  1. @Dami : Thanks for this first leaked list, do you know if Brick Clicker has some credibility for leaked infos? All around, the Jan wave looks good with Monster Jam, little Dump Truck and Snowcat. According to Brickset, we had 14 technic sets 2018/2019/2020, 15 sets in 2021 and 17! sets 2022. Considering we still have the Liebherr Crane unreleased, we can hope for maybe 15...18 sets, so up to 9 summer sets :-) For only 55€, this will be a really small one.... :-/ Dito. Although the price of 200€ seems rather high in comparison: 42096 - 1580 pcs - 159,99€ 42125 - 1684 pcs - 179,99€ Maybe we'll get a bigger vehicle (Offroader, Sedan, ...)
  2. Just skipped through the video. His model had problems at raising the main arm (11:00) and the drive failed after 10 seconds outside on flat surface (21:00). But you are right, he bought a chinese copy with many failing parts in the first place. Even with replaced original lego pumps, the model didn't work...
  3. It's impressive for its size, but actually I am not convinced that such models really work well. ABS is just the limiting factor here. I remember seeing a video of a german youtuber building this thing and he had much trouble with it... Don't wanna spoil your fun, though. It is at least a really good model for your showcase :-)
  4. For this scale, it is really impressive you included all the functionalities... I wonder how stable the front axle is when in action the axle joint is only held in the upper section?
  5. Lego plz don't do it... I normally like every heavy equipment for it's purpose-build-looks. But this thing is an abomination beyond comprehension... My wishlist would be something like this: Jan 23: Polybag Firetruck - 50 pcs - 3,99€ Pulling Tractor with small tractor tires - 120 pcs - 9,99€ Monster Jam Monster Mutt - 250 pcs - 19,99€ Monster Jam Ice Cream Man - 250 pcs - 19,99€ Ferrari F40 - 500 pcs - 49,99€ GMC Hummer EV - 600 pcs - 49,99€ Mar 23: Havilland DHC 515 Firefighter Aircraft - 850 pcs - 99,99€ RC Super Truck - 800 pcs - 149,99€ DBB* CAT Grader with pneumatics - 1100 pcs - 149,99€ Logging Truck with 49,5 tires - 1300 pcs - 149,99€ RC Liebherr LR 13000 - 2882 pcs - 449,99€ August 23: RC JCB Backhoe - 1500 pcs - 189,99€ RC John Deere 9RX** with plow - 2500 pcs - 229,99€ *DBB = Dumb Battery Box ** Even though I ruled out a tracked vehicle as flagship model :DDD
  6. It actually was just a matter of time since @M_longer would come up with a B-Model :D The idea is really great and many clever linkages here and there. What I especially like is the front of the cabin, which could really be made for an A-Model! How many parts are leftover? :-)
  7. Oh man, really great work! The crane is impressive, also I find it very funny you first went with pneumatics and then changed to large LAs, I went the other way around :D Also very clever to make a sprung cabin. Love the looks!
  8. Hi @Legoman021 Can you maybe make a sketch or even post a pic of what you want to do exactly? For what I get from your question, you should try to use turntables. Depending on the wheel size, there are bigger and smaller ones available. The grey part should be attached to you chassis, the black part to you wheel. Then you use gears to interconnect the black parts to drive them simultaniously.
  9. I really liked the first (false) 2022 line-up with IP tractor and backhoe. The post was changed when the real line-up has been announced :-/ The addition of light and sound for PU would be cool, Ambulance/Fire Truck with a dumb battery box would really be good models for this function. What are your ideas for upcoming flagship models in regards to the recent years? At least the trend for IP-vehicles can be seen... 2013 - 42009 Mobile Crane MK2 2014 - 42030 Volco Wheel Loader 2015 - 42042 Arocs 2016 - 42055 BWE 2017 - 42070 Blue Tow Truck 2018 - 42082 Rough Terrain Crane 2019 - 42100 Liebherr R9800 2020 - 42114 Volvo AH60 2021 - 42131 CAT Dozer 2022/23 - Liebherr Crane I would rule out a tracked vehicle and a crane. My guess and also my hope would be agricultural/forestry vehicle or a truck combo (e.g. 42062, just in 1:21 scale with 49.5 tires)
  10. @Milan You sure like the ModelTeam building style :D @LegoV94 Did you try to use twintires on the rear axle? I know the struggle with the limited friction, if the axles are only held by the small bevel gears of the diff...
