  1. Rewatched Tron: Legacy for the first time in quite awhile, and found that it still relatively holds up.
  2. Anyone have a clue as to what this may turn out to be? The Brick Fan - New LEGO Tencent Video Game Launching September 19
  3. I believe he may be referencing the Sky-Fi themed work of JonHall18 and Fredoichi I shared on the previous page of this discussion topic:
  4. Well, it looks like Bricklink (in collaboration with The Lego Group) will be hosting an Ideas-like opportunity in a few days from now... Bricklink - Your design can become a limited edition 60 Years Anniversary set!
  5. Hey @WhiteFang, I kinda think we should frontpage this... Bricklink - Your design can become a limited edition 60 Years Anniversary set!
  6. For as eye-boggling as that main build may be, one little touch I particularly dig is the usage of those Trans-Light Blue "tusks" for the shuttle's contrails.
  7. Cowboys and Aliens from 2011 with Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde. For such a goofy premise, this film surprisingly makes it work out, and even sets aside a lot of time for side character development beyond the main characters' development. The only thing I think this movie could've used without is Olivia Wilde's character arc, as that ironically was the part I found rather silly. It was a fair sequel, but a somewhat pointless one I felt. Besides missing J.J. Abrams' touch that he gave the prior two, it's rather annoying that they skip over a good chunk of the Enterprise's five year mission only to be focused upon Starfleet melodrama once again. I mean, come on, where's the space exploration?
  8. I was presuming that at this point in the game, we were all pretty certain that this theme is simply going to be that reported iCreate jewelry line, given its price range and all.
  9. I second this!
  10. Star Trek Beyond from 2016.
  11. Wow, I really wasn't expecting a main build that would be that Modular-esque...
  12. Possibly because Lego isn't making use of the theme to its fullest potential, if you know what I mean.
  13. The windscreen is just plain-old Trans-Black again, right?
  14. Honestly, instead of an all-new product line/theme, I don't see why Lego couldn't just give us some smaller, generic steam engines under the Creator theme as Three-In-One sets as opposed to Expert/Advanced ones. I mean, if a British L-Gauge locomotive and coach build like 2009's Emerald Night retails for $99.99, then a single tank engine or shunter diesel build without a coach/car should cost a whole lot less. If Lego were to release a new model railroading centric line, I'd personally name it something along the lines of, say, LEGO Railways, kinda simplistic and broad like the City theme somewhat.
  15. Though I do sorta want to see an Adventurers themed banner, one that represents nearly all of Lego's action/adventure themes so far would be much more prefered. I've stated this on another topic before, but I think that a Heroes vs. Villains visual setup would be rather cool to see.
  16. For those interested, check out New Elementary's two-part interview with LEGO set designer Marcos Bessa on the BrickHeadz theme: New Elementary - LEGO® BRICKHEADZ: MARCOS BESSA INTERVIEW PART 1 | New Elementary - LEGO® BRICKHEADZ: MARCOS BESSA INTERVIEW PART 2
  17. Jon Hall (the creator of those builds) did submit one of his more popular fighter creations as a project over on LEGO Ideas years ago back when it was still CUUSOO, and it did gain a bit of headway before expiring: LEGO Ideas - The Spirit of Freedom But yeah, they're warplanes, whether they'd be fantastical or not; but I'd still love to see the Sky-Fi genre officially represented somehow in the near future. The microscale Sky-Fi warplanes of Fredoichi aren't that bad either:
  18. Here's @Ashnflash's latest CMS draft collaboration with @just2good... ...and a custom PS4 SpiderMan CMS too!
  19. Thank you @Phil-B259 so very much for joining Eurobricks as so put this inquiry to rest; for as sad as it may be to hear, it is a great peace of mind for me personally. Do you have any sources you can cite by the way for further reading?
  20. ...like my personal favorites, the work of Vincent Gashod and the Sky-Fi fan theme!
  21. Well, there's plenty more from where that came from... Pinterest - Retro Rocketcraft For one, those "ears" on Sweet Mayhem's helmet make that connection pretty apparent.
  22. Watched Disney's John Carter from 2012 last night, and found that it wasn't that half-bad. For what may of confused me or couldn't easily follow as far as it's storyline goes, most of that was pretty much made up for by its striking aesthetic which I really did appreciate. Looking back in retrospect to its predecessor, I guess I did like it somewhat better than the first Jurassic World, for reasons I can't quite express at the moment. Granted, it's pretty apparent at this point that this trilogy is taking the same route as Disney's current sequel trilogy to Star Wars, with a sort of reinventive, homage-based reboot approach that I have somewhat mixed feelings about.
  23. Oh yeah, it's totally that crest and teardrop shape that are evoking that "Raypunk" spacecraft vibe, something I too was naturally beyond thrilled with!
  24. Unless I'm getting my hopes way too up, I'm personally expecting something akin to LEGO Ideas in a way, as it does sound enigmatically promising...
