With the huge new wheels from set 42130, will we also enter a new era of 4-wheeled speed record attempts? -

Wow are we really gonna make it till the embargo time with no leaks?! Quick search... and... nevermind, Lego's official Polish IG account seems to have posted an image, and deleted it minutes later. -

Very cute, thanks for sharing! What's the part count? I'm thinking there should be a thread dedicated to <50 part Technic models... or maybe there exists one already? -

Can you explain what's wrong? I do care about legality, but I see no problem here: there are no pin endings stuck halfway a pinhole. Or are you merely taking issue with the strength of the construction? -
Technically speaking, they're not frictionless. Yeah, I'm a literal Einstein.

Correct, the rubber continues on the inside, but I must say, it doesn't seem to add that much friction as compared to regular ball sockets. Maybe these parts are just getting old. If you want more friction from fresh rubber, try getting some new 74261. -

Notice that one can only insert an axle by 1L (but a bar can go all the way through). Another not-so-small differentiating factor is its strength, which was really the overriding concern in the Centenario use-case quoted above.- 5,507 replies

Yeah that's a rare part. It comes in 3 'patterns', search bricklink for x1192px1, x1192px2, x1192px3. I have two of the first, and can confirm they have high friction. -
Oh wow, the rear window is done with stickers on the three Lime 3x13 curved panels forming the roof. What if they had done instead the solution of the headlights on 42125: make the 3x13 curved panels in trans-black, then partially cover them in Lime print? Okay maybe I've had enough wine for tonight...

The same use-case gave us part 72008 this year, causing similar head-scratching in this forum (including me), but I'm finding it very useful in my builds already. For example, you can see a red one at 2:00 in the video below. It was really the perfect part to give the necessary strength to the side skirts while there was extremely limited space due to the door mechanisms and wheels turning in that area.- 5,507 replies
