  1. Nice vintage lego hommage and the radar dish looks like a piece of art. Cool design!
  2. Wow! This looks amazing! You really hit the nail on its head with recreating the gloomy, crumbly atmosphere of the castle If TLG ever happens to make a UCS version of the place, they just have to copy your MOC! It looks perfect and the layout you have chosen, makes it obviously also pretty easy to pose and play with minifigs
  3. A beautiful and quite serene shack, with very impressive stonework. The old trees look pretty cool too, how they bend organically under their age. Very lifelike. I just wish the guy a nice wife to share this lovely place with
  4. Thats fun! Your characters has indeed a lot of character and quite some cuteness too The spear is a bit too nice and straight though... could be messed up a bit
  5. Looks beautiful! A wonderful glimpse into the past. The buildings are nicely realistic and I really like the cobblestone.
  6. Very cool shop and concept art! The colours and builds work very well together. Everything appears to be indeed very thoroughly designed Just the outside is a bit too apple-cleanish for my taste
  7. Very cool build! I really like the detailing on the death star and the fact that you caught just the moment when one of the X-wings explodes. Great job! The pictures are ok, but a neutral background, better lighting and a tripod can do miracles. Thats all not really expensive, even if the instinct tells one, that the money is better spent on more Lego, I know I also would like to see it from a lower angle, like in the film
  8. Now that is some cool stuff! The miniatures look awesome! The island itself might be a bit small still for the centerpiece of your display though.
  9. Thats a very cool idea. What about you scale it up a bit and add not only topography (which wou!d enhance it already quite significantly), but also add landmarks like towns and castles? Doesn't has to be gigantic. A tiny castle could be as small as 3x3 studs, for example and doesn't has to ge to scale, but would add a lot to it Also a compass-rose with the coat of arms of your island would look pretty cool too!
  10. Whilst I really like the two Ecto-1 cars, they are clearly oversized for Lego, if you compare them with the Minifigs and other vehicles. Though it is just very convenient to be able to fit in 4 persons in them, like in a real car. In that light the 4-6-8 formula from tiny compact cars to trucks looks to be the most convincing way, but it is also a decision that should be done case-by-case: The size of the vehicle has to fit its purpose.
  11. These look amazing! Another example that you can do so much with Lego!
  12. Wow, this looks genuinely nasty and evil! Very impressive. I also like that it has some solidity and playability thanks to the many joints! Also seems I have the chance to be the first to say the inevitable "You shall not pass!" Actually though, it passes pretty fine
  13. Hi there! Great to see people from all over the world coming together here I hope your lego-situation has improved since. Its not even for most of the people in Europe something cheap! Anyway, i wish you a good time here in the forum!
  14. They look phantastic! A really lovely deco-idea If you would like to upload the prints, that would be very cool
  15. Hey, this is really cool and something different! I like the cute comic-style a lot. Wonderful work! Now, if you excuse me. I have a project to support
  16. Very nice woodwork on the tower and the stables. The buildings fit very nicely to their surrounding landscape and I like a lot that the backside has hinges. That increases playability a lot
  17. Looks just great! With a very effective and elegant use of pieces!
  18. My understanding is that the core aspect of Lego is that its a construction toy. And therefore it is completely valid and fine to build it in whichever way you like, digital or not, with custom-parts or not, or whatever. Personally though I prefer my builds being made physically, without any custom-stuff. But I'm not going to push my preferences onto anybody else. That's not how it works anyway What I would like to see though is it that people make clear if their model is digitally created or actually built and if any customization was involved. If nothing, that will simply make it easier for other builders to replicate certain building techniques and show if the construction is solid enough to be actually build.
  19. Thats indeed true. They would be so suiting to a nice zoo-theme!
  20. This looks pretty amazing. The soft sloped roof, the large stones and vegetation together with the patch of land around it all harmonize very well together. The clothes-line is also something you don't see everyday. Nice detail. Its a wonderful build
  21. Just saw your recent updates like the LED-lights. Looks lovely!
  22. This is seriously impressive! Great looking ships and kraken!
  23. How could this build elude me! Amazing work. Packed full with details and lovely characters, beautifully arranged - and I love these arcades!
  24. Getting settled in my Lego universe, the Ancient One was delighted to hear that there are more styling options for her than going for the full zen-bald-look. After several centuries, she told me, it got a bit old really and she is ready for a change. No problem, I said and sent her a very competent head-stylist over! “Wow, cool far-eastern touch in here! Very zen, very chillout. And I love that round window! But that 3D telly with the hentai on must have cost a fortune!” “The tentactles remind me on something. Lets try this one… ah no. You are not quite the pirate-type, darling…” “No… too Yul Brynner that one.” “This is not bad somehow… but lets try some more.” “Ever considered becoming a pilot? No?.” “How lovely this one accentuates your eyes!” “Maybe something less tin-canny… Pointy ears are so cute!” “Oh dear… Hello there… I can explain that!” “I better give that one back too, what do you think?” “You are not really the blue type, I’m afraid.” “Now this looks absolutely fabulous! This hairstyle makes you look at least 800 years younger and the flower works so well with your outfit too!” Very happy with her new hairstyle, the Ancient One was also pleased to see the tentacle monster volunteering as hat-stand from another dimension! I hope you enjoyed my little story. There is also a review on the set here. I just say... sticker-sheet of doom!
  25. Looks funny! a quite literal translation of the name - and a pretty cool idea he had! Just a shame that it was a Lego truck that ran him over! I like it
