Pretty sure the Italians would protest... For Italian flavor, white should go between green and red... -

Happy to report that all axle holes in both and are perfectly aligned in the fresh batch of parts that I just received from B&P.- 5,507 replies

For me personally, no. Whenever I acquire an old 2nd hand set, I just go on BrickLink and order the corresponding paper instructions. They're typically cheap; the main cost is in the shipping (weight). Hasn't failed yet, and I've personally had no need yet for PDFs of old instructions. Just as I like handling plastic bricks, I also like handling paper booklets.

Also my 'recent' B&P order just shipped after precisely 6 weeks and 1 day. (Okay let's ignore that 1 day as I may have made the order in the evening.)- 5,507 replies

Assuming you mean 80286, it's available in the unofficial parts library at ldraw.org, maybe that helps.- 5,507 replies

You mean a limitation of the molding process? That I hadn't considered, have very little knowledge of the constraints involved. It's just that I saw people speculating about how this part could be useful for reinforcing the central tunnel of car MOCs for example, and from that I reasoned that one would probably also like to be able to run an axle through the center for drive or steering or whatever typically goes through the central tunnel. This reality seems to take some shine off the new part... although maybe I'm not thinking creatively enough.- 5,507 replies

Wait, I was expecting it to be possible to run an axle through the center over the entire length. I'm surprised by the orientation of the central pinholes...- 5,507 replies

I can recommend PV Productions, have built some of their contraptions for the Bucket Wheel Excavator and Rough Terrain Crane. Great fun with a group of friends, since the modules compose. I can see the point about them being finicky, but it's definitely an interesting build experience, with multiple funky mechanisms all driven by a single motor. From that perspective, perhaps brick vendors don't want to burn their fingers here. On the other hand, my YT channel has quite a few Lego supercar videos, but my video of one of PV Productions' GBCs has by far the most views... so popularity seems to be there.

I once ordered a bunch of hoses from here: http://blokbricks.nl/contents/en-us/d2.html Works out great... Their red pneumatic hose I used to finish my red-black Bugatti Chiron.- 5,507 replies

My point was there seems to be no differentiation. Actually, RB is allowing you to sell creations that depend on 3rd-party electronics, at least so it seems. But IMO the site terms aren't clear about publishing, free or not, mods of models from non-TLG brick companies. I wonder what would happen if you were to publish on RB instructions of arbitrary China-brick sets? (Assuming they're not using any custom molds.) https://rebrickable.com/terms/

Only in the UK, Netherlands, Germany and France. Here in Switzerland B&P is still functional and for example the new blue shock (79717) is still 7.79 CHF.- 5,507 replies
