  1. Here is the second trailer for Tomb Raider, coming to theaters this March.
  2. With about less than a year and a half to go before this film's May 2019 release date, we should be expecting our first plot synopsis and casting announcements very soon for this movie, possibly alongside our first details for The Lego Movie's sequel. Until then, here is what we know of so far: The film will be directed by The Book of Life director Jorge Gutierrez, as reported by Variety back in August. As for plot details, writer Drew Pierce gave us a rough idea three years ago back in July 2015. Nerd Report - Details On The Fourth Lego Sequel "The Billion Brick Race"
  3. In lieu of an official minifigure of It's Pennywise (for the record, I would never actually want to see happen), a clown hairpiece with a receding hairline in a style like that of 2017's Pennywise would be interesting to see. Perhaps we could see a new clown CMF don a new hairpiece takes after that look. Speaking of receding hairlines, a hairpiece similar to Larry's of The Three Stooges would also be fun to see. Definitely both of these, especially the first one! This. I'd definitely would go several years without any new hairpieces to have preexisting ones catch up in their color variety, as there seem to be so many useful new molds that are seen again for many years.
  4. I'm not sure if these have been suggested on this topic before, but three licensed franchises that I think could make for some great CMS lines would be for Warner Brother's Looney Tunes, the Hanna Barbera franchise, and Universal Classic Monsters.
  5. Ah, okay, I didn't know that. Then that begs the question, which year does Lego consider to be the theme's official release year? Would it be its first overall appearance on store shelves, or perhaps its European release year instead? More specifically, is 2018 or 2019 the theme's official 40th anniversary?
  6. Both Zod and Jor-El are my two most desired CMFs for this series, but between the two, I guess I prefer Jor-El over Zod, primarily for that figure's Metallic Silver recolor of the S7 Galaxy Patrol's armor part.
  7. A most excruciatingly thorough review, and an excellent job as always! As with every series, I always find that every CMF has something useful to offer for repurposing, even if I don't care for a particular figure. As for this series, Jor-El and Zod are the only characters I care about as a whole, while Killer Moth is on my radar exclusively for that Pearl Gold retro raygun of his. Because of that, I really appreciate that picture you took of him paired with the S17 Retro Space Hero. Speaking of that, I'm not sure if you are taking requests, but perhaps could you take a picture of the S17 Retro Space Hero directly holding Killer Moth's gold raygun? Also, do you have a minifigure of Zod from 2013's Man of Steel sets? I was wondering how that minifigure's head would look on this CMS's Zod figure.
  8. I love that Art Deco promotional poster!
  9. Ditto! Isn't this year, 2018, the theme's 40th anniversary though?
  10. Hey, it's really great to see you back @spaceman76, and with another good old Classic Spaceship! Not only do I really like the Galaxy Explorer like footprint on this spacecraft, one particular detail about them that's cool are the usage of those 4×4 bowed roof parts, which give the seeming appearance of embedded fuel tanks. I also like how you tipped off the ends of the wings with those 1×2 half prism pieces.
  11. Space Marine Gender: Female. Occupation/print on torso: Dark Red torso with Titanium Metallic segmented armor prints, Classic Space logo on the upper left side of the torso. Also, S7 Galaxy Patrol's armor piece recolored in Dark Red, with same Classic Space logos on its pauldrons, slipped on over the torso. Type of headgear: S7 Galaxy Patrol's helmet recolored in Dark Red. Type of facial expression: Determined, observant look with single eyed optical apparatus on one side, Bright Green HUD covering entire face on opposite side with similar expression, minus the optical apparatus. Color on torso/legs: Dark Red with continuation of Titanium Metallic armor prints. Accessory: Two ADU guns recolored in Titanium Metallic.
  12. They are still up on Instagram user mp_minifigureworld's page, though he only has their front profile pictures, including that of Rinzler/Tron which I hadn't seen before myself.
  13. I wonder if we might see any Winnie the Pooh related products/sets for either the second half of this year or early 2019, to tie in with the live action Christopher Robin movie starring Ewan McGregor releasing this August. Perhaps we at least could see some Brickheadz based upon the animated classic like we did during the release of the live action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast back in March last year. Screen Rant - Disney's Live-Action Christopher Robin Movie Gets a Synopsis
  14. Here are official synopses for both Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 and Christopher Robin. Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 - Release Date: Nov 21, 2018 Disney’s Christopher Robin - Release Date: Aug 3, 2018
  15. Unlike what had been described earlier, the cargo locomotive is definitely not Dark Turquoise. But, does the yellow on the Passenger Train look like to anyone to be "Flame Yellowish Orange", instead of typical Bright Yellow?
  16. Wow. With a vehicle like the Batmissile, this is probably one of your best creations to help showcase your compact minifigure scale constructions, as Batman can even fit in a build like this. Blown away once again!
  17. I'm surprised that we haven't seen nor heard of any leaks for the Juniors sets for this film, as it's going to be hitting theatres in June. For Juniors sets, what sort of figure quality would you guys be expecting from these, perhaps compared to what we saw for Mr. Incredible's CMF?
  18. I could see this happening, much like with the second film coming out this November. Perhaps the sequence of release will go like this - A licensed series (Disney Series 2 perhaps) in January 2020, Series 20 the following May, and HP Series 2 in September of that year.
  19. Here's an official image released for July's Ant-Man and the Wasp, showing both characters' new suits. I'll just say, I really like Wasp's helmet design, as it sort of reminds of the helmets donned by the main characters in Big Hero 6.
  20. We have heard of an earlier rumor elsewhere about at least an upgrade of the current PF system. There is rumored a new RC Batmobile set to be released this summer that is said to be "app controlled", hence hinting at a possible update of at least the PF system's receiver components, that or at least utilization of Boost components elsewhere.
  21. If that were to be the case, then I hope such a CMS arrives in 2020 and not 2019. With 2019, the sequel to The Lego Movie will be hitting theaters in February 2019, while The Billion Brick Race is still slatted for May of that year, so both will have a presumed CMS released around the same time. With that, September will be the only available slot for another CMS, and it would be a shame if we didn't get a regular one for 2019 if a second HP series were to be released that month instead.
  22. The team at LEGO Ideas is hosting a "Gift-With-Purchase" contest of their own, but this time, it is specifically SPACE based! Here is the quoted and linked blog post below, with many questions answered about the contest in the blog post's comments at the link. LEGO Ideas - New Contest: LEGO Moments in Space
  23. I've edited my initial description for the Little Mermaid set idea I proposed earlier, after realizing that both Ariel and King Triton could use the new mermaid tail piece introduced on the Mer-Bat CMF instead of the usual minifigure leg height tail part. Even though both of those movies aren't part of the Disney Princess pantheon, I could even see those two ideas being done as minidoll sets, even though I'd prefer if they were minifigure based instead. Sure, whenever you feel like you are satisfied with the final result, whether it be on this topic or an MOC topic of your own!
  24. Over on Instagram under #legoleak, there are now some clear front, side, and back profile pictures of both Sam and Quora's minifigures, and it appears that they both have their Identity Discs printed on.
  25. Mountie Gender: Male. Occupation/print on torso: Bright Red Canadian Mounted Police jacket, with Dark Brown belt cinched center chest with accompanying diagonal one across the chest. Metals printed on the upper right side of the torso too. Type of headgear: Hat design no. 98279 in Brick Yellow. Type of facial expression: Confident smile. Color on torso/legs: Dual molded Black legs with Dark Brown boots. Accessory: None.
