  1. A very enlightening review of 21136 The Ocean Monument from a part oriented point of view. New Elementary - The (Ocean) Monumental Parts Pack
  2. Damn, it does look good! I was so ready for disappointment, but hey, it did after all come with two cycles! I'm still trying to figure out how the wheels are constructed, but I do see that both cycles incorporate transparent 4×4 radar dishes with printing, which looks great! By the way, is that katana of Quora's transparent?
  3. Perhaps there's a line of sets on the horizon that resemble this playset from Mega Construx's Pro Builder theme: Mega Construx | ProBuilder - Space Rover Expedition
  4. That's a really fun little build! Immediately, the first thing I noticed is how you used the Trans-Orange ski for body of that micro spaceship. I also dig your microscale ice rover!
  5. Steampunk Catamarans by redfern1950's Golden by Tony Knaak Ray Gun by redfern1950s2 Here's another "SHIP" I discovered recently that might inspire you. M-47 Bushmaster by Matt Rowntree Here are three other rayguns by Tyler: And, a few more Steampunk submersibles from Markus:
  6. You do bring up a pretty good point regarding the closing of Toys 'R' Us; but, I wouldn't want to see the theme end though as a result. Like I suggested earlier, I'd rather want to see the theme incorporated into a revived Racers line as a subtheme of it. Oh yeah, Tiny Turbos! Now there's a subtheme that was quite prominent within the Racers theme, and one that we really haven't seen any real successor for ever since. I suppose we do see little four-wide car sets done for the standard Creator theme every now and then, but a dedicated line of them would be fun to see again. Hey, if Racers were to ever come back, how about having Tiny Turbos revived as an annual blind bag series, perhaps with boxed sets featuring twelve cars per series priced at US $4.99 apiece?
  7. It certainly was the first thing that caught my eye, as its construction which utilizes tan colored "brick bricks" is pretty novel, not to mention how that allows for the placement of small skylights too. Also, that complementary little cargo bicycle is really cute!
  8. Mercury Mk. 2 Ray Gun by Tyler Clites Space Helmet by Lego Designer Mike Psiaki Haakon VII's Royal Transport Vessel by Stephen Slelter USS Marlin by Markus Ronge Flying Saucers by redfern1950s
  9. Hmm, interesting. Should we expect an announcement soon? Hey, it would be really cool if it turned out to be Indiana Jones.
  10. Something we've seen before in LEGO Dimensions perhaps?
  11. Does anyone wish to see Adam Strange as a minifigure someday? I never heard of the character until recently, when I read how he was suppose to play a part in SyFy's upcoming Krypton TV series. After seeing pictures of his comic counterpart, it's pretty obvious why I would want him as a minifigure.
  12. You're very welcome! Certainly, I'm so glad @Bricksmith highlighted you, as you've done some incredible work! Streamlined steam locomotives are my absolute favorite! These two of yours I just love, especially the Earth Green one!
  13. Indeed, I just love his Streamliners! Thank you @Murdoch17!
  14. Tron Light Cycle by Joe Perez The Batcave: Part 1 and The Batcave: Part 2 by @Xenomurphy (Part of a developing series) UCS Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice Batmobile by @tfcrafter
  15. True, they certainly are pushing the envelope with City recently.
  16. All of those are just brilliant! The bumblebee striped seats in the Mini Copper are great!
  17. Something on the horizon perhaps? There have been a lot of Space X projects on LEGO Ideas recently.
  18. It would be amazing if we eventually saw a 1940's gangster train holdup playset; but, I don't think the City theme may ever support anything not set within the present day. Maybe someday in the far future perhaps?
  19. A few more to share: #5544 T1 Duplex 4-4-4-4 by @SavaTheAggie ST100 Planetary Express by Frost LNER Peppercorn A1 "Tornado" by Michael Gale
  20. Honestly, why did they have to counter the "too grim" argument with a suit design that was on the way opposite end of the (color) spectrum? Couldn't they find something that sat in between those extremes, kinda like how Superman's suit settled on a moderate hue of blue for Justice League?
  21. Damn, these are simply incredible! I've seen the blurrier catalog preliminaries from awhile ago, but you really can't appreciate these sets without the clearer focus (obviously). At least I can't complain about that aspect, as these kinda are the closest thing we've seen so far to Ice Planet 2002! Yes, that and the choice of Dark Azure for the crew's outfits!
  22. Dang, you've got a really impressive selection here, I'm still taking in all the little construction detailing!
  23. With the Fantastic Beasts franchise, the 1920's/1930's attire prints are always welcome. Hopefully we may see more characters from both films seen so far in the CMS.
  24. Impressive! Your Inside Out like approach to the inner workings of her mind is really clever too!
