Star Wars Minifigures vs Other Themes
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to x105Black's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Why do you think that reflects lack of a deeper knowledge of SW? To me, those are just poor choices regarding the artistic representation of a character.- 51 replies

Amazing!!! I like your approach of leaving one of the walls open. I've been following this build and it's amazing to see it finished. Great dedication! Thanks for sharing!

It looks perfect! Could you take a picture of the inside with some minifigs on the seats? That would look neat!

How to recreate this character ?
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Morangxs's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
That's a tough one. You could always make a sculpture, if you'd accept something non-purist. -
General Greivous v3
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Vader's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Goomba, if you look at the original post date, it's 2004. So it was made before that, and I don't think it's likely you'll get a response from the OP if they don't come here anymore. -
How many sets do you own?
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Jockos's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yeah, it is a tedious thing to do. I had a hard time doing it even though I keep an Excel sheet of all my sets. -
Thanks for the comparison link! Now I feel the pull to the consumerist side... Gotta get that new AT-ST...

Re-issues are usually a subject of controversy. People usually complain that the re-issue is not exactly like the original set, and sometimes that they take the space of a novel design. That has never bothered me, though.

Sure, you're welcome. Although who's to say it's not just a Zombie who is a Superman fan? -
(MOC) This IS NO CAVE!!! (Space Slug)
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Outworlder's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think it's the fact that it's a slug, and the colors in the scene are very unsaturated. I think it's meant to be unsettling. It definitely had the same effect on me.- 9 replies

I guess that's why they are so secretive. -

Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Usually the builds aren't great for Super Heroes. Mostly they serve as accessories to the incredible figures that come in the set. Which is both great and a shame at the same time...- 5,808 replies
