Jurassic Properties 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

Unless there’s a wave scheduled for August or September, these two sets will likely be all we’re getting next year -

Based on what though? The anniversary? Because looking at this theme’s trajectory, what makes the most sense is to finally bin it -

I like the way you think They could easily reuse Gothmog and add a generic orc! -
Indeed. Visitors think I have a large collection (6000+ sets, 1.65 million pieces, 11k minifigs), but even that pales in comparison to what these two have in their possession The official world record is held by someone in Australia, but I'm not sure if he actually outdoes Duckbricks and Bricksie!

If anything, they would introduce more articulated animal pieces for younger fans, not adults 18+ sets tend to have brick-built creatures -

A mûmakil, mostly They’re iconic enough to warrant a set on their own! -

Well yes, but actually no It’s true they’re not confirmed to be Marvel sets yet, but we already have 4 Batman sets scheduled for next year, so there’s only room for one or two more going by current standards. -

Microscale is the only way to do it justice. Minas Tirith is a city after all And as @zoth33 points out, the way it’s phrased it sounds like there might be an interior at the back, the best of both worlds in my opinion ^^ The only thing I dislike about the rumours so far is the distinct lack of a certain flail-wielding badass. I get it, they likely wanna save him for a Battle of the Pelennor Fields set, but they could easily include him in two sets, no? -
Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

Highly doubtful. I don’t see any reason for them to shift gears like that when all the other expansions so far have been regular sets. Two huge castle sections getting released only 3 months apart would also bear the risk of self-cannibalising, plus D2C sets are more stand-alone Gringotts for instance feels like a complete model, even without the rest of DA. I hate to say it, but a Quidditch Pitch set has risen in the ranks of a potential D2C set because there’s not much else they haven’t tackled yet. Unless they start remaking previous D2C sets… (please don’t) -

Piece counts for the Fortnite 2HY wave: 77079: 210 pcs 77080: 314 pcs 77081: 1230 pcs 77082: 1963 pcs Kinda funny gap there, going from 314 to over 1200 pieces between the second-smallest and second-largest sets of the wave -

I didn’t know about the age recommendation, so yeah, definitely a castle extension then! Excited to see what it is, but PLEASE, can we finally move away from PS-based castle sections now?! I’d even take CoS now! -

Piece counts for the summer sets: 76462: 545 76469: 379 76471: 788 76473: 2164 76474: 817 76475: 244 76477: 480 Looks like another huge castle section is coming! It has even more pieces than the main tower! It could also be a D2C set, but I doubt it. The others are all too small for a flagship Hogwarts extension, after all. Edit: Ninja’d! -

With the Soup mech apparently underperforming, I guess it’s curtains for anything that isn’t Batman Yeah, I know, this year’s Marvel mechs didn’t do so well either by the same metric, but this does not inspire any faith in the theme regardless I still enjoy following DCU news, but man it’s just not the same without LEGO sets to go along with these movies and shows. -

I guess we’ll learn soon-ish what the faceprint of Ryan Gosling’s Starfighter character will look like in 2027 Project Hail Mary apparently gets a set next March and I assume they’ll conveniently reuse that print ^^ -
Project Hail Mary gets an Icons set in March! 2 minifigs (Ryan Gosling’s character plus a spoiler character), 826 pcs for $90-100. Can’t say I saw that one coming

Can't say I'm surprised For such a (presumably) high price they'd better FINALLY include the Witch-King too though!! -

The May GWP is rumoured to be the Darksaber I hope it‘s to scale with the other lightsabers, but then it‘d be too large for a GWP if it includes the blade… Just the hilt would be a bit silly though. Maybe it‘s at a smaller scale then. -

I think that‘s most people‘s #1 pick for good reason. Plenty of figures that can be reused (plus a few new ones), visually striking if done right, Spidey sells, and it‘d be some nice symmetry to first have an Oscorp playset sharing shelfspace with a D2C Daily Bugle, with their roles swapped the following year As for the rest of your ranking, I‘d put ‚nothing‘ in 2nd place. Perhaps a cynical stance, but I honestly can’t see any of the other options standing a chance. -

@psqidexslizer: In a vacuum, I‘d agree with you. The Daily Planet as a building is vastly more iconic than the Bugle and not enough minifigs being around that could „bleed“ into the set isn‘t that strong of an argument considering this year’s Arkham, for instance. That said, the DC theme is not in a position to get two modulars in a row -

YOU CAN’T STOP ME FROM SWOOSHING AROUND MY AT-ATs -
Make that a $200 Krusty Krab and I’d unironically take it all There is so much that has been added since 2012 that a revived theme could benefit from, be it in terms of product categories (4+, 18+, Brickheadz) or pieces (dual-moulding, moulded waist attachments like tails, and a whole bunch of now-regular pieces that didn’t exist back then). 2026 is already on a good track to become a top contender for my favourite LEGO year ever between the Ocarina of Time set, the two Deathly Hallows sets, Cobb Vanth’s speeder, the Creel House, the best Marvel wave in years, the upcoming Pokémon theme, more One Piece sets, and the rumoured Minas Tirith set, and if SpongeBob actually returns on top of all of that, it may just take that crown
