  1. From what we've seen in leaks, your hopes are correct on all three counts. Sam does also have hair, Quora has only her hair, and Tron (a.k.a. Rinzler) has a face, but it's a rather generic stock print.
  2. So, no one likes the idea I'd previously suggested, having the Islanders be the protagonists of the theme?
  3. Here are a few other examples, this time actually constructed from bricks! Fantasy Era plus Adventurers? What would that look like? Or, just throw us a Creator/Creator Expert set based upon any one of those themes every now and then, just like @danth had previously suggested.
  4. How about a Space Tourism subtheme?
  5. Does anyone think an espionage/secret agent theme could work for City? Naturally, such a subtheme would lack the Sci-Fi element seen in standalone espionage action themes (Alpha Team, Agents, Ultra Agents), but it would also have to exclude firearms too.
  6. Does anyone think that a minidoll Space theme would work with a Retrofuturistic, Flash Gordon style? You know, something with rocketcraft that look something along the lines of this, for instance?
  7. My thing is definitely Art Deco/Art Nouveau, but only when their color schemes take on a color palette of a darker yet rich nature. I'm not at all adverse to Miami Beach Art Deco, but I typically look for architectural creations of a more Gotham-esque, "Dark-Deco" look. But, regardless of architectural style, I'm a sucker for any modular with an awesome color scheme, something like most of @RoxYourBlox or @lookl's work. Anything with Dark Red, Earth Green, Olive Green, Earth Blue, Pearl Gold, Dark Azure, or such in combination or predominance usually works great!
  8. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Given all the talk about this being a such hilarious action/adventure comedy, I didn't find myself splitting at the seams with laughter as much as many made this movie out to be. Perhaps I set my expectations too high for it in those respects as a result, but still, at least I though it was a cute movie. Plus, I really liked its twist ending.
  9. Anymore than $29.99 in the United States would just be plain ridiculous. This has to be no more than three hundred parts from the looks of it, right?
  10. I know! How about White, Dark Azure, and Trans-yellow, as a lighter hued nod to Classic Space?
  11. Alright, thanks! I'd imagine if you did interview anyone, it wouldn't be Mike again. Right?
  12. Aesthetically, what would spaceships look like/take after in such a theme? In a cliché way, I'd imagine they be of a rounded, spherical design, but I definitely don't think they'd be of a sharp, angular one.
  13. For a standalone minidoll Space theme, I think a storyline centered around a girl growing up as a planetary colonist would be cool. Her friends would be other children of both human colonists and the planet's native population, where they partake in exploring the planet's many strange and exotic environments. As cool and fitting as that may sound, would most girls really get into Mecha, at least a theme centered around it?
  14. Many people said that about those ring pieces when those two sets were unveiled, but honestly, I don't think they could have effectively cut it. As big as they are, the printed 2×2 tiles work pretty good for a preexisting solution.
  15. While I think that a Space based subtheme of Friends could plausibly happen sometime here, what about a separate minidoll Space theme? Do you think a standalone Sci-Fi minidoll line could work? I'd love to see the return of Adventurers, but instead done in either a modern or retrofuturistic context (the latter one preferably, with a Dieselpunk vibe).
  16. It really does!
  17. But, their helmets in particular do have one major difference, and that is that Adam's crest is swept back, while the S17 Retro Space Hero has a forward leaning crest. Also, there's not really a proper preexisting part that can be used for a dual jetpack, unless Lego could pull off constructing a decent looking one out of smaller bricks and a neck bracket.
  18. Personally, I thought the original submission was a rather cluttered mess. The finalized set's take on the Lightcycle looks a lot cleaner, much like the original source material. Just compare the submission model to what was seen in the film:
  19. Snow White Cottage by @cesbrick Lite Cycles by Grantmasters Mach 5 by marchette36 Whoa, talk about Architectural Marvels! Oh, what, Spider-Man? I guess I missed him.
  20. Also, they all seem to be donning some very burdensome Identity Discs.
