing SW media that hasn’t got the coverage in sets that deserve something and I would rather that prioritised over this kind of meme wave. i get this is coming from trusted leakers and that, BUT I still have my doubts it’s early for news on summer sets surely? Last year on April fools we didn’t believe it because it was on April fools and how early it was in the year. We are still like 7 months away. That’s quite early for leaks from recent memory. Also sceptical because there isn’t a clone insight

Everything apart from the Ahsoka set sounds terrible. Different but if we are getting a midi scale falcon in March do they really want a system one in the summer? it does sound like they are trying to do what they have with the marvel sets and mix it up with the venomozing of random figures and sets. if it’s true the only positive for me is am going to save so much money. Which I can put towards Barad Dur tower

I feel like we need both. A series 4 I feel like we need a flashback episode to show how Grogu got from clone wars to when Mando rescued him. I think that works better as an episode than a scene in a film. Then I think a film would be a perfect way to end their story. also I asked about S4 because they said Pedro pascal wouldn’t be in because he doesn’t need to be just the voice.
