MOC: Minifigure Scale CREATOR VW Beetle
bamsham363 replied to bamsham363's topic in Special LEGO Themes
from what ive seen, most primary colours and of course black and white, th axes are limited to black or grey, but so far for my colour combinations all seem possible, but am working my way through this with more realistic beetle colour combinations as per my already built version (minus opening hood/trunk) thanks for your comments -
i suprised myself with a new version, with opening bonnet (hood) and boot (trunk), and of course doors, as per prev models roof can be hard top or soft top and fits 2 mini fig in front and one in back, 2 at a push if roof is down, comments thoughts welcome, is a work in progress as would like to enhance the engine/roof etc etc

thanks, not bothered by relative minifigure scale myself, just the shaping and style, so your comments are most welcome, i like realistic vehicles not the single seater speed champions etc -
many thanks, just put in the order to actually make it, will be an interesting one for the shelf

very nice, good action set, glad people still like older style vehicles too and are not hung up on newer speed champion like sets, lovin the colours and scale, and the amount of detail at the minfigure scale, good work!!

for me it would be the mercedes f1 team set 75883, single seaters work best, not personally a big fan of the rest, s dont agree with the scaling, although some are very good in their design.

profile wise speed champions look spot on, they as you say are just not fit for purpose as only 1 seaters, i believe they can all be modded to become 2 seaters with a little work and imagination, am setting this as one of my goals.

very well done, and looks like a proper offering from TLG as well, love it
