  1. Since this topic is now officially inclusive of Castle/Medieval MOCs (), here are a few currently active LEGO Ideas projects (which may or may not have been featured here) that are worth checking out: Black Falcon's Fortress by @Mark of Falworth Medieval Inn by DominikQN Medieval Village - Road Construction by oms5134
  2. I find Cole's Earth Driller to be the most impressive set of this wave, with the scaled-down Samurai Mech coming in at a very close second. P.S. Would be great if LEGO extended this "Legacy" approach to other themes as well.
  3. I know, and I'm still annoyed by it all.
  4. Whoa, I wasn't at all expecting there to be decals/prints on this set.
  5. If we were to expect, for instance, Superman-centric sets after this change, I'd presume his insignia would stand in place of Batman's if Batman weren't present in such sets. I mean, there better be Batman-less sets after this... Oh, and for that matter, how will cinematic sets be handled?
  6. OK, I find the text-less branding of these sets bizarre, as they're both denoted by only the classic Bat-Insignia. Has that ever been done before for any other Lego theme? Could these still be considered DC Comics Super Heroes sets, with others heroes denoted by their own insignia on other future sets they're the star of?

  8. From what we've seen so far, I'm really digging the F40 and that five-wide '67 Mini! Now, while it is cool to see yet another Camaro set from this theme, I still prefer the look and construction of 2016's road version from the double pack. '80s Guy? Are you talking about the Series 17 Yuppie?
  9. For me, if I were to submit a project to LEGO Ideas, I'd physically build the model without taking into regard its color choices purely for the sake of measuring its feasibility in strength. Then, I'd digitally render the build in the colors/recolors I'd wish to see introduced in the finalized product.
  10. Check out this new project submitted just today by redera00: LEGO Ideas - Auto Union Type C Racecar
  11. While you're all waiting for the pictures of next year's modular, I just saw some images (which I'm not sure whether they're official or not) posted by Instagram user mp.legonews of 80101 Chinese New Year's Eve Dinner, which is an interior-based set of a modular standard of design quality. Looks pretty nice if you ask me!
  12. Although this is only somewhat pertinent to this topic, I figured I'd share @Ashnflash's latest custom CMS, based exclusively on Disney's Wreck-It Ralph in time for the sequel's theatrical release:
  13. Screen Rant - The LEGO Movie Will Stream For Free On YouTube For Black Friday
  14. Well, I hope we'll see the mold recolored in Green and Light Bluish Grey to accommodate the past two additions to the Classic Spaceman rooster. If that "fist-ship" goes by the name of Rexcelsior, than a ship by a different name shouldn't be the same vessel. If anything, the "Rexplorer" may be Rexcelsior's shuttlecraft. Can we get an AMEN for this from anybody else here?! Hmmm, well, given the nature of this sequel, I think a Purple Classic Spaceman seems more likely than other possibilities as a potential CMF. Paging @Itaria No Shintaku, paging @Itaria No Shintaku...
  15. I'd imagine we could see a non-damaged, Bright Blue Classic Spaceman with the new helmet in a potential promotional set outside of the The Lego Movie's line of sets. Other possibilities could include a commemorative CMF, or perhaps within a Creator Three-in-One set (I wish).
  16. I could see a Bright Red Classic Spaceman with the new helmet someday appearing as a commemorative CMF (similar to the Series 18 Classic Policeman CMF), perhaps with a 2 by 3 tile printed with the LL928 Galaxy Explorer's box art. At the 1:31 mark of the trailer, you can see that it has a LL928-like spoiler. Yes, but do dig its dual Trans-Light Blue X-Wing canopy recolors!
  17. I'd hope for the mid-engined C8, but General Motors has yet to unveil it themselves. Point being, I think 2020 (at the very least) would be more likely of a year to see that model come to the playtheme.
  18. Here's an architectural LEGO Ideas project submitted just today that isn't a modular: LEGO Ideas - 'Everholm': A Modern House by JoshFromLL Ah, okay! I was afraid that Flickr had backtracked on that limit of 500 to only a hundred.
  19. Well, did you intend to only limit each of your galleries at 100 photos apiece, or could you only save no more than a hundred? But, the advantage to renders for LEGO Ideas submissions is that one isn't hindered by Lego's preexisting color inventory.
  20. Oh, and by the way, Bricky_Brick also has an Instagram account I wasn't previously aware of; How come do you have two galleries? Since its recent update, Flickr now allows for 500 photos per gallery up from an initial limit of 50 photos per gallery.
  21. Here's a screenshot by the way:
  22. Does anyone figure that we could see this as a set for the presumed second wave?
