[MOC] Liebherr LRB 355
Jundis replied to Aleh's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I really like the look of this machine, great job! And to use pneumatics is always a plus for me ;-) But as @1gor said, the drivetrain could be tweaked a little bit. Can you make a sketch or post the drivetrain as a .io pic? Seems like it's building up tension in the drivetrain axle and then it's suddenly released and moves 1 tread forwards... -
Technic 2023 Set Discussion

So another small scale car? :-/ Please be a Truck! The John Deere Skidder is a must for me, the Rover could be cool. Never bought a RC car vehicle before, but the Audi may be a nice one... -
[moc] multifunction truck
Jundis replied to suffocation's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Was about to write the same, great work! But I can never let you go with the "cheating" on the height of the dump bed :D And I really have to get my hands on the thin tires, I hope TLG uses them in newer trucks. -

Hmm strange they didn't add connection points... an axle hole on the tip and both in the middle of the long and the short side a pin hole would have been nice... I am already waiting for a particular B-Model :D -

Please share a video of this behemoth! I am really curious how your version is functioning :-) -
Generic Contest Discussion
Jundis replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
When can we expect the contest to start? I think I got a nice idea... *Edit: Even the model itself is the focus, can be included, that you have to describe your model a little more to get a little more context what its supposed to be? :D -

My niece and nephew got this book, which is available at least in germany. So there are still studded bricks and old school lego technic available, although not in a big set... -

Jundis replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yep, I really hope they introduce a new part here. It's maybe also put in good use for the Audi E-Tron, if it's a RC-vehicle with AWD... -
Technic 2023 Set Discussion

Last time we only had 8 sets was 2008, that year the 8295 came out and was wobbly as hell. Since then, the number had gone up rather consistently. This of course is also in correlation with the number of sets sold in whole Lego lineup. Don't get me wrong, I'd also rather have more real technic machinery and less cars, but see it in this way: Now that half the line-up is cars, we again have 8 "real" technic sets like in the "old days" :-D BTW: In 2016 we had 12 models, 5 of them were cars ;-) -

I'd like it to have the Zetros tires, too. But e.g. the 42030 had bigger tires and 1636 pieces, so nearly the same amout... could be both IMHO Same here. 10€ sets are a must, the rest only with biggg discounts. -

Same corner panel is used in trans-clear for the Headlights in the Ford GT All around, this is somehow way to simple... scale may be right, but seems to long. Could be a nice parts pack for yellow+red, but nothing really nice to the eye, bit of a let-down for me. -
42154 - 2022 Ford GT
Jundis replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Seems like the same corner panel part as in the Firefighter Aircraft, but in Trans-Clear :-) Again: Nice parts pack and the overall look is good. Basic functions steering, piston movement, rear suspension and lifting of the spoiler (compare both pics from the rear, there is a lime lever under the rear end). -

According to the Leak (Liebherr Crane isn't mentioned): 42157 Skidder John Deere 948L-II - 1492 pieces 42158 NASA Perseverance Mars Rover - 1132 pieces 42159 IP Vehicle 18+ - 1475 pieces 42160 Audi RS Q e-tron - 914 pieces 42161 Lamborghini Huracan - 806 pieces Sounds strange to me... the pieces of the last 2 cars would mean, that they are in the same size as the Q1 cars? -

Would be nice and something that hasn't been done in a while in Technic!
