  1. 42147 Dump Tuck appeared on Instagram Legoleaks... Looks official with the new small panels in Dark Blue (dump bed) and orange cab. Not what I expected... :-/ Also more blurry pics of both Monster Jam trucks and the Snow Groomer, the last one looks really cool :-)
  2. Hmm I guess so? I saw this as a comment under the "unofficial" review from Luca (Brick-a-brac)...
  3. @Technic tango Sadly I don't have time right now to tinker, but this motion could be done by a linkage system with 2 swing arms of different lengths. As one of my profs in technical mechanics once said: Nearly every movement can be replicated by a clever 4 linkage system. I used this on my Transformation Vehicle also: In your case, the links maybe should cross to gain the angle changing movement. If the caterpillar drive should lift the vehicle, you definetely need the big LAs.
  4. Looks like the 68.7 x 27 S tires are back ;-) Edit: And CV joints in DBG as foot rest!
  5. Nice illustration @Void_S ! Funny thing would be if Lego really use a brickbuild solution for the headlights like you did and not use prints, as it's the other way around on the Nascar :D
  6. The 40 teeth gear also exist in red :-P Maybe you change the 24 teeth front gear to a bigger (diameter of 4 studs) idler?
  7. @Jim As the GBC is nearly done, can you give us a glimpse of your two new ideas? :-P
  8. Hopefully you don't get me wrong and I know you put a lot of effort into your build, but I really need to write some (hopefully constructive) critique: You are using too many little parts to achieve a rather simple mechanism (swing arm) --> the less parts the better Even you don't have any constraints about the form (hatchback has plenty of room on the rear end), I'd suggest you use 2 soft springs instead of 1 hard spring. You can even use the same lower connection points right above the wheels and angle them diagonally and mount em to the center frame. This gives way more stability.
  9. Nice little tractor :-) Especially the fender looks really good! All the Lego tires are bigger than usual. We could always wish for more tires but I think can also be grateful that at least we have 3 tractor tire sizes available now :-)
  10. Luca (who made the review) said he didn't receive the set officially from TLC but got it from a retailer. I really hope PromoBricks don't get in trouble for "breaking the Lego law"...
  11. As I expect neither the 42154 Ford GT nor the 42156 Peugeot 9X8 to be RC cars, maybe we'll see one with the H2 wave. The last years RC fast models were: 42109 Top Gear Rally Car - Jan 20 42124 Off Road Buggy - Jan 21 42144 Transformation Vehicle - March 22 As both 2021 and 2022 cars were offroad, I think we can expect something roadgoing like this? All-wheel drive would be nice, too :-)
  12. Nothing to count on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tvg6XQnuFLc&t=6758s
  13. Sure, but it's been designed for heavy-duty usage in big models. Would be the same as using the wheel hubs in such a little car ;-)
  14. Sadly, no diff... see at 1:52:40 :-/
  15. Seems like Luca already got his hands on this set ;-) The official review videos of promo accounts can only show it on the 2nd of december. Luca's set "fell off the truck"... :D Edit: The working W16 engine is shown at around 52:00!
  16. Last year I think reviews for the HY1 models had been posted at the first week of December, so we are getting closer now...
  17. What a fabulous model! Great function and form! :D Jokes aside: The BMW B/C-model is really great and completely went under my radar. This really is a nice addition to the B-Model of the 42063 :-) I think it just has to do with how many models you put out with such high quality. Aside from your model and more generally speaking, I can't tell why some MOCs here in this forum just don't catch on and some others (in my opinion not so well designed ones) got many comments.
  18. Kyle, you're building to fast for us to comment on all of your models :D Great start! The flip flop beams are a real blessing considering the possibilities of interconnections.
  19. This may be the only interesting technical aspect of this car...
  20. If they wouldn't label it, you couldn't tell that it's a Bugatti Bolide. Panels are great addition, though.
  21. Cool little mower :-) The balloon tires work better here than one with tractor tread. Oh yeah, can't wait to see your approach. What wheel combination to you intend to use? :-)
  22. Better say: "Bring on H2 2023" cause H1 is a big letdown...
  23. Really? I just get the .io file when I click download... I also use adblock... If you PM me, I can send you the file directly if you want.
  24. I already mentioned this in the General Parts Discussion considering the wheels/tires used in this set: There is a Defender MOC with system 1708 pieces which uses the smaller 49 x 20 wheels, I really hope for the 62.4 wheels to return like this brilliant technic MOC from in @ArsMan064
  25. @jorgeopesi Thx buddy :-) The only change I maybe make is to shift the side panels of the dump bed one stud back and put a new panel piece in front. But these aren't available in white or standard yellow right now:
