  1. Looks good But it seems to be big for the sake of beeing big ;-) The thing I like the most is the arm with its bent but sturdy construction.
  2. Looks very good so far! I am impressed you already designed a suitable trailer :D Also I cannot believe the green 20t gear could lift cab on the front hitch. For my 8R, I am currently using 2 small LAs, but the gear would solve this issue way better!
  3. Now I wonder why Lego waited so long to introduce them into the line-up... they just look great. The thing is, the smaller 56 tires require a 0.5 stud offset to be leveled with the 81 tires. It's always a little pain in the brick. Yeah, the original bucket fits way better...
  4. Out of couriosity: are these strong enough? And if so, why not use them on the actuators?
  5. Before Jim or Milan will mention it: Maximum image size is 1024x1024 pixels ;-)
  6. :D This model could really really be my highlight of the year, plz Lego don't mess it up!
  7. Yes please :-) Just found this video. Even though not pneumatic, the scale is similar. Especially the grabber construction is really cool.
  8. Just a suggestion: The universal joint could be problematic (Kardanfehler), you could use a CV joint instead :-)
  9. @mahjqa :D @andrepinto At least post the pics here and not just links... Also it would be nice to give a little more insight in your building technique or what you'd wanted to achieve. "For me the best T-bucket." is the only explanation here...
  10. Let's assume we get some logs along with the model The 42080 had 24 out of 1003 pieces of meaning 1 per 41,79. The 42094 had 20 out of 827 pieces of meaning 1 per 41,35. So we can fairly assume we get (1492 / 41,57) = 36 pieces of wood Edit: Jokes aside, I really hope for 2 bigger log pieces done with a combination of these:
  11. So let's return: Just checked the lists of my main german sources promobricks and stonewars and there is a slight difference in some release dates for some of the upcoming 2023 models: Set No. Promobricks StoneWars 42156 May 1st May 1st <-- Pics should be coming soon? 42157 August 1st June 1st 42158 August 1st June 1st 42159 August 1st August 1st 42160 August 1st August 1st 42161 August 1st August 1st 42162 August 1st June 1st 42146 August 1st August 1st I tend to trust Promobricks more, but somehow no models in June would be a letdown... it's also really strange that the release dates are not even known by now?
  12. Functions look superb! Looking at the real model, I'd suggest to use the bigger sprockets front and rear, but this would mean a new design for the idler tension mechanism...?
  13. Really cool work! I'd really like to see it in the yellow/dark blue colour of the 42055, can you do it as digital model? Also: This should convince @Jim for a "Shrink the official model!"-contest :-P
  14. I really like the comparison you make with the MOC in the end: It shows that us moccers have way more room for error and not be critizided as much as the official TLG designers. Yes please!
  15. Pretty sure the metal will be placed inside a plastic container or even completely molded. The rumors from last year speculated about 20 weights, each 50 g. It could mean on of these configurations: or The first one would fit with 20 weight pieces.
  16. Exactly this was my question in the "Generic Building Help Topic" :D Gearing is as follows: - Rear wheel (107 mm) is geared down with 12/28 (Diff) and 8/32 (portal wheel hub). - Front Wheel (81 mm) is geared down with 12/28, 12/20 and 20/28. Speed difference is about 2..3%, while the rear wheels are a little bit faster. With a motor rpm of 330 (Control+ L-Motor) the speed is about 0.26 m/s.
  17. You really made this model way more versatile than I ever thought @M_longer !
  18. Very cool! Will follow this with great interest as I am working on a JD 8R tractor right now :-) I think the diff lock has to be on the center diff or one free spinning front wheel means complete loss of grip...?
  19. That's why I said "up to" 1 kg :P That actually is a very good and sound explanation!
  20. I actually don't think so, see my post from the last Thursday. The bigger cylinders in DGB from the 42144 fit very nicely for the gripper mechanism.
  21. I actually hoped for a height of at least 1,5 m for this prize... The 42082 has the same height with full extented arm and can lift up to 1 kg... :-/ Seems like TLG started with a way bigger model and tuned it down a notch for stability/functionality reasons.
  22. Hmm if the rumour is true, then either the price OR the piece count is off. 17 Cent per piece is more in the range of pneumatic or even rc models... *Edit: And just one year after the BMW is a really strange move.. I mean instead you could get the 42158 AND 42160, left with RC and over 500 pieces more...? 42146 Liebherr LR 13000 $449.99 2,883 August 2023 42156 Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar $199.99 1,775 May 2023 42157 Skidder John Deere 948L-II $174.99 1,492 June 2023 42158 NASA Perseverance Mars Rover $89.99 1,132 June 2023 42159 Yamaha MT 2022 $249.99 1,475 June 2023 42160 Audi RS Q e-tron $159.99 913 August 2023 42161 Lamborghini Hurrican $49.99 806 August 2023
