You‘re not wrong and mix-ups have indeed happened before, but I think it‘s better to assume that what we see is what we get, be disappointed now, and maybe get pleasantly surprised later, then hoping the leaker didn‘t have all the parts and be disappointed later

I will take it back I assumed that the beard was only used in the CMF Gambledore, hence harder to brick back. False memory, since the Clock Tower also had it. So yeah, not bringing back two pieces specifically designed for Gambledore and even reusing the Harris faceprint, in a $450 set no less, is far from acceptable The hat is extremely central to his appearance too, particularly pre-HBP!

Hard to argue against. They cut more corners with poor Gambledore than a snowflake papercut He almost gives last year‘s Fudge a run for his money.

Overall, they don‘t cut too many corners with HP I‘d say. Yes, we’ve had a noticable lack of skirt printing for characters like Bellatrix or Narcissa, constantly recycled faceprints, and abominations like last year‘s Fudge. On the other hand, we still get plenty of new prints and cool variants, plus amazing creature pieces Tonks, Moody, Umbridge, Figg, and Voldy all look great in my opinion. Gambledore is the only weak link in the MoM minifig roster so far, but at least the minifig still has a new torso and printed skirt. Resurrecting two pieces that haven‘t been used since 2018 and 19 respectively probably was too much to ask for

It’s not a City set just because it depicts something out-of-universe With the other SW sets because it’s a SW set Might as well argue the gingerbread AT-AT is part of the winter village collection.

A picture of all 8 Baroque Works dossiers is out there! They all look great! Now I hope we get more of them as minifigs next year

More minifigs leaked, namely Tonks, Moody, Voldemort, and …some lady. Is that Arabella Figg perhaps? Screaming Voldy looks funny and we have yet another completely different colour scheme for Tonks and Moody

Main Street, the 2016 Disney Castle, and the 2019 Disney Train are still Disney sets in every sense of the word, despite depicting things from the real world on a meta level, rather than anything in-universe. Or all the sitcom Ideas sets with the obvious cameras. It has a SW set number, features SW minifigs, and will have SW plastered all over the box, so yeah, it’s a SW set

Huh. A new artbook just revealed that the grey Hulk will NOT appear in BND after all. The rumours and leaks weren’t wrong, it’s just that they scrapped the idea. In that case, the set remains accurate!

The minifigs in the theater set are said to be two workers, 3 cosplayers (C-3PO, Stormie, Jedi), and 4 fans. Sounds like there will be swappable posters, probably from the previously rumoured poster set? Edit: Even better, a lot of the sets come with LEGO-fied versions of all the posters on 6x8 tiles! They’re not randomised, luckily So far, TPM, AOTC, ANH, TESB, ROTJ, and RO are confirmed, but I’m sure all 14 movies will get one! Well, at least the 13 live-action ones. They’re really going all out with the anniversary!! The May UCS set is a new TIE Advanced and we’re also getting a concept art Stormie as part of the helmet collection! Another new set is a buildable ANH poster.

After so many failed attempts, he deserves it! The rumour says it’s young Lucas, so yeah, definitely black. Maybe he’s actually included in both sets! Kinda curious how they’ll portray the fans in the theater set. As much as I like the shirts in the Main Street set, I hope it’s more than that! I think that depends on what the series actually is. Maybe the people who suggested that it could be various real-life drivers were right Or it’s based on the movie! But yeah, wishful thinking. Most likely it’s the same thing again with different colours. Retailers must be ecstatic.

They have my support as well! I’m only rooting for teams that have never won before. It’s so boring to always see the same teams making it far. Norway this cup reminds me of how well Iceland performed during the European cup in 2016, who displayed a similarly cool Viking-like tradition. Until the French mockingly stole it. I’ve been rooting against France ever since. Please destroy them.

That’s what I usually try to do as well, but I was so disappointed with the ToD getting cancelled and DoD not getting anything, that I can’t help but focus on the wasted potential And not getting a BrickHeadz set just stings. As a collector, I always see a gaping hole in my BrickHeadz collection where Indy should be. Even if you don’t care about BrickHeadz, isn’t it insulting that Indy is pretty much the only major license that could’ve gotten one and didn’t? The only others I can think of that aren’t 4+ themes like Bluey and Gabby’s Dollhouse are Trolls, Dune, Star Trek, and all the Nintendo IPs. Dune and Star Trek are both active licenses so they might still get something next year, Nintendo is very strict with highly stylised representations of their characters anyway, and Trolls… If you’re sitting in the same boat as Trolls, you know you’re in trouble It was, but looking back, I can’t help but think of it as a stepping stone. It walked, so that the 2018 reboot could run a marathon. On its hands. It may indeed be a bit unfair to judge a theme that has lasted 15 years so far solely by the output of the last 4-5 years. However, comparing the first and second halves is like night and day, so it’s hard to ignore what this theme could still be. There has to be more than just endless Batmobiles

Looks like we’re getting two ‘meta’ sets next April, one being a theatre with an ANH poster and cosplayers (75659, $199.99), and the other being a BTS diorama of filming Tatooine scenes. This is the set with George Lucas, which also comes with two crew members, Luke, Obi-Wan, R2 and C-3PO. Or rather Mark Hamill, Alec Guinness, Kenny Baker, and Anthony Daniels? The build itself is said to involve the Landspeeder, a moisture evaporator, and filming equipment. I have to say, this sounds like a really unique and creative way to celebrate the anniversary!
