  1. Yes doors, that was one of my favorite things on 60166 Heavy Duty Rescue Helicopter. Great set one of if not my favorite chopper.
  2. Ha I think it's cool for it to blow apart when it crashes. @Silvio how do you like the new electronics, what's your take on them? I only ask because I am on the fence about buying this set or getting another Tracked Racer.
  3. Not necessarily faster but you will have more power to overcome friction and or resistance to achieve top speed more quickly.
  4. If one was so inclined they could wrap the tire with some vinyl or electrical tape. Depending on how wide the tape is compared to the tread width, you should be able to tune it to get just the right amount of traction. Many would consider this to be totally unacceptable though and would likely blast anyone that would even think of actually doing it.
  5. I was going to suggest the photo album thing myself but since I have not tested it I didn't want to throw out a crazy untested idea. I do think it could work though if you found the right sort of photo album.
  6. Loads of great ideas here not much I can add, except sort in such a manner to allow for expansion and further separation of parts as you acquire more pieces. To me that is the most important aspect of any sorting process, so you don't have to continually start over that and do it as cheap as possible repurposing containers as much as possible. I also like to keep a small collection of common random parts for quick access, nothing as frustrating as spending all your time recovering parts from hundreds of small containers.
  7. I thought they did a pretty good combine in 76054 Batman Scarecrow Harvest of Fear, for its size anyway. Harvester Transport definitely sounds more like a truck to carry a harvester though or maybe the truck the combine dumps stuff into. Also as others have said could very well be a timber hauler, really like to see that too. Seems kind of silly to make a harvester transporter without an actual harvester to go with it. Regardless of what it turns out to be I do look forward to seeing it.
  8. Hmm Shuttle Transporter sounds interesting, wonder if it will be a truck or 747, I hope for the later. Could the Sunset Track Racer be another motorcycle, I actually liked the last one so much I bought three, such a good parts pack at such a reasonable price. Riverside Boathouse, one of those modular buildings I don't really like but occasionally buy on the cheap again if they have decent parts. Maybe it will fit well with the new yacht, that would be nice.
  9. Which to me means they could very well not produce any sets for a year or two then suddenly start making more sets. Not that they will or should. I do like many of Ninjago sets and buy lots of them but some of them, I just don't care for.
  10. Well I know I am not representive of most LEGO fans but I have never heard of nor seen anything at all pertaining to Overwatch until this thread surfaced. I am however quite familiar with all the subject matter you mentioned so I do have my doubts on the popularity of the Overwatch sets. So to assume they are worthy of the same attention and or new moulds just because they are similarly popular may be a stretch.
  11. That's even better, hopefully they continue for at least a few more waves now. Should be able to get some good deals on them now with price matching and other sales, something it seems like TRU or the LEGO store rarely did.
  12. I think I would like it better with the smaller wheels and some 1x1 cheese slopes on the roof, other than that good car, though not my favourite of yours.
  13. I often wonder why this conversation even comes up, most people understand price per piece is a notoriously inaccurate method of judging a sets worth, and even more so when comparing totally different sets.
  14. I keep seeing people clamoring for Atlantian Guards with Aquaman, aren't there 2 in the still available Battle for Atlantis set? Are these consider sub-par or something, what am I missing here?
  15. I also saw those sets at my local Target as well today, honestly I was a bit underwhelmed, will probably be getting them at some point anyway. They also had the app controlled Batmobile too, which actually surprised me. Happy to say also found the Speed Champions set there as well.
  16. So it looks like Target has picked up the Speed Champions line, I was in there today and they had all the new sets, except for the larger one. Good News for us SC fans that were worried of it's demise.
  17. Very nice, I have always wanted to do a car like this, I think yours has turned out really good. I need more motorcycle wheels. I can tell you put much planning into this build and the backstory makes it that much better.
  18. I have always loved, wearable Technic, don't fly too close to the sun though.
  19. I have to agree sets with 600/1200 pc count are the ones I seem to enjoy most.
  20. Also I think with this set TLG is pushing the limitations with what can be done size wise without producing numerous new elements, so for that reason alone it is a very good set, although as far as I'm concerned there are several others. I have been frantically tearing sets down in anticipation of building this set, need a bigger apartment.
  21. In case you are unaware, you can PM after 10 posts. Hope this helps, I remember reading this thread with great interest when you first started and would love to see any updated stuff or progress.
  22. It is well documented in numerous other threads that Reddish-Brown pieces are more prone to breakage than others.
  23. Or any other set you put together more than once.
  24. Others paid for the set with their own money, it was not given to them for review by TLG. They were also lucky enough to find stores selling the sets before their official release.
  25. Great idea unfortunately it would just be a ten page wishlist with very few facts and be a huge undertaking for the mods to keep on-track.
