  1. Well, if that's the case, then that must mean that Lego would be introducing a Power Functions 2.0 this summer with Wi-Fi connectivity. Or, Lego has managed to incorporate reprogrammed Mindstorms/Boost components into a playset build.
  2. Thomas, The Really Useful Gungan Slaughtering Engine.
  3. What the... Does app enabled mean that this is an RC controlled Batmobile? Or is it something gimmicky like Nexo Knights or Ultra Agents?
  4. My dream Space theme would be for a Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon inspired one, with 1930's styled retro rocketcraft, jet packs, and ray guns.
  5. I don't believe this is going to count as a CMS exactly, probably more like a box of blind bag character builds, since that's what the show's characters mostly are from what I know. Also, I'd speculate that will be less than sixteen figures in the collection anyway.
  6. A Chinese Dragon sounds characteristic for this series, being often associated with festivities. But, on the other hand, a European one of medieval lore would be a nice treat for Castle fans.
  7. The instrumental style of Pacific Rim's score may not be my piece of cake, but I must confess, I do like it. It suits it well and it's very characteristic for the movie. Yes, I loved his scores for both Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes.
  8. The other set, 31083 [Ship Adventures], might have the same potential for what you are hoping for. Besides, I couldn't see that one being another Pirate themed set.
  9. Well I'm glad that at least four of these CMFs aren't costumed characters, as the balloon boy, girl, and clown sound like fun figures! Now I know that this Classic Policeman CMF may not be that useful to many, but I can appreciate that they are paying homage to the minifigure's beginning, especially by giving him a copy of his set. Perhaps this guy will turn out much like your own design.
  10. Oh, I was just admiring how awesome that Dark Purple works on your exclusive Mariachi design. Maybe my choice of emoticon wrongly implied what I was communicating.
  11. That's what @McWaffel said before the images hit the web, but after looking at them myself, I really don't think so. To me, it just looks like an oversaturated normal shade of green. But other than that, I really like the freight locomotive, as it doesn't look like anything we've ever seen in the City theme before.
  12. Ah, so if that is this year's passenger train, then that front part has indeed been recolored in Bright Yellow.
  13. Oh, so the predominant color is yellow and not white? Does the locomotive have that same shell and window part for the front like 2014's passenger train; and if so, has it been recolored in Bright Yellow? Turquoise, like the one seen the Downtown Diner modular?
  14. I may like the Downtown Diner, but I really wouldn't want to see any other potential Art Deco successors continue on the Miami Beach Deco look. I'd rather hope to see some more elegant Art Deco/Streamlined Moderne modulars instead, with more refined colors such as Pearl Gold, Copper Metallic, Sand Green, Olive Green, Dark Tan, and such. Something like these would be nice for instance: Tall Tower by @RoxYourBlox. Apple Square University by @RoxYourBlox.
  15. Were these images preliminaries, or finalized box art? If they were finalized, did the Gyrosphere seem like it might have been recolored, from Trans. White to Trans. Brown perhaps for a dingier look?
  16. I wonder if any of that Trans-Blue includes a canopy part. So the Milano hasn't even a hint of blue anymore? Have we seen anything like that in promo/concept art? Now I'm wondering if this is a modular. Perhaps it's a narrow 16×32 based one?
  17. I don't believe so, but I think that at the very least, Flickr users should start tagging photos of their creations with part numbers that are made of prominent usage within that build. For a period of time, I had an obsession with AFOL creations that utilized part no. 87559, and therefore started tagging creations that did use that piece where I could. I also started at the same a Flickr Gallery of creations that prominently utilized the part, but I haven't contributed to it very recently. Flickr Gallery - Digger of Bricks - Lego Creations Utilizing Part No. 88559
  18. So, I presume that the set utilizes a lot of large wall and window parts, much like 2015's Avenger Tower set? Or does it happen to have finer architectural detailing with smaller bricks, kind of like Creator Expert modulars?
  19. I do wonder how come Lego hadn't used the newly introduced large wheels from the Emerald Night for the last iteration of the Hogwarts Express, as that set had only came out a year after the Emerald Night.
  20. I've sort of got a feeling we actually might see sets for it, but then again, perhaps its too late in the game to hear of any new licensed themes for the second half of this year that we haven't heard of already. The thing is, what's cool about the sequel is that it will feature appearances by all of the Disney Princesses seen so far, with nearly all of their original voice actresses reprising their respective roles. Perhaps if we did see sets for the movie, at the very least as Juniors sets, maybe we just might see a few of those Princesses debut in minifigure form, as opposed to minidolls.
  21. As far as composers go, I have to agree with this, but in reverse. With most composers, they have particular film scores that I really love, and others that just don't do anything for me. But with John Williams, there nothing of his that I don't like, and probably the reason why he is Hollywood's household name in film composers. But yes, for me, Hans Zimmer comes in close behind at second place, as he has scored so many extraordinarily epic soundtracks that are all individually characteristic and beautiful in their own way. That's a pretty awesome list, as many of those come in at my own top twenty, such as Daft Punk's soundtrack to Tron Legacy, Zimmer's scores for both Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy and Ridley's Gladiator, and John Williams' theme to Indiana Jones. But as for my own top choice in film scores, I still love James Newton Howard's score to Peter Jackson's King Kong, which even after twelve years still moves me, especially in its final climactic scene.
  22. I was thinking more in the vein of mecha from anime like Mobile Suit Gundam or movies such as Pacific Rim (2013), as opposed to the usual minifigure piloted mecha with typically canopied cockpits. But we will be getting something close to the prior example this year with the Ideas Voltron set.
  23. That Dark Purple...
