  1. I doubt the astronomy tower being taller than the main tower would confuse anyone, especially if the set was less expensive. I imagine such a set would only include the tower itself ^^
  2. Some more details, thanks to @Brick Clicker: Set Nr 11370, 2593 pcs, ~$300 It‘s allegedly based on S5 (potentially the radio station seen in the trailers) 13 minifigs! Release date Jan 1st! In January already?! Can‘t say I saw that one coming! Can‘t wait for more info
  3. The GWP has leaked as well! I can‘t remember one being rumoured, so that‘s a pleasant surprise! It features the Walshes‘ attic ^^
  4. There are two pics out there, and you can see the other side of the ship on the back of the box ^^ Is this the first set where what‘s usually the open back is advertised as the front? I mean it definitely makes more sense to display it this way Love the minifigs and the build looks cool too with all of the booby traps! Gotta watch the movie again, haven‘t seen it in like 25 years
  5. The issue is definitely not Boss Nass himself. Just throw him in the next Gungan sub or TPM MTT and we‘re golden We‘ve had obscure non-combative minifigs with new pieces before, and Boss Nass is far from obscure, so that‘s not a good excuse. The issue is probably TPM itself. TPM sets tend to feature Maul or podracing rather than anything Naboo-related, similar to how AotC sets tend to focus on Obi-Wan, Jango, and the Battle of Geonosis over scenes like the Zam Wesell chase (still mad at TLG for cancelling that remake in 2020!)
  6. I got cast as Captain America in the TIE Avenger-verse I had an inkling, once you mentioned the PT it just popped into my head
  7. Whoa, the second promotion in a week! My magic guessing ability strikes again! Works every time! Except when it doesn't.
  8. I love guessing games! Can you give us a hint, e.g. which era the character's from? Or does that make it too easy?
  9. One the one hand, it‘s kinda peculiar there‘s an Imperial trooper variant from the OT we‘re still missing. On the other, it‘s essentially just a Stormtrooper with a backpack Plop a Sandtrooper backpack on there and you‘re good to go Minifig-wise, I don‘t expect much from the March wave. I assume it‘s a mixture of repeats and a handful of ‚smart’ minifigs, which, judging by the patent drawings, seem to have a special torso piece with everything else being the same Wake me up in time for the M&G and Ahsoka S2 sets!
  10. I think by „modular“ he meant that some people want Minas Tirith to be split into multiple separate sets that can be joint together I remember that idea already being thrown around back in 2013 and yeah, that was obviously never gonna happen, and the latest rumours put the overdue final nail in that coffin Bold statement. How do you know that a majority of people dislike them? Online discussions? Those aren‘t representative of general consumers in the slightest. Most casual buyers likely wouldn‘t be able to tell the difference between the current and 2014 CTs unless they directly compare them in front of their faces
  11. The cauldron set only coming with Snape and Hermione is pretty lame, but all is forgiven if they include more of those awesome flask pieces, preferably in new colours!
  12. I don‘t see the relevancy of that house for a set. Sure, that‘s where they play DnD and where Eleven is hiding in S1, but it has no connection to the Upside Down and there‘s no way they‘ll release a ST set without featuring it in some capacity
  13. Precisely 50^0-1% Just look at all the themes that do get calendars. Each of them has at least 10-15 sets a year, and they consistently perform well. DC is simply too small a theme.
  14. You‘re entitled to your opinion, but that‘s far from being spam! @CloneCommando99 clearly puts a lot of effort into his daily posts and memes! Lambasting TLG‘s social media accounts with stupid hashtags, now that‘s actual spam! I also politely disagree with some of your other points. While I‘m not particularly fond of some discussions either, the vast majority of them are nuanced and have a right to exist. Speculation (and borderline wishlisting) are a natural part of our hobby ^^
  15. That's one of thew PS scenes we haven't had in set form, like ever. That said, it's hardly surprising. You said it yourself, the only time we see one it's been murdered in cold blood. Hardly set material And what would a set with a living specimen be like? Harry & Ron non-canonically frolicking through the Forbidden Forest with their new unicorn friend? ...I kinda want that actually
  16. Of course they can always resurrect moulds, but in that case they likely would've already done so. The Wicked set and the set Ron's patronus will be in aren't that far apart after all (even if it's one of the June sets). I think they'll simply use another dog piece
  17. The theory that the set was renamed due to search optimisation and name recognition just got a lot more credence since the newly revealed Speed Champions Delorean is named „The Time Machine from Back to the Future“
  18. That‘s quite funny to think about, as the patroni will be the first anniversary bonus that isn‘t (near-) uniform in terms of size! One set will have a tiny otter while another will have a pretty sizeable stag. In the extended lore, the size differences are even more ridiculous with one character having a mouse patronus and another a wooly mammoth! I think the mould has been retired, unfotunately. That‘s the only good explanation for Toto being a German Shephard puppy in the Wicked Wall Art set
  19. Since they‘re included explicitly to celebrate the anniversary, they won‘t continue into 2027 but with both of next year‘s waves combined, there should be enough sets to accomodate the patroni of most major characters Hopefully more descriptions wil follow soon! I need to know more about the Hagrid‘s motorbike set!
  20. Interesting that the collectable portraits are mentioned in the description! Glad to see them continue next year
  21. I think the theme not getting mercy-killed is enough of an anniversary gift
  22. I could see them include her in the set, given it‘s her father’s house, but story-wise that makes little sense Also, this is a really neat idea for an anniversary bonus! They‘ve already done golden minifigs in 2021 and special fan-requested minifigs à la Star Wars would have made little sense, given the extremely short list of missing characters. The only other route they could‘ve taken was reprints of the OG minifigs, but I‘m glad they‘re going with something more creative here!
  23. Granted, we got three new animal pieces before thanks to previous patronusses/patroni, but I‘m not sure if any of the upcoming ones will require new pieces. Out of reusable moulds, we have a stag, an otter, a dog (likely a different breed since the terrier mould seems to be retired), a fox, a wolf, a goat, a cat, a hare, and a horse, which would already be plenty of options throughout the year! I‘d say the most likely new ones are a phoenix for Dumbledore, a swan for Cho Chang, or a doe for Snape.
  24. According to a Brick Tap member, next year‘s sets will come with collectable patronusses/patroni(?)! The Hospital wing comes with Lupin‘s wolf and the potion classroom with Hermione‘s otter ^^ I wonder if they‘ll be any different from the ones we‘ve gotten before!
