I'm not a fan of them, but this looks just cute and fun Could be a prop for a cheesy scifi B-movie

Fifth Indiana Jones Movie- 2019
Littleworlds replied to Junior Shark's topic in Culture & Multimedia
What about no film at all? Nature will ensure that this will be neccessary sooner or later anyway Also the 1930s have always been his best time, so when it comes to a new actor we will see at least proper villains again too!- 94 replies

Fifth Indiana Jones Movie- 2019
Littleworlds replied to Junior Shark's topic in Culture & Multimedia
With a harrison ford of this age the film is really unneccessary. Kindom of the crystal skull already was and I don't see that the next film could be possibly better. I like the actor a lot, but he doesn't do his legacy a favor by playing his old action roles again and again. There are still so many other roles he could play and show off his class as an actor instead.- 94 replies

Looks good & very british indeed. Especially the interior is very well made

Amazing work. Interiors and exteriors are just brilliant and everything harmonizes very well together. It really looks llik you spent a lot of time and dedication to it. Wonderful piece of history

I agree. The concept is supercool and has s lot of potential. Ships skimming the surface of gas oceans - thats quite different from usual scifi tropes. Very good! For the builds I recommend some bricklinking to get more greebly-pieces, aviation/space components and maybe a couple technic beams and such too for a proper, improvised and industrial look.

Looks mean and fast. Very cool design!

What was the last movie you watched?
Littleworlds replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Serenity. After I got introduced into firefly a couple weeks ago. Its an excellent series, like many people say, which likely just wasn't typical scifi-formula enough. The film itself though... Uneven, too dark story, too many main cast members dying. And the camera work and special effects were actually not as dynamic as in the series. -
Wow! Awesome build! A spectacular action scene frozen in time. I love the way the spine of the dragon is curved

Looks very cute! Lovely build Also nice to see the house is build in modules, so you have easy access to everything. Very useful.

Looks fantastic! There is a lot going on at the pictures: looks all very dynamic with a lot going on! I also like the vegetation. Very well done. And the castle itself is a wonderfully imposing thing. Great build

Looks amazing! Graceful and gloomy. Wonderful work!

This looks supercool! The piraty-seaworthy-adventurous-feel gets transported perfectly. I love the little model ship in the background. So very simple, yet just spot on! Gorgeous work!

Since I grew up with the Futuron-series replacing classic space, Futuron remains my favourite. The cool visor-helmets and elegant ship designs - great times Blacktron 2 was pretty good too and would have been perfect with the Blacktron 1 minifigs, if you ask me Those were the first really frightening minifigs! 2nd place for them.

This is absolutely lovely! And I see no-one is trespassing or falling into a ditch or so: good work

[MOC][Modular]Cathedral game city

This is a very cool and different idea - I like it a lot! The buildings look fine as "dummies" and indeed don't need a interior in this context. It also makes sense that they don't have too much greebling going on on them, after all they are meant to be handled with. The overall footprint of the game will be pretty large though? It surely looks amazing though and fun to play! -
Lovely built scene. Very atmospheric your short story js gritty, but pretty cool. Both goes very well together

Thats superfunny! Of course such things like to happen on a friday evening sehr schön!

I disagree, and quote myself from a couple of posts earlier: Same applies for The Force Awakens. Another kinda deathstar, another young hero from the desert, and a vader-wannabe isn't really innovative either and in my understanding not invigorating anything. Its just warming up and serving the same meal again people are used to. Arguing against remakes in general of course ignores the spiderman reboots, the many batman reboots and the star trek reboot, which run all quite successful and with quite high fan-acceptance - or at least not with a rabid outcry as it happened with Ghostbusters, which is really ridiculous.

Looks very good. The terrain has the "feel" of being created in a lego-filmstudio, so that seems to work Perspective is excellent too. I can almost hear a creepy synth-tune swelling as the pyramid gets into focus

A nice departure from the usual designs. Looks very good! It is also fun to see the wizard trying to figure out what magic lies within it

I wasn't impressed when i saw this set, but after your review I have changed my mind. These bone accessories are really cool. Awesome work! Brilliantly done! -
Ghosbusters-bashing seems to be the cool trendy sport of the summer... I wonder why this film attracts so much, and quite often pretty aggressive, criticism. Is it because its a bad movie? Reviews across the board say something else. And even if it would be bad, there are plenty of bad movies (often reboots of popular franchises too) released every year and none of them received so much hostility. It is just disproportional. It appears there is more beneath it, than just dislike of the film. I think it is indeed a lack of acceptance. The movie swaps the gender roles and characters like the nicely decorative, but a little thick secretary who is just hired for the looks is for a change a guy (and even thor! ). People seem to be content to watch a retelling of the very same story again and again. The nostalgia-machine running at full speed. (In Jurassic World, for example, the dinosaurs looked even more retro, than back in 1993, when Jurassic Park came out!) Ghostbusters did something daring, and in the eyes of many even something quite revolting: it did told its own story (at least as much it could, being a ghostbusters-film in the first place), with its own characters. And, to be honest, if a film is good or not doesn't decides the box office. Though I would be happy to see the film being successful enough to make Hollywood dare a few more female-lead blockbusters. Just because - why not? And one lovely day maybe, the gender of an actor won't matter anymore at all...
