  1. The title was completely misleading for me :D Anyway: Great idea and execution, the movement somehow looks also a little bit unpredictable, which even supports the illusion of a real big bug :-)
  2. Hmm on a normal road car? Why? On the other hand: Vehicle could mean anything, I mean maybe a Claas tractor?
  3. Ok this really gets ridiculous if it's true and the dozer "only" has one smart hub and 4 motors. The 42082 had more pieces for half the price.
  4. As I did not see this here, I just want to share this pic from @Sariel using the Jeeps wheels. My question is: Why didn't they do this? Are the new wheels to smooth in contrast to balloon tires, so the pullback-action do no work properly?
  5. The idea to use the trailer as batterybox and motor is a really unique idea for a tractor this size. Reminds me of the train system with a tender :-) For this size it also has a nice look to it :-)
  6. The first bike has such a cool vibe, the frame with the axle connectors are my favorite on this one. The E-bike looks a little bland to me, but maybe because of the lack of the piston engine.
  7. Continuing the discussion from the 2021 Set Discussion thread: Without a battery box, this would be way overpriced for a set with 49.5 wheels, as we recently had the rather 42098 with 49.5 diameter wheels for the same price, which had 2493 pieces (truck, trailer and car). But I also don't think they will go for Arocs scale in this one, as it would be even higher priced. My guess is around 1200...1400 pieces (about the same as 42108) and a dumb battery box. This box has two connector ports, but my wish would rather be the use of one motor and a gearbox. We maybe only get the articulation of the boom and retractable towing platform as functions, hopefully even two more functions for back end stabilizers and winch. The term "heavy duty" can be disregarded, as it doesn't really mean a thing for TLC...
  8. I found the flaw by looking at the 42107: I used this connector instead of this...
  9. Thanks for the encouragement guys :-) Just a question concerning the wave shifter: Does it also shift very harsh when engaging two rings at the same time? With the stepper mechanism i'm intending to use, it is just impossible to shift gears. :-/
  10. I've said it and will say it again: This is just brilliant. One question: Why did you choose white 1x1 plates instead of tiles for the reversing lights? @Rudivdk In my opinion, this is worthy for hall of fame ;-)
  11. Hi guys, one year ago I started a MOC for a Mondial HPS 125 but left it unfinished with only little parts done. Now I gain inspiration once more for the TC19 and currently tinkering around adding a 4-speed gearbox and a stepper (which already used by some others for TC19 ;-) ). As this is a MOC for a real bike, I started with the look to know the dimensions for the internal gearbox, which fits nicely. Now a sturdy frame is my next step, as first assamblies are already finished in RL but need polishing. Constructive input is highly appreciated! :-)
  12. Dito. I split the model in different assemblies, e.g. main frame, cabin, axle, ... and mostly work on them in a parallel manner. When I stuck on one assambly, I switch to another to gain momentum again :D
  13. Do you really think a stand for the supercars are needed? You can build one on your own to display them in certain positions... And a road grader is perfectly fine with only 1000 pieces :D
  14. A petition surely won't make Lego question their decision (we know how it went with the 42113 Osprey, where the petition had over 4000 subscribers). The main curse of the C+/PU-System right now is the controllability/accessability in contrast to PF. What really will help is the release of the dumb battery box, which will come in future models and was already planned in the 42113. I am not sure, if they ever release a handheld controller. This thing would also have to be connected to the internet or the app so it can use presets for the models.
  15. There really is plenty of room for improvements on the 42122 and it is so cool to have a community here that tinkers around, great job! :-) Just to avoid trouble: I tried this fake engine with exactly this pins as pistons before and it didn't work that smoothly... Have you tried to build this?
  16. Review was great, as usual, thanks very much :-) I personally don't think the front is that ugly, I gotta say :D
  17. Maybe these will complement better with the panels on the side, but just an idea :-)
  18. Compared to the 42093 it's a heavy improvement, definetly a buy for me. I think it would have been hard/inconvenient to put it in, as the steering axle is goes through the center.
  19. According to JB-Spielwaren: Translation: "This year there is again something new for LEGO Technic fans: the 42122 Jeep Wrangler set! The set consists of 665 LEGO elements and is a great replica of the original Jeep Wrangler. The set includes: 665 LEGO elements Winch Front wheel steering Independent suspension License from Jeep."
  20. Do you use the "Hinge" feature? Just connect the piece to a pin and rotate it... you can send me a message if you need help :-)
  21. I just love old style machinery like this. Especially the steering system via push-rods. Just a question: On the left sided level for the steering, why did you use such a strange combination and not just 3L half beams? Also: A little colour would give this wunderful piece a nicer look I think^^ @I_Igor: Depends, if you have front wheels driven (profile is needed) or just front wheels for steering (no profile needed).
  22. A pure beauty :-) This also in exactly the scale I like for a Lego truck. Just one little detail: Can you fill the underside of the hood with a inverted curved slope like 13547 (sadly not available in blue...) or 24201?
  23. Nice parts pack. Actually I think the initial idea of the designer has been the usage of pneumatics. The dimentions for the upper main arm for example seems more fitting for small 11x1 cylinder. The forward attachment of the small LA looks a workaround solution... Also the main frame surely has enough space for a pump.
  24. This looks so useful, even I am a purist :D I think it should have a mount to fit a bigger LA. But this is tricky, as you can't couple the axle holes... are these half stud pin holes in your motor?
