  1. I'd kinda like to see them revisit the Raid Zeppelin and Misfortune's Keep sets from 2016, maybe fleshing them out a little better. Plus, Cole's Boulder Blaster was a rather cool looking set; perhaps they could give it the same makeover treatment as they did with his Earth Driller this year.
  2. Perhaps this could be viable as a People Pack; but honestly, I think they should just go for an all-out Studios subtheme for City.
  3. Same here! Those are definitely the highlight of this build for me! Keep up the extraordinary work @Giacinto Consiglio!
  4. The Subacorr by Jeff Cross Galaxy Interdictor by AFOL anon Quantum X by faraday81 Well, for me, I particularly dig its Dieselpunk-esque grill/intake and those swoopy side wings.
  5. Switch Swiper and Voc Vighter by Jay Bramhall Bentley Interceptor by GunnBuilding The SL-9 Loggerhead by JS_Ninjnerd Oh, by the way, you've already featured this one here a few posts back. Say, I really like uniform color for these guys, excluding the white that is! Oh yeah, that beast there is as groovy as heck!!!
  6. Rewatched Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim last night again. Still infinitely better than its supposed sequel.
  7. Hey, now we know better, as the purported garage modular from that inventory list did turn out to be true after all! So, if we can presume the same for its purported Ford Mustang...
  8. I'm not the biggest fan of "costumed" CMF archetypes, but this figure kinda shows me how I'd maybe be a little more forgiving of them if they had just a little more printed detailing (much like the earlier Banana Juice Bar guy). In this case, the scarf make for a lovely touch on what would otherwise I'd find to be a rather bland figure. Would you consider the Series 1 Spaceman and the Series 6 Intergalactic Girl a couple?
  9. I presume his crystal ball is a transparent Technic ball joint studded atop a round 1×1 plate?
  10. Most heartily agreed! For that matter, we really need a good outlet for period-based attire and fashions for minifigures, something even the Collectable Minifigure line hasn't given us enough of. Now, if the City theme wasn't limited to the modern era... Oh, but back to leather bib coats, this one figure probably has the closest thing to that:
  11. I've never seen a wall built like that before... ...now I want to see more of what's behind it! Indeed! Also, he built this hotel modular that, while still not the greatest of creations, makes some nice usage of Earth Green arch bows, which I'm always a sucker for!
  12. Blacktron BT-56 Ravager and LL-824 Paladin Escort Starfighter by Rob (Agaethon) VV-18 by @Nabii Royal Sky Marines Steam Zeppelin by Flo (brickmonkey.com) You're quite welcome! It is quite the swooshable spacecraft isn't it? Speaking of creepy Sci-Fi/Horror builders, this guy's stuff always unsettles me...
  13. Not as likely as more modern variants, but a Golden Age incarnation of Superman would be cool to see.
  14. Well, World of Warcraft was what many fans thought/hoped Nexo Knights was going to be more like.
  15. Huh, I hadn't thought of looking at antique motorcyclist jackets in my search, as I've been mostly researching vintage aviator outerwear. Well, looking under a few different decades, I do see what you're talking about: Yeah, and that's the thing. While I can see some definite inspiration in those double breasted motorcyclist jackets, I still haven't found any historical precedent for the bibbed, double breasted leather jacket. Perhaps there isn't, and the design was created for the Rocketeer character? Of course, SpiderMan Noir!
  16. This may not be the most exquisite of builds compared to so much of everything else featured here, but I do sort of like it's front profile at least. City Public Library by emo Lego Most indeed! Looks like a very cozy, inviting little abode.
  17. Ha ha! I think I know who you mean! Saft's Infiltrator by @The Librarian "Advocate" Hovercar by Tammo S. F11 Locust (Ver. 1) and F11 Locket (Ver. 2) by @Sylon Triton by @Bob De Quatre Goblin Shredder by Chris Perron Vollmacht Avenger by @chubbybots2
  18. Oh yeah, cool! I've always liked that suit.
  19. By the way, do you or anyone else here know what exactly the formal name for a "Rocketeer" jacket is? I've seen it donned by many other Dieselpunk/Noir/Pulp archetypes, characters, and character reimaginings beyond the Rocketeer; and the closest name I can amalgamate for it would something like a Double Breasted, Bibbed Cowboy Jacket. A few other comic characters, for instance, that don such a coat include Lobster Johnson, Marvel's Star-Lord from the comics, and The Grey Ghost from BTAS (Batman: The Animated Series).
  20. Another score I've grown to love more recently is Michael Giacchino's work on J.J. Abrams' Super 8 from 2011, particularly one of its last tracks, Letting Go.
  21. By the way, has anyone figured out what the unfolded shape of the new Reaper cape will look like? It sort of has a rather cool trenchcoat look to it.
  22. Well, I don't think we know for certain that this movie will have any direct ties or references to the LEGO Racers videogames, let alone being directly based off of them.
  23. Heh, thanks! I do wonder though, if they'll continue on with the same relationship dynamic between those two as they'd did with The Lego Movie. In The Lego Batman Movie, though their interaction was much more brief, it almost seemed like any of Superman's general annoyances with Hal were put aside/forgotten.
  24. I wonder if Channing Tatum Superman will be receiving the same Apocalypseberg treatment. If so, it'd be cool if he looked something like this:
  25. I take it that's a modified Legends of Chima raven headgear he's wearing?
