  1. So it's a System construct. Thanks! Now even though the box doesn't mention the Arkham Knight videogame, does it look like the Batmobile from that game? Or, perhaps is it based upon another design, original or inspired?
  2. So, do you know if this is either a Technic or System construct?
  3. I do wonder if this Nightmare Before Christmas set will be the first in a line of one off sets done for various past Disney movies. After all, the Disney Princess theme had simply been rebranded as just Disney starting in 2017, so that name change alone might suggest that the theme is open to a lot more than just minidoll based Disney Princess sets. At least I hope so. Don't worry, I'm pretty sure Lego will prioritize Beauty and the Beast for the second CMS whenever it may come around, as 2017's live action remake was a pretty big success for Disney.
  4. Also, new "Surly" styled tires!
  5. Wow, I really love the two hovercar designs you've incorporated into this display! I have to ask though, what is the part you used for the roof of the hover-taxi, and also the parts used as guards on the front "wheels" for the Earth Blue hovercar?
  6. So, this guy is riding a bicycle, not a dirt bike/motorcycle? It just seems weird to have a mountain biker, at the very least, wearing such a clunky helmet. If it is a bicycle he's riding, does it look like the usual one we've had for all these years, or perhaps something new?
  7. As far as licensed themes go, I have two particular wishes. The first would be for a System based Thomas the Tank Engine theme, as both the original stories and their television adaptations were a cornerstone of my childhood. The second would be for a line of sets based upon my all time favorite movie, Peter Jackson's King Kong from 2005. I know that both the character and the franchise have moved on to WB's Monsterverse, but still, Jackson's take on both the story and character are still the best for me. Also, as far as recent movies go, I'm hoping we will see Pacific Rim come to Lego in near future, as the film's Jaegers and Kaiju would make for some incredible set material.
  8. Yeah, and I forgot Goofy too. No, I didn't intend for that list to be a plausible wishlist, as the lineup isn't diverse enough for a real CMS and it includes some live-action characters. The 2016 Disney Series 1 seemed to set a precedent for characters only from animated movies. Also, two of the entries are from a rather obscure, forgotten movie, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, which I'm never realistically expecting to see Lego address any time soon.
  9. Okay, that's alright, as the two designs you've previewed are amazing enough already.
  10. OK, I just love that caroler! With his recolor of both Jay's scarf and Penguin's hat, and his Earth Green overcoat with Dark Red vest, I really want to see Lego do this design just like it is! I know I've asked this already about previous series, but are there any Sci-Fi and/or Steampunk CMFs in store?
  11. I've never seem a monocycle quite like this one, a pretty novel idea I must say. Hey, perhaps you've might have just started a new sci-fi MOC trend here. By the way, I like how you did the air tanks on the monocycle's pilot.
  12. I love how the slope pieces on the rear of this speeder come to a point with that 1×1 Nexo Knights "prism" piece.
  13. My choices were, in order of first to last group... The S10 Roman Commander, the S11 Sax Player, the S15 Animal Control, and the S6 Classic Alien.
  14. I think Zimmer did a great job on the overall score for Man of Steel, but I felt somewhat underwhelmed by the film's (and in turn, Superman's for the DCEU) unofficial theme song, An Ideal of Hope. It has such an exciting buildup, but it seems to fall flat at its high point, at least for me. As for Danny Elfman's Batman theme, it is for the character what John William's theme is to Superman. But between Elfman's theme and James Newton Howard/Hans Zimmer's for Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, I think I can definitely agree that Howard and Zimmer's is far more epic.
  15. This is only a rough sort of wishlist, but, if I were to create a list of eighteen characters I'd hope to see as CMFs for a second Disney Collectable Minifigure series, they would be... The Rocketeer, from the 1991 film. Tron, from the original 1982 movie. Woody, from the Toy Story franchise. Bo Peep, from the same above mentioned movies. Snow White, from the 1937 namesake classic. The Evil Queen/Witch, also from the same above mentioned film. Hercules, from his namesake animated movie. Hades, the main antagonist in Hercules. Tarzan, from the movie of the same name. Milo Thatch, from 2001's Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Princess Kida (a.k.a. Kidagakash Nedakh), also from Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Princess Aurora, from 1959's Sleeping Beauty. Prince Phillip, also from Sleeping Beauty. Rapunzel, from 2010's Tangled. Flynn Rider (a.k.a Eugene Fitzherbert), also from Tangled. Ralph, from 2012's Wreck-It Ralph. Fix-It Felix, also from Wreck-It Ralph. Merida, from Pixar's Brave. If such sets were ever to happen, I'd definitely expect Ralph to be a Bigfig. I'd just hope that they don't stick a nose on his figure like Maui's Bigfig.
  16. Automobile Hood Ornament Gender: Female. Occupation/print on torso: Metallic Silver torso printed with Streamlined Art Deco breastplate motifs. Type of headgear: S15 Flying Warrior's helmet recolored in Metallic Silver. Type of facial expression: Faint smile with closed eyes. Color on torso/legs: Metallic Silver printed with continuation of torso's Streamlined Art Deco motif prints. Accessory: New Streamlined Art Deco styled wing parts in Metallic Silver clipped onto 1×1 clips, studded onto a 1×2 neck bracket in matching color.
  17. For the Third 2017 Review, I feel the Pop-up Book is the most plausible candidate for approval, as it seems to be this review's most novel project. But, I'm personally hoping we will see the Jaguar E Type get green lighted. * * Since they are seemingly too similar too the Old Fishing Store, I'm pretty sure RobenAnne's three projects won't be considered, even though it would be great if they could.
  18. I think this is a perfect length, and I dig the shaping the arches and bows achieve on this.
  19. Well, perhaps it wouldn't necessarily be a D2C, but one that is distributed on a retail wide basis beyond just brand stores, much like 2017's 75187 BB-8.
  20. The Signal, who is apparently Batman's daytime counterpart, is a pretty new character who would be cool to see as a minifigure. If we did, he'd probably don the short eared cowl recolored in Bright Yellow with prints, much like Lego did with Adam West Batman's cowl. Edit: Oh yeah, such a figure could also potentially give us dual molded Black legs with Bright Yellow boots.
  21. Well, if that may be the case, then a large, UCS scaled model could make sense for a RC set. Presumably, I would guess such a set would be Technic constructed as opposed to System constructed for the sake of weight.
  22. Oh, really? I was under the impression this whole time that it was the same set, based upon this post: Hmm, I could see Batwing being the "other Batman".
  23. Ace the Bat Hound? Cool! But, what's up with the build description? Is this "side car type thing" a side build to the Arkham Batmobile, or is the Batmobile being described there as such?
