Anyone else got an error during checkout? I can't figure out this new website. -

Ohhhh, I see! Well hopefully if I missed it a lot of the scalpers did too. -

That's a solid purchase as well! I also considered that one. However, the shadow minifigs ended up winning me over! Good luck! -

Same here, I'm also on a low budget. I haven't really gotten anything for myself lately (aside from a figure from eBay that ended up being a fake ). That's partly why I decided to step it up a bit and get myself the battle pack, which I've always thought was pretty nice but hadn't really been pushed to buy. This seems like as good a time as any. I do hope, as well as you, that when I'm in a better position I'll be able to get some more stuff. And sure, I agree with you that we've been talking about this a lot, but I did notice that on some of the main websites the Revan promo hasn't been mentioned (Brickset omitted it, for instance). -

I've spent these last few minutes choosing what to get, so it hasn't been that bad. I also have a feeling this promo won't be too popular, since Lego has kept it low key. -

Decided to give myself a treat and get the Shadow Troopers pack instead of just getting a keychain. -

Only a few more minutes! Getting excited! -
Well, prosthetic limbs are a much easier thing to do than functional eyes. Eye nerves are very intricate and complicated. But I would agree that such technology should already exist in the Star Wars universe.

Brickshelf up, down..who knows!

That's a fair complaint. I guess it just has never bothered me enough. -
Finding common colours for a list of parts
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Legotom's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Ohhh, I see, that would be annoying. In that case it seems like Darkdragon's suggestion would work best. Otherwise you could try to wing it and just look at the parts that you know are less likely to be in the colors that you want. -
LEGO Dimensions Discussion

Hopefully those two will end up being released more widely, but Lego has already done console exclusive content in some other games, which I hate. -
Because of the geometry. In order to fit perfectly in between the two hinges, the section should have length k*sqrt(2) studs for some integer k (the number of studs along the right side of the triangle whose side is slanted), and that number is always irrational, so it can't be an exact number of studs. That is why I think it's either a little too tight or a little too loose. They probably played around with the tolerances.

Looks pretty sweet! Are all of those official Vikings shields?

The Final Duel Of Tlahuicole

The scene looks very colorful and great. You certainly made the most out of minifig pieces with body paint. I also liked the little mosaic. Oh and now I'll be off to see jungle Adventurers sets on eBay...- 1 reply

Nice! So you designed the helmets and hats on your own? One of those looks like it would work really well on a WWI German soldier. -
The Treaty of Tortillas
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to TitusV's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice scene! I was disappointed to not see Lego tortillas, though! Just kidding. By the way, nice use of the flag pieces. Good job! -
The stagecoach looks pretty good. Are you going to use anything for the "ropes" that the "driver" uses with the horses? By the way, I really like the 3 trains. The red one is my favorite!

Huaojozu, I don't usually like mixing sets either, but with Technic/Mindstorms sets I make an exception. The best way to make something work is using all the parts you have available. Just a suggestion.

LEGO Dimensions Wishlist
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to EdWebhead's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Well, I would expect them to stick to their current licenses. To me, it seems that it would be cheaper to use as many IPs from a single license as possible. I guess "unexpected" would be a better word, but I agree that it seems they are very aggressive pursuing licenses today and they get anything they want.- 235 replies

I don't get how they managed to make that 45° angle. It's not possible to get it exactly with the kind of construction they are using, at least I don't think. It must be that the 90-45-45 triangle at that size has a side that is approximately an integer so you have some wiggle room that allows you to get away with it.