  11. Thanks! It actually just clicked when I thought about using the angular motor instead of a normal L-motor to have enough room in the middle part. The configuration of @mktechniccreationss Torion would have made things much easier, though. But I like this setup, as its something I haven't seen so far :-) Still waiting for the XL-motors to test the whole driving and steering setup... the merchant was on vacation :D
  12. Seldomly did I have such a laugh from such an unexpected model! *speaking in Vader voice*: "Join the dark side, we have free healthcare!"
  13. I am ok with manual and maybe the 81 tractor wheels :-) You are right, maybe even with detachable/interchangable body on top of a chassis?
  14. Hmm trial truck is rather unlikely because of the 42129. And with the 42124 we already got a recent rally car... Maybe some forest machinery with neon yellow accents? (just wishful thinking....)
  15. Even though the P-kinematic (parallel) should be easier than the Z-kinematic, it's hard to find the "sweet spots" where you have good range, high parallelity and matching cylinders geometrie...
  16. Great video! I really need to update from handheld phone to steady camera.... :D Did you tinker a lot with the P-kinematic of the arm? As the pneumatic cylinder is a little bit longer than in reality, I am still struggeling, but want the full movement of the real model. I am also lacking of a blueprint to see the actual connection point of the P-kinematic on the chassis. It's more trial and error in this way :-/
  17. Overall look is great on this on, too! And the pneumatic pump gives enough possibilities without a PTO. That's what I'd really wish for as a medium sized official Lego technic tractor :-)
  18. What can I say, it just looks stunning :-) I am really looking forward to the video!
  19. Love the colour! The cabin is a really nice blend and fits perfectly for this build. There are many cool details, e.g. the mirrored gear racks, which never crossed my mind while building cranes :D
  20. Why can't we be fans of both? I like yellow equipment, but sometimes a distinguished colour is just the thing that can make the model more appealing ;-) For example a Zettelmeyer from the THW:
  21. This is a cool build! I will now definately go with 2 pneumatic pumps, in combination with the tank I think it will be ok. :-) Some questions as I am really curious about your build: Is there a fake engine above the pneumatic pumps or why did you nee that much space? Also: How well does the XL motor drive this thing? Do you have a pendular rear axle? If not, did you place the front axle one stud lower still to get this kind of inwards tilt of the front section when steered?
  22. "You're a little too small and have too less functions for my taste" - *patting the green roof canopy*
  23. As we now have three different sizes of tractor tires, how about we get a TRACTOR please? :D Preferable models: A tractor with medium sized front and big tires in the back + trailer AND a backhoe with small ones in the front and medium ones in the back. ( @1gor I know, you need an intermediate diameter :-P) Also, I hope for a truck with twin tires (49.5x14) at the rear axle in the same scale as the 42098 (2019), 42112 (2020) and 42128 (2021). My favorite would be a logging truck with pneumatic crane Last years first reliable leaks about next years models came on 21th of September... hopefully we get news a little sooner this year :-)
  24. Holy moly, this thing looks good.... I am really curious about the interior an motor placement. I'll stick to a classic technic build as I am not that good with model team building style :D What is the wheel base of your model? My plan was to use 2, but I should have enough space for 3. Also I am not using Sariels Combo but a single L-Motor and a Tank, which should be fine.
  25. Thanks for the suggestion, Igor! Buwizz 3 allows for both PU+PF, and I'll still gather experience for buwizz, so I'll try :-) You are right with the motors, I'd tried to make the backend slope like the original, but maybe you config will be better suited. But only one XL for a rather heavy model seems too weak for me. Have had the bad experience with my Liebherr T264, where 1 PF XL-Motor had to be geared down very much to make it sufficiently strong for. Thank you very much! Thanks, Gerri :-) You're right, distance is 11 studs. In reality, it's nearly in the middle between the axles, but there wasn't enough space...
