    Yeahhhhh. The Dumbledore vs Grindelwald plot should’ve been its own movie, rather than awkwardly being shoehorned into the FB story. The two plots never properly meshed, so it really wasn’t a surprise when the whole thing fell apart in the end Not sure how well collectable creatures would do, might be a bit too niche I’m afraid

    Couldn‘t agree more! To me, the quality has been up there ever since the theme got brought back, but this is a particularly good wave ^^ Sure, I‘m biased since there are two sets here I’ve wanted since 2010, one of which is even better than my lofty expectations for it (Hagrid‘s motorbike) and the other (Lovegood house) only has two small caveats. But even the others are great, creepy faces aside Looks like they‘re cooking next year in general Maybe not so much with the upcoming smart brick stuff, but Marvel, DC, Minecraft, Speed Champions, and HP all have excellent 1HY waves!

    It‘s only one set, namely Vecna‘s house from Season 5! It‘s dark blue and white, just like in the show, and it splits apart ^^ We don‘t have good pictures of the interior, but the grandfather clock from season 4 is there and a sticker showing Vecna‘s „mind prison“. The minifigs are Vecna, Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Max, Will, Nancy, Jonathan, Steve, Robin, Mr Whatsit, and Holly (Mike & Nancy‘s sister).

    My work here is done, another set willed into existence Jeez, it‘s getting scary how many specific things I openly wanted that have become a reality recently. Combine this with all the sets that are suspiciously related to long-running jokes on here (like wolverised venomarine and UCS Dobby‘s sock), and we have enough material to start a full-on conspiracy theory WHICH OF YOU JONKLERS SECRETLY WORKS FOR TLG Anything I should openly wish for in time for the 2HY sets?

    Arm printing on both Iron Man minifigs and finally a new faceprint for Tony, plus an extra angry Hulk faceprint? Looks like Xmas came early this year Even the venomised Wolverine looks cool!

    Wow, these look much better than I thought!! The Spider-Man 3 and AoU mini dioramas are pretty fantastic in my eyes and that buildable Iron Man also looks great to me! Love the new Ghost Rider and that new flame piece that also shows up in one of the Harry Potter sets ^^ Mysterio‘s skeleton faceprint is noteworthy too! And of course, SM3 Venom! It‘s not often I‘m excited for a Venom minifig!

    You‘re right!! So we went from 2 prints to 6!! Impressive! Hopefully we get at least one more Death Eater in the 2HY sets so we can display all 4 of the new ones simultaneously without being multiple copies Has anyone figured out yet whose masks the new designs are based on?

    Ohhh, me likey!! This is a lot better than the the 2013 one, and we have a full Rhino minifig!

    Honestly, I like that approach. The Inquisitorius is a useful group of antagonists in particular since they‘re kept weaker than the Sith on purpose (both in- and out-of-universe), yet are still a credible threat to a lot of our protagonists in that era. You can‘t have Vader show up every time and let the heroes survive each encounter Same reason Ventress was created, I suppose, to avoid constant encounters with Dooku. And since they‘re essentially cannon fodder, the writers can also kill them whenever they want! It‘s annoying to me to have duels and battles where you know that all involved will survive. Maul teaming up with Ezra and co, surprisingly killing the Seventh Sister and Fifth Brother, only to then turn on the protagonists will always be one of the coolest moments in SW animation to me.

    Upon closer inspection, the bubble appears to be the round piece introduced earlier this year. Still, it‘s in a new colour and NPU to boot!

    I TAKE IT BACK, THE PIXIE IS ANGELIC COMPARED TO THE FACES IN THE FLYING FORD ANGLIA They took the wrong lesson from this year‘s Hagrid & Harry set. These might be some the most cursed printed pieces ever summoned.

    Or more than 4 months, like the recent DC sets You‘re right in that this pattern still mostly holds up, but I feel we‘ve seen more and more deviations from it recently ^^

    If all TFA gets for its anniversary are a midi-scale set and a helmet, and all ROTS gets are a BrickHeadz 5-pack and two playsets (plus mayyyybe the microfighter), what chance would RO stand? I certainly wouldn‘t mind a small wave of RO sets, but that itch has mostly been scratched with Saw and Galen showing up in sets, as well as the recent U-Wing. Fingers crossed for a BrickHeadz set at the very least! K2 in particular would be a riot

    RIGHT?? This is exactly what I wanted!! Took em 5 years, but still, so awesome to finally have it That said, the more I look at the Lovegood house, the more I think it‘s my favourite set of this wave. Love the angles and overall shaping, plus the colour scheme, all the nice details from the scene (including the kite), and of course the minifigs! And if the Tale of the Three Brothers is actually being represented, this will already be a contender for best HP set of the year for me. Ron being absent is the only blemish in my eyes
