  1. Brick Fanatics - LEGO Friends and Disney Summer 2018 Rumours
  2. Well, apparently over on Instagram (not sure if that's exactly the leak's source), there's a catalog image of a three-in-one Creator set that Classic Pirate themed, utilizing the new Joker Manor rollercoaster track in Light Bluish Grey. It looks pretty large, perhaps priced at around $60-$80, and there are seeming homages to classic Pirate sets constructed into the coaster. Just search under #legoleak on Instagram.
  3. Likely, as I can't see them releasing two rollercoaster sets under roughly the same theme within the same year. I myself was rather flabbergasted to see such a set done for the traditional Creator theme, as I presumed that a Creator Expert one was simply inevitable for the Fairground subtheme. Maybe, and if so, would that make this pirate themed rollercoaster unofficially a part of the Creator Expert Fairground subtheme?
  4. Here are a few requests that have been in the back of my head for awhile. An inverse of slope part no. 85970. Curved "macaroni" versions of parts 3045/3676 and 3675. New bow parts that mirror the slope of canopy part no. 92474 in a similar fashion to the relationship between parts 46413 and 41749 (think of the X-Men vs The Sentinel set). A few particular dual molded leg color combinations, which are (1) Bright Red with Black boots, (2) Bright Red with Dark Green boots, and (3) Earth Blue with Reddish Brown/Dark Brown boots. Why of course, since you couldn't fit a stud onto that cut-off end anyway.
  5. If anyone might be considering purchasing the City theme's flagship Mining set for that Light Bluish Grey rollercoaster track to use in your Classic Space creations, you just might want to wait a little longer. Floating around Instagram is a leaked image of an extraordinary Creator set with a plentiful amount of rollercoaster track in that color, and also, it has a heavy Classic Pirates theme to it. If that tells you anything about the future of the Creator theme... So make of it what you will, but here are also the leaked, roughly translated names of summer's line of Creator sets. 31077 Universe Surprises 31083 Ship Adventures 31084 Pirates' Rollercoaster 31085 Fallingwater Show
  6. Unless you've already seen these from the 2018 discussion topic, here are the set names and numbers for all the summer sets for the theme we know of so far. The names sound odd, but they're crude translations anyway, yet there might be something to gleam from them. 31077 Universe Surprises 31083 Ship Adventures 31084 Pirates' Rollercoaster 31085 Fallingwater Show Edit: Oh yeah, has anyone here also seen the leaked image for the Ideas Ship-In-A-Bottle set?
  7. I know Creator usually resorts to brick building animals, but I think there's potential down the road for the theme to introduce recolors of smaller, single part animal molds (dogs, skunks, rabbits, etc.), but I don't think the same will be ever done for larger, multi-part molds within the theme (horses, big cats, alligators, etc.). That, or hence its name, maybe its an Adventurers themed water ride with a large waterfall. But the names seem like such crude translations, that I think we'll just have to wait for better information to speculate upon. Or, perhaps the "Fallingwater" set is a Frank Lloyd Wright themed attraction.
  8. The Pirate Rollercoaster may be a big set, but is it the biggest? The enigmatically named 31085 Fallingwater Show* is a slot above the rollercoaster set. * I know that may not be the official name, but it sounds strange nonetheless.
  9. Over on Instagram, there's a leaked image of a summer 2018 Creator set to be released in August under the set number 31084. It's a massive pirate themed rollercoaster set made up of multiple homaged takes on Classic Pirate sets. Head on over to the 2018 Creator topic on the Special Themes subforum for additional details.
  10. Never have I seen nor was expecting a set like this from Creator. This is a sign that great things are in store for the future of the Creator theme, as this set is a most unusual, but clever homage to the Classic Pirates theme! From the way I'm reading those, how much do you want to bet these sets fall into the same Classic themed amusement park line? Universe Surprises? Ship Adventures? You know what I'm thinking...
  11. Futuristic Volvo? Now what could that ever be?
  12. Thanks! His account is private, but he had a YouTube link showcasing the images. I'd say the villains lean more toward Post-Apocalyptic/Mad Max than Steampunk (with the exception of that one Top Hat guy), but otherwise, they look incredible! The ninjas' sandy desert garb also look interesting by the way.
  13. Any suggestions for Instagram hashtags I should search under? I tried the usual #legoleak, but with no luck at least for now.
  14. But, as I was looking around that site's inventory for Lego sets using Microsoft Translator, I found that the translator badly butchers many set names in odd ways, though they weren't too off in describing the sets. If I were to focus on the "Universe" part of the translation, I wonder (and hope) if it may be suggesting that the set is a space themed one.
  15. Thanks for finding this @Brick Lover! Well, Microsoft Translator is roughly translating the name of this set as "A Universe Full of Surprises". I know the set number lines up with the rest of the Creator set numbers for 2018, but to me, this sounds like a set instead belonging to the sixtieth anniversary Building Bigger Thinking theme. Perhaps this a sixtieth anniversary set for the Creator theme?
  16. I saw those most recent images of the figure, and I must say, I now really appreciate how his new head mold resembles a traditional minifigure's head. While Lego easily could have simply topped a normal minifigure head with a new jagged Darth Maul skull cap piece, this naturally looks a lot better, but still looks consistent with a traditional minifigure design.
  17. Welcome back @Henchmen4Hire, I haven't seen you around these parts in a while!
  18. In 2019, it will after all be the theme's thirtieth anniversary, so perhaps it could be? But, like I was arguing on the Future Pirates Speculation topic, such a theme doesn't have to be a mesh of historical material and futuristic "smartphone" technology. Instead, go the direction of Steampunk/Clockpunk/DaVinci-Punk technologies instead, giving the theme a highly stylized Renaissance vibe, as opposed to, for instance, lazily sticking modern fighter jets and tanks into a medieval ninja theme.
  19. I just found the image myself, and yes, it looks incredible! But for me, the best part of this set is the return those large cylindrical quarter dome pieces in Trans. White! We haven't seen those used in that color since Paradisa, so the part will now be easier within reach for many. Maybe we'll see more people using it for awesome rocketcraft MOCs like this.
  20. Well, particularly, the 4508 Titan XP was one darn cool looking set, but if Lego adhered to those same design standards that you mentioned but applied current aesthetics and color schemes, they could make an even better set I think. Lego really could use some serious looking mecha in the Creator theme now, especially with some MOC standards applied to their construction and design.
  21. A Classic Space Hidaka-style monorail? Well, I know @LegoMonorailFan is just going to love that!
  22. Absolutely, but for me, I'd rather want to see the return of Creator's Designer subtheme, as it was such an amazing concept! Creator's current formula of three-in-one sets are fine, but more often than not, their alternate builds are usually inferior to the set's star build. Designers sets, on the other hand, were more like mega part packs.
