  1. That seems to be an impossible position for the plaque support...
  2. Then look again... It actually tells you to pick the wrong part!!
  3. Casually browsing through the instructions reveals even more mistakes... Look at this unhelpful 1:1 hint... C'mon Lego, where the QC?!
  4. I hope we'll be seeing at least an update to the paper manual in the near future. That seems to be an easy fix. When the building instructions come online, I'd be disappointed if it doesn't already contain the fix.... Edit: Wait, the instructions are already online. Didn't expect to see them so soon. And to my disappointment, they're missing the black #21/22 panels....
  5. They "lost" your order? Or did they just cancel the orders with inconvenient parts?
  6. True. But for the 'Standard' parts that are available, at least the expected delivery time is "11-15 days" as opposed to the 5-6 weeks we got all of 2022 so far...
  7. Pick a Brick seems to be back in full service, at long last!
  8. Love the peek into the kitchen! Many thanks for taking the effort to write this up!
  9. Wait which country was Ferrari from again?
  10. Well one doesn't need to be a millionaire to afford the book. Perhaps it's more fair to see price as multiples of minimum wage. Germany: 8x (price 80€, minimum wage 10€/h). Switzerland: 5x (price ~105€, minimum wage* ~20€/h). *varies per canton, not federally defined Of course, I'm still complaining about the price!
  11. @Gray Gear "Cheap" was not the word I had in mind. Even worse, the Swiss price for the book is 109 CHF, which is like 105 euro (as opposed to the eurozone price of 80)....
  12. Still not the perfect parts pack. We're still missing these panels in red:
  13. Ooooh I love this kind of stuff!! Thanks for sharing!
  14. In the RacingBrick video they're unambiguously shown in the inventory (when he's searching for the black #21/22 panels).
  15. Not mentioned here yet I believe: Coming in Black in the new Ferrari (set 42143).
  16. Wow I didn't know you have the power to open up PaB again!! But seriously, it's been supposed to open up 'imminently' since a month... Each day I think I can wait another day, and then here we are...
  17. @pleegwat@LvdH Don't they get dusty in those open bins?
  18. Cannot wait for PaB to open up again!! Missing some panels to build a 2nd model....
  19. @thekoRngear First, extend the topmost gearshift axle by 1L and mount a knob gear, for example as at the top of the image below. NOTE: on both sides of the yellow knob gear you see 2 blue long pins sticking up out of the H-frame; you need those too. Then, on those 2 blue long pins, attach the following contraption with the HOG shifter: Note: don't push down this contraption too firmly onto the 2 blue long pins, otherwise the knob gears will have undue friction.
  20. The workarounds costs you 3 extra knob gears, but maintains the 90-degree stepping and works fine. I'll post some pics as soon as I get to my computer.
  21. Do you guys mean using the 5-gear differential? You do realize the red gear will collide with the HOG gear selector? (For the buggy motor version presented earlier I did find a good workaround.)
