  1. Sorry for off topic post, curious what principle is that, I've not watched any of them myself for my own reasons. I do like these sets regardless.
  2. Finally explained in a clear concise manner that makes sense, instead of some voodoo witch doctor hope and pray potion. Thanks @Grover for taking the time to properly explain it.
  3. Well I haven't seen it yet, so I reserve judgement as of now but if everyone else likes it I probably will too.
  4. Again with the B model, laughable, I guess TLG thinks nobody cares about decent alternate builds anymore.
  5. Well now that I have finally seen the B model, I have to agree with everyone else, it's absolutely hideous, laughable even. I guess I'm okay with that though since I rarely build the B model, not that it matters or TLG gives a rats megablocks what I think. I still think it's odd they include accessories with sets that have no figures to. Pretty sure I will be getting this set, need more pneumatics and the new valve will be nice to have, wonder how many are in this set. Hopefully it's not to painful to my wallet. Thanks for posting the pictures to, glad to finally see official pics.
  6. Very cool in every aspect, the color scheme works very well. It would be nice with a fake motor but then the winch would have to go, so all in all very well done.
  7. Yeah I was going comment the same thing, then I reread it and just assumed it was Flame Bait, same as the one in the DW thread. I mean after all many pages have been dedicated to that very aspect of the James Bond Theme, thought that was already discussed Ad nauseam. Perhaps he couldn't be bothered with reading it. I do hope we hear something soon, as usual my expectations are high and I don't really care to be dissapointed. I keep adding more and more features in my head that I know won't be included.
  8. I would like to see the seven ancient wonders of the world.
  9. Is it an official LEGO or a clone knockoff brand?
  10. Yes, that is what I meant, thanks for clarifying.
  11. My point exactly, works with MOCs but imagine what the instructions would look like.
  12. Maybe so, if nothing else though, it would render the whole Twitter thing pointless, which I am sure was very well planned. I do agree though, it won't really be like a normal 3 in 1 Creator set, after all what would the other two models be.
  13. I guess you could take a representative portion of your collection, place them in a container until it's full. Then just divide the remainder by what you have in the container, the resulting number would give you the amount of containers you need. Or is that too simple? I understand it's fun to toss around numbers and find magic formulas, I just think there are too many variables to accurately figure mathematicaly. Sometimes you just have to do it.
  14. I think the main problem with all black and or grey axles would be the tendency of them to blend together with adjacent parts of similar colors in the instructions. Kind of like dark blue and black does now, at least for my old eyeballs. Of course you could always substitute axles of another color, if it's really a big deal to you. I do have quite the axle collection, as I'm sure most do, that extensively MOC.
  15. Now that I can agree with. The thing with Brickheadz, it seems people either love them or hate them. I really try to keep an open mind on it but I just don't care much for them, even at a steep discount of a character I like. They do seem to be all the rage now though and they have a near inexhaustible pool of characters to draw from.
  16. I just hope it has that extendable spinning axle thing, with the shredder bit on the end it. I think there are several LEGO elements that could represent it just fine.
  17. Well since I use axles for stuff other than just axles I would have to say the more colors the better. Depending on the color of my MOCs I like to consult the color wheel for complimentary colors.
  18. Right on, thanks looks like I will have just enough to get both sets. Strange I still haven't got that E-mail, I was just going by the July store calender.
  19. Good idea, I too will be house sitting for a week, all I have to do is keep the pool clean, feed the dogs and eat everything in the fridge. Also I get $200 in advance to spend on LEGO, needless to say I am stoked. Everyone keeps saying there is double VIP points but here it's only on two Creator sets, one of which I already have, Sunshine Surfer Van. Is it different elsewhere? I am hoping to pick up the same two sets as you anyway, are we sure of the pricing yet?
  20. Good lord, it's a kitchen table on tracks. Seriously though looks great, fantastic job and commitment. Really is very cool.
  21. I let the fingernail on my right hand pinkie finger grow out a bit longer and shape it with a file, works great for disassembling bricks and plates. I also have a stick with half of it wrapped in merino wool hide, like a feather duster but better, looks like a fluffy raccoon tail, that I use to dust my sets with. Works very well, gets in all the nooks and crannies without scratching the plastic. It does occasionally snag on greebling though so you have to be gentle.
  22. Except working steering of course.
  23. Some things, Start your own wip topic (work in progress), make a plan, acquire LEGO pieces, assembly said pieces, look at it in disgust, tear it apart, try it again. You should also familiarize your self with the site guidelines, people are more likely to offer help if you do. Check out what others have done, you may be able to borrow some ideas, ask questions. I don't think anyone will actually give you a step by step walk-through, you need to have some ideas on what you hope to accomplish. Good luck and brick on.
  24. I have been following this for some time now, as all things space related are cool and I must say this has turned out very well. Even better the instructions are offered for free personal use, hopefully they don't get "Jimbricked" anyhow is there a ballpark figure for part cost. I know there are many variables in pricing but I would like to have some idea before I take the plunge.
