LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!

Plenty of people do ^^ I use them quite often in my publications, though it‘s the shorter version (-) and I usually place spaces before and after That‘s a funny thought tho: do people use ChatGPT on forums? I imagine in case people aren‘t that proficient in English, maybe? Because what‘s the point otherwise, there‘s no prize to be won And no LLM on this planet could jonkle as much as we can Let alone spread as much insanity as the almighty T U R T L E -

EXACTLY. Though ironically, the only BW part I ended up using was her hairpiece Thank you! I enjoy reading your comments as well ^^ Don‘t worry, I‘ll return to my previous profile pic eventually, this is temporary I‘ve had that since 2010-ish? Or maybe I‘ll update it with HELMET HOLES Edit: Wait, I used a TCW Phase I helmet, they had holes before it was coo… I mean the worst thing ever -

HP has the advantage of having one huge central location with both interiors and an exterior. The closest thing SW has is the Death Star, and even then it‘s usually interiors. Even the new Death Star is a collection of dioramas! Not sure what they could do, dioramas that each come with a section of the outher shell of the DS? Unlike Hogwarts, those sets wouldn’t work on their own and combining them would look silly unless you happen to have all of them. Other locations like the cantina, Hoth base, or the Jedi temple might work better on a functional level, but no kid would buy multiple sets depicting segments of those locations because they‘d be pretty same-y and would likely feel like a rip-off. -

It‘s been a lot of these three lately, but we did get Hermione, Dumbledore, and Cho in polybags before, and the latter was pretty recently ^^ -

The Grey Lady will almost certainly be based on her earlier appearances rather than her DH2 version ^^ -

No worries, having to make a Mara Jade minifig is punishment enough I still need to edit the pic! Indeed, plus Cobb Vanth! Definitely the most exciting SW minifigs in January. Looking forward to the new BB-8 too! The original started the current line of buildable figures, so we‘ve come full circle now -

Ohhh, these all sound fun! I will recreate #3 and #4 and then post them here before making the final decision ^^ Nice surprise to see a female Mauldalorian! I was expecting duplicates, like the 2013 version, but this is of course much better! -

Descriptions of more of the sets have surfaced! The Sorting Hat set comes with the cat patronus and it’s a remake of the 2001 set, complete with spinning wheel! -

I highly recommend SC! It’s a fun adventure with likeable characters and a different and fresh flavour of SW ^^ SM-33 is my #1 pick because he’s extremely vital to the plot (to the point the story wouldn’t work without him), he’s funny yet badass and even intimidating at times, the design’s awesome (a droid with a peg leg? Count me in!), and he’s voiced by Nick Frost And the punny name is the cherry on top. Him being left out of the Onyx Cinder was a huge blunder. Our only real chance of getting him now is as a buildable character -

Ding ding ding! We have a winner! Definitely a Landspeeder. It’s been a while since the last minifig-compatible one, and we only had two cantina-related sets that didn’t feature it. -

Good guess, but no! She’s #21 ^^ You’re right though in that it’s a character from a show! There are only two characters in my top 25 that appear in movies! -

Very Star-Wars-y ^^ Not ridiculously so tho! I’d say 8-9? Pao already got his minifig in 2016 Another hint: It’s not a character from Rogue One or Andor since we already got the characters I wanted most from them, with one exception at #38. Or two, to be precise! They share that spot. -

Correct! There’s only one pre-Disney character within the top 10 of my list, and that’s #10 ^^ Frog Lady and a Clone Commando are not on the list, but certainly in my top 100 if I ever go that far -

Not on the list, #26, and not on the list Boss Nass is #31. All eras are represented on my list, but the PT characters have all been named now except for one, who’s #44. Dangit, forgot about Talzin and Satine! In order not to ruin the rankings, Talzin is now #49 and Satine #50, replacing Almec and Quiggold respectively ^^ Tera is #46. Ohhhh, you’re good!! Gorian is #4, Republic Crosshair #5, and L3 #9! -

I’ve compiled my full top 50 now Dexter is #30, Greez #37, and Rebel Friend not even on the list Vernestra is #43, Sy #48, and Amanaman not on the list Qimir is the best guess so far at #2! Not bad! #15 ^^ As promised, a few hints: It’s a character from a movie or show. All of my top 50 have appeared either in live-action, a cartoon, or a game They have lines and are important to the plot. The minifig would definitely require a new piece. -

Good guess, but Qimir is in the top 5, and Sol, Yord, and Jecki somewhere in the top 20-25 I’d rather kneel before Zod Din Djarin. I wonder when they’ll finally make a minifig of him! -

WRONG, wrong, and wrong Mara Jade would’ve been hilarious, considering my continous blasphemic remarks about her …I have a bad feeling about what my new avatar is gonna entail if a member of her fan club wins this -

I’m afraid that would narrow it down a bit too much I will give out hints after a few incorrect guesses! ^^ -
Interesting to see the two hood pieces not only continue to coexist, but even show up in the same set! Also, the darksaber piece is no longer license-locked, and those dragon tail pieces might come in handy! Not sure for what characters specifically though

What’s this then? A funnily shaped batarang? I get it, the Knightmare scene showcases the worst-possible future where Soup turns evilllllll and they may specifically have depicted Man using guns to show how bad things have gotten, but still. I have two issues with that: 1) While Snyder clearly likes symbolism, he probably just thought it looked cool and that’s it 2) How do guns help in this situation? Unless he has kryptonite bullets, they’re useless anyway

While we wait for set pics or other news, I got inspired by @BrickPrick’s recent guessing game and thought I’d do something similar If someone’s able to guess my current #1 most-wanted SW minifig, I will change my avatar into whatever the winner picks Time to update it anyway! If I like the suggested idea enough, I will keep it long-term ^^ A couple of stipulations tho: Please don’t include only one guess in your post or something absurd like 50. The former may clog the thread and the latter be too easy probably The avatar still needs to center around LEGO SpongeBob. After all, I have to do justice to my username! It needs to be something I can physically take a picture of. As most of you probably know, my collection has a broad range in terms of themes, so plenty of minifigs or accessories to choose from Needless to say, nothing vulgar or otherwise offensive. I don’t wanna be banned over this -
