There are Airshow Jets at least. You are right, I didn't know this one. The safest way would have been just to go for the Leonardo AW609 instead of the Bell.

I take 20 sets as my future retirement investments! Ehm I mean, you can send me these disrespectful, disgraceful sets and I will dispose them in a peaceful manner.

The difference is, that there is no civil version of the V-22. It is purely for military purpose, even if it is a transport, not a fighting vehicle. The best thing for Lego is to say: "We will consider collaborations more carefully in the future." and donate some money from the sales to UN or something. To completely drop the sale of the 42113 would be really bad... maybe sell them on their website only with an 18+ sign or something.

Great and simple base for future things to come! This also has the speed which 42109 should have had. Great job, Effe -

This really is a simple and great solution! I almost gave up on this model, but now wanna try if it works, thank you very much! -
This thing surely turned out better, than I expected. Still, I am unsure on this one... it is a great piece donor with the big wheels, panels, diffs and electronic components. But there are really major points bugging me: - steering just doesn't feel right, little LAs would have been the better option imho - no suspension :-/ - this thing has exactly the same D16J engine as the Volvo L350F (42030), they should have tried to squeeze the big green cylinder blocks in. *edit: And of course the overall shape/dimensions of the cabin and dump bed To implement a gearbox is nice, but why on a construction machine? For a motorized rally car or something, this would really be great, but here, it's not really necessary. Maybe @grohl comes up with a B-Model of a T450D with a Scraper :-)

The light&sound really got me :-) The rattling sound however is really something to work on, as it really wears out (at least the surface of) your pieces and is just unpleasant. It may sounds strange, but have you tried to gear down the movement of the motor? If the motor is too fast, the upper knob wheel will just jump from tooth to tooth (or knob to knob...) all the way and never really engages with the lower knob wheel.

[WIP] Bergmann Swivel Tip Dumper
Jundis replied to JLiu15's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
This is so funny, cause this has been my first thought for the connection :D But if it works for now, leave it. Sometimes, if the model is a little bit more "bouncy", it actually has a nice and more realistic feel than a rather stiff version. -

I really wonder why Lego are dropping B-Models when they have the king of B-models in their team ... great job Milan!- 784 replies

[WIP] Bergmann Swivel Tip Dumper
Jundis replied to JLiu15's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
You should be careful not to place the hub to far in front or the vehicle gets very nose heavy I think... Also you may even need to double the hard shock absorbers or add a soft one per side. Just be prepared :-) -

Do you mean this connection? Why should it be illegal? It's just not to pleasent to look at but don't put any more stress on the pin or the part...- 5,507 replies

Thanks for the input, guys! I will start to take I look how hard it is to make instructions. Never did that before. The cylinders, airtank, pneumatic switches and wheels alone are about 150€ :-/ Maybe I just send it to Lego Ideas, so they can bring these parts back into the program and the prices drop- 42 replies

Looks very good so far :-) Depending on the speed of the small linear actuators, you maybe have to change the transmission gears below to 20/12 combination to speed up the articlated steering. What kind of wheel are you intending to use? -

Position 3 is bad, position 4 is absolutely correct, if both angles of the yokes are the same. The main problem here is just if the yoke ears are not not aligned correctly. -

That`s my biggest concern with all the hoses... Maybe I just wait, if there is a demand. Ahhh! That's where these white airtanks come from! I didn't know :-)- 42 replies

If they would cut the teeth on the 24 gear to match 3L diameter, they wouldn't mesh at all. The pitch diameter of the 8 gear is 1L, 16 gear 2L, 18 gear 3L. You need a little bit longer teeth so they can mesh with others. In my opinion, it's one of the reasons Lego introduced 20 teeth and 12 teeth gears,- 5,507 replies

[MOC] Motor grader CAT 120M2
Jundis replied to Jundis's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thank you very much :-) In the end this mechanism seems so obvious now but I tried so many different ways to get this right, working and in the tight space. I never did an instruction, but really consider it here after all the nice feedback. Can you guys give an opinion how much work this would mean and if it is necessary at all, because this MOC used so many very high-priced pieces...?- 42 replies

Jundis replied to Jundis's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks! Graders are multipurpose vehicles, mostly to level every kind of soil, so the term precision bulldozer is quite correct :-) Bending is not a big problem, twisting is more of an issue, although the overall stability is quite good. The front axle is also stabilized by the upper liftarms. Thank you very much! The .io-file has 967 parts, although the hoses are not included. So it's roundabout 1000 parts. Yep, I used an PF L-Motor and the Small Pneumatic Pump from the Arocs. Thank you! I really wish Lego would also bring back the blue air tank I used in this model. There is no overpressure shutoff but due to the airtank I think there is no need for an overpressure valve. It run steadily while I took the photos and I had no problems.- 42 replies

I'd love to see an approach from Lego themselves. Also, the 42030 was based on the Volvo V350F from 2007 (in production till 2018), so maybe there is a slight chance they would do it. Also I am looking forward to see Lego use the 68.7 tires in future technic models.- 42 replies
