The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

The more detailed pics of these figures that I see, the more I want them. -

Yeah, neither do I, I was so sad. I watched the video to the end hoping they would say they were reconsidering it. Hopefully the reason they rejected it is because they plan to release a gingerbread house as part of the Winter Village line of sets sometime in the future. Otherwise, that's just sad... -

Thanks for the video. I found it funny that whenever talking about minidolls she said "character X in Lego form", but not so with the minifigs. Also how she ended up calling the exclusive a minifig, but I guess it just slipped. That video definitely made me more excited about TLBM sets and less about DC girls. I agree that Arkham looks good, but I want to look at the back before I can form a more solid opinion. -

If you look at the fine print on the first post, though, it says that was a false rumor. -

It does look like it has a torso with black arms. I'd doubt they would include all of that and not give him any legs. -

Does anyone know why they might have included the Spider-man figure? -

That was exactly my first thought. He does have an orange suit , so who knows maybe this is an Easter Egg? -

Too bad Krypto is too "Friendized". I don't see myself getting one anytime. Glad to know I'll be able to direct my budget to The Lego Batman Movie.- 3,020 replies

Too bad the Bat suits don't come with proper Batman heads. I'd love it if that was included as an extra. -

I think these are all solid sets. Really dig the new Batman variants, especially the Boxer Batman! Don't know if I would pay $100 for the Batcave, but it looks aesthetically pleasing, and I think it does a better job of looking like a coherent structure than some previous iterations. The new Akrham facade works really well and is probably my favorite so far. I like that we're getting all of those villains in the prison jump suits, unless we don't get them in their proper outfits elsewhere. I like the new Freeze figure, but I doubt I'll be paying for the whole set. Bring on more pics, Lego! -
Pirates of the Caribbean 5
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Cammo's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Well, you wouldn't say "dicen", rather it would be "Los Muertos no Cuentan Historias", but I agree that's just not short and catchy. Long words are both a good and a bad thing of Spanish. "Intensa Mente" is a play on words, since it sounds like "intensamente" (intensely) or Intense Mind, like you said. However, as a kid I did notice a lot of films had their titles changed to Spanish versions unnecessarily. The best translation of "inside out" is "al revés", but that just doesn't work nearly as well as the pun.- 252 replies

My wife collects both minidolls and super hero minifigs, and when I showed her the pics she felt that the minifig versions were still superior. I have to agree for the most part. I know some people will love this theme, and I'm happy for them. At the same time I'm happy that this gives me more room in my budget for the Lego Batman Movie. Thanks!- 3,020 replies

The people who mistakenly submitted multiple orders, did all of them go through with Revans? Sadly I think Lego's website error probably caused the Revans to run out faster. Could it be that some of those people are kids? I can't really explain the kind of comments I've read there... -

Hold on, I'm only counting 6 mini-dolls here. What am I missing? Are the other 3 on the prelims? If so, can someone remind me what they are?- 3,020 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors

It's still on the first post, so I'm assuming it hasn't been debunked yet, but it doesn't look like we have a concrete source for it either according to that post. -

So, they're getting downvoted, because even though they didn't get Revan either, they got something else, while some people walked away with no Revan and no replacement? That's crazy... -

I've found this to be a good rule of thumb when making a Lego budget. Give everything conservative estimates as to how much it'll cost, and add it all up. Now, multiply this times two. This is now how much the smallest set will cost. -

Don't know about the stickered parts, but if you're talking about licensed figures, do not part them out, especially if they are rare/valuable. Otherwise parting out might be a good call. -

Well, at least you have a shipping date. I don't even have one and I placed my order on midnight September 30th, so presumably I'll get it even later than yours!
