  1. Nice solution, I really like the axle design. And the "Cons" aren't that bad if you think about an axle for a trailer or a trial truck, where a little play isn't that bad. Only the "wear of springs" worries me a little bit, did you test this or saw a major impact of the weakening spring tension/force?
  2. That's really sad... I hope we get a decently priced one in H2, in the price range of the 42114. (@TLG: A tractor with a trailer pleeeeeese!) Right, but I think TLG is doing rightly so, trying to prevent any leaks.
  3. @mpj Thanks for your kind words :-) I'm curious about the 42147, too :-P @Dafgek81 Here you go: https://www.file-upload.net/download-15032676/PolybagLiebherr.io.html
  4. There is only the Peugeot Racecar (maybe the Ford GT) with a price tag high enough for a C+ set. Also there are simply not enough interesting stuff in this lineup to put C+ in... But I am actually curious, what TLG would come up with as a next RC racer. The transformation vehicle was actually a new idea never done before. Maybe a RC bike? First leaks surely come out in a week or two. Even the first theme is officially revealed by LEGO (Avatar Series).
  5. Hi guys, as I didn't want to open a new topic, I'll post it here. As the 42147 is an upcoming small dump truck for 9,99€, I tried a MOC on my own of it, which is presented here. Only two functions are steering and tilting of the dump bed, but I think in this scale and with only 130 parts, nothing more is of reason :D
  6. This is really cool! Although the changing in length needs a compensation, when you flip the part upside down. Is the single upper hole an axle or a pin hole?
  7. As @kbalage already talked about the roadmap (see below), can we maybe expect a physical controller, as "New LEGO Powered Up products" are mentioned in 2023 and 2025?
  8. Orrr man I love this! Can back up everything said already, frontpaging is well deserved :D Tipping function to all sides is just great. Again, exactly the wheels I adore :-)
  9. Looks soooo cool now! Should heve been some kind of B-model for the 42145 :-) One question: Do you plan to also drive the rear rotor?
  10. Hi Grum, at first, I'd like to express my condolences. It brought a tear to the eye reading your story with your father and your experiences and adventures together. Lost my father early, so I know the struggle and the memories all brought back in such hard days of him passing away. Have you thought about building the model yourself and take your time to make it a personal experience? I am sure your Dad would be proud of a model from yours, even if there are better and more experienced builders out there, who would build a better MOC... Kind regards, Johannes
  11. I just read about the upcoming 10317 Land Rover Classic Defender as a Creator Expert model for 2023. It is rumoured that it has 2336 pieces, so about the same as the ECTO 1. But considering it's size and overall shape, my guess is, that it has to have bigger tires and not the rather small 49.5 x 20 of the ECTO 1. As the 62.4 are retired (no pun intended), I really hope Lego will go with the big 68.7 from the Batmobil, which would make the Defender look really mean. Or are there other possibilities I didn't had in mind?
  12. Thx @eric trax ! Yeah, it really surprised me it fitted so well, although a bigger opening gap couldn't be done unless a more fancy/instable mechanism is used.
  13. @suffocation & @1gor : Thanks guys :-) I'm really impressed you all like this so much, while I already thinking about disassembling it :D
  14. Really cool model! The overall shape is so great in that scale :-)
  15. Ah ok! I thought with the GBC the "big" contest is done this year ;-) So the other one is the legged/walker models? :-P
  16. Even I know the current GBC contest is up and running, will the next contest be something small/smaller/smallest/polybag? :-) I really fear we will have a very limited number of entries right now for GBC, so with a lower entry level we can get more attention and more contestants ;-)
  17. This is exactly the purpose/spirit of B-models. And the looks are superb! Great job :-)
  18. Just looked at the list again and the BatCycle could be a cool looking model and a great parts pack for bike enthusiasts. I also found this article, whicht quotes: "The engine is actually two BMW boxer motors, deconstructed and stacked on top of each other." But I don't even expect a gearbox in the Lego model as there simple is not enough room. I think the rear tire and black rims from the 10269 would fit nicely. Also black shock absorbers can be expected. I wonder if TLC will do the scaffolded frame under the seat. Source: https://bunker158.com
  19. You answer it for yourself, if it won't change anything, why put it in there? ;-)
  20. Overall look is as good as can be replicated by lego in that scale, so much details! ... Altough I'm not a Model Team guy. :-) The drive is really great here, was the programming hard to do? Kind of sad that the ripper tilt function is only manual... Did you consider skipping the rear lights but using the free port for the tilitng function? :-)
  21. Looks great! Especially the bucket is so well shaped. Did you consider implementing a HOG-steering? The 5x7 frame also exists in yellow ;-) I'd skip the center diff...
  22. Very original idea of making a set with no LA or pneumatic components into a construction machine :-)
  23. The plough is really great! I always had trouble with getting the right shape with the panels. This one looks perfect
